I love my drag axle capra! My wife and I each have one and we have a great time driving them out in the rocks. I have found them to be super capable fun and reliable. I recently upgraded my electronics, wheels, tires and added weight down low which has really taken it to the next level. I love your channel thanks for what you do.
I really like my WDW Capra. Haven’t driven it enough. You still need to flip those tires around and try the same lines. V tire tread spreads and grabs better in reverse when crawling. The forward direction is for mud, water, and speed.
I still have my drag axle, Capra. I keep wavering back and forth, whether or not to go 4ws. For now, it will stay drag axle. Thank you for the continuing great content 😊.
i’m on my fourth capra, i’ve had two drag axles and 2 rear steers (one scratch built, my current is RTR) and i really liked my drag axles as much as my rear steers🤘
Always nice of see ya out on the rocks with Sid & I’m loving the Capra content I just did a complete update to a 4wheel steer Capra I’ve had for awhile so finally I have it driving awesome I have 2.2 Trenchers on it with a Injora link extending kit & Vader skid with Fusion SE 1800kv. At first the tires looked to big but now it’s just right & the entire thing just sits lower with the link kit. Those tires look just right on your Capra I’m going to have to try & get a set of your tires but I do know ya gotta get them right when you see them for sale it’s also time for a new WDW hat mine is looking pretty worn. I’ll keep an eye out for Cut n Shuts. 👍
I bought your full kit winch and really like it. I am doing the first comp this weekend since buying and upgrading it. I expect it to give me a good advantage. I have set up a loop on the axle so in normal driving I can use it for suck down. I can also unhook it and use it normally as a winch. If you like the GT5 controller I recommend spending a little extra money and getting the Flysky FS-G7P. It is a 7-channel winch with a small thumb lever near the wheel that works great for rear-steer. It is simple to use and highly customizable.
I bought a Capra chassis on eBay and I used a Vader skid axial 3 gear and you’re panhard/servo bracket with ar45 straight axles it has no problems on my course cuz it crawls everything I point it at
The treps just don't perform the same as the krawlers here in Colorado. Even scrubbed in they lack big time. The wdw cut n shut swampers are by far my favorite tire.
Have you ever tried the G7p from Flysky? The 3 way switch on the GT5 is a pot on the G7p and if you extend the lever a bit it's perfect for rear steer with your thumb.
I figured out if you put pen springs on the front shock shafts it keeps the front end down but yet drops when the weight starts coming off the front axle and the tires reach out. Truck is use a large shirt pen spring and stretch it, that way you loose minimal shock travel buy adding a spring.
Not into portals , just bought a pro, bout to rock some straight axels. The vfd transmission can have the hurtz v2 dig from vanquish works good on the ultra.
Another great video. Thanks! I have two drag axle Capras and love them, they just work. But neither has the Capra axles. One is basicaly my RTR 10.2 swapped to a Capra cage with a 4 link and SOA. The other is an RTR Capra that someone added your 3 link kit and 10.3 portals to. I think the narrow axles on both look better with the 1.9 tires. I love them so much I am planning a fresh ground up Capra caged build soon that will be 10.3 straight axled with a 3 gear. The big question there is do I run the 1.9 Treps or the Vanquish tires? Like their tall skinny look.
Looking to do a build soon. Will more of the chassis mount servo kits become available in the near future? Thank you kindly, keep up the awesome videos!
It looks at you when you know something will go but you just can't get it too late just right I know personally myself I will not give up it is very hard for me to walk away let's say that
Do you know I've had a lot of bad luck with them lately man I got five of them and out of five only one is working correctly right now I don't know if I tapped into a bad batch of the GTA V or what but it ain't like I'm real rough on them or leave them out in the weather

I love your work Logan, by far my favorite crawler channel.
Worked like a perfect! 😂 made me giggle. So did Sydney coming in hot with the rocks sliding after her

I have the G7 as well and love it!
WDW Capra drinking game…. Take a shot every time he says “drag axle” 😂
I would really like it if you could do another video of the base camp love your content keep it up
I no longer own a base camp
I bought a Capra chassis on eBay and I used a Vader skid axial 3 gear and you’re panhard/servo bracket with ar45 straight axles it has no problems on my course cuz it crawls everything I point it at
Still have my drag axle Capra since the kit first came out. Still running the stock portal gears with 5.7 tall 2.2 boggers.

Yes, I have some on order currently should be in stock in a week or so
Love the video 👍
Just subscribed
Set punch to #6 amd it should have tones of wheel speed.
Setting #9 is insane.
Ive never ran a capra with rear steer but my drag axle can pull off more lines than my friends rear steer cars
Are you interested in the axial CJ7 at all?
Any advise for new comers getting started, just got a capra
Getting anti squat in front how too?
Front uppers lower or higher at chassis?

The Flysky gets a lot grief from the Futaba and Spektrum guys, but I’ll put it up against them every day.
Get yourself some Ruptures, way better & have more of a bite!
