- Lexus Guildford were kind enough to let me test their new MY18 NX 300h Premiere demo. This new model comes with both aesthetic and technological improvements and is said to be one of their highest selling vehicles.

It's actually an on demand AWD. Most of the time the NX300h is fwd. The rear electric motors powers the rear axle with up to 50% of available torque when conditions require.
Ich hab dieses Auto mit Vollaption. Das Fahren ist damit traumhaft ich bin begeistert jedes Mal egal ob ich auf der Stadt oder auf Autobahn fahre, i love it 🤗
Nice review. I have owned an NX for two years now and you have described very well how the car performs. It is easy to live with and is a pleasure to drive.

The gearbox aren't going through any gears. It doesn't have any fixed gears since it's an ECVT with planetary gears.

Hi, small point but if you load shopping etc always lean it to the N/S that way it leans against something whereas on the O/S it leans against fresh air and probably would spill everything out of the bag especially items that roll. Peter.
Nice to get your perspective with that new NX. I test drove one here in northern California at the end of last summer. While I enjoyed it, I opted for the larger RX. In any event, both are excellent choices in the Lexus lineup. Too bad your climate there didn't cooperate with you to allow a sunny day to enjoy that test drive.

Excellent review mate! You spoke plain facts, just the way they are. Does the F Sport model have a significantly stiffer ride quality than the Luxury one?
Thanks for your comment! I'm unsure of the answer to that, unfortunately. As I mentioned in the video, the Premiere has McPherson struts so its already set up well, but I imagine these could be stiffened in the F Sport.
I'm ordering one (used) and it's near impossible to find one with a almost full pano roof or "moon roof" like yours. There are a lot with sunroofs, which are the standard size, but none with the larger types. I wonder why people did not opt for that feature more in 2018, as it's a great looking feature.
Without moon roof it is quieter, cheaper and a little bit lower center of gravity ;) I have such roof in CR-V, and honestly I only open it in winter. In summer it lets too much sun in.

It is an optional extra in the UK. But worth it.

Not isn’t not. It takes the headroom. I went for the normal roof.
@@attilab.2818 yes, it does slightly, so tall people may find that an issue. I am 5' 11” so it is fine for me.
Everyone needs a panoramic roof on their car it brightens everything and is great when around tall buildings. How is the porsche doing in winter conditions?
Or a 'moonroof' ;) Loved how big this one was! Porsche is proving to be a little slippery actually. I will be putting out a video soon :)

No, I didn’t go with the panoramic roof. It takes so much headroom., so uncomfortable to travel in the back for adults as their head constantly hit the lowered roof.

Panoramic roof isn't practical if you have adults in the second row. 🙄

very good visibility ???? look behind you...i see near nothing out of the back window !!! A DACIA Duster outperform most modern SUV´s in visibility !
