I own a 2021 NX 300 premium trim level turbo and I love it! I’ve owned it since January 2021 and its great for me since I don’t have children. I was thinking of maybe upgrading it in the future to the RX350L only for when I go on road trips with others, there’s more room if needed. Other than that I’m very happy with my NX 300.

I love your review. I recently bought a 2021 NX base model for my wife. Is a nice looking car, however, I do not like the road noise and how it gives the impression that you move side to side. I have the 2020 Lexus RX 350 and is a different driving experience. The RX is silky smooth..

I haven't seen your last video but I'm hoping that you're not gonna quit doing reviews, or if you do stop for now because of the virus that it won't be an indefinite thing. This was an awesome video of course that's nothing new, I was surprised that Lexus went back to their older grill for this car. And the pad for the information system does make sense to me, I don't know if I'd rather have this or a touch screen, keep grinding and thanks for putting out amzing content!

Oh yea don't worry about that last upload lol I took that down myself before RUclips did because speaking the truth is prohibited of course.
But regarding the car reviews I just said that is definitely continuing companies are still issuing press cars and people are going to dealerships for reviews so nothing really has changed in the car review world.

@@MeynMotorGroup That's good to hear man, and yeah it's really weird that RUclips is demonetizing and taking down videos that discuss something that effects us so greatly. Always here to support, would you review the Lexus RC-F at some point? But if you did still want to talk about it without getting the video taken down I would try to refrain from actually saying "corona virus" or the word "virus" and stuff, I know I'd probably wouldn't want to at that point because it seems ridiculous to do, but that's what a lot of other RUclipsrs are doing

You compare this to the non-hybrid, but you can't. Hybrid burns regular gas, non-hybrid requires premium gas... and my friend, when you pump premium every single fill up is hardcore... you will get tired of that extra $1 per gallon.

Thanks for the great review Kevin! I have owned a 2020 NX300h since October of last year. I love it, and I am one of those strange people who actually like CVT. I live in Colorado, so I drive in the mountains a lot. The CVT works very well uphill, downhill, and on the level. Whenever I drive a car with a multi-speed conventional transmission, all that shifting drives me crazy, especially going uphill: upshift/downshift/upshift/downshift endlessly, with constant unintended speed changes. The CVT will maintain speed and smoothly find the right "gear". And I use the paddle-shifters regularly-very pleased with them. I like the brakes. They might seem touchy at first but you really learn to love that response. In 11,000 miles I have averaged 34 mpg. Noise from coarse pavement has worsened over time, probably because the factory tires are junk. Touchpad grows on you, and it sure beats trying to reach for a touchscreen. Ride and handling for me are great. My biggest wish would be a little more power. I had a NX300t as a loaner for 2 weeks and it was also quite good. I do prefer the hybrid since I have driven hybrids since 2005.

Interesting note about the road noise. I notice that LS 460s tend to be very quiet. I think that I read somewhere that Lexus, like other luxury car marques, use acoustically insulated tires on their nicer models-but I may have to verify that. Anyway, nice review. I think that CVT is tired.

You forgot to mention a couple things about the Lexus NX exterior.
    1. The front nose design is US-specific to the NX300/NX300h due to pedestrian crash regulations, international models have a more aggressive look even in base form.
    2. The F-Sport trim NXs do have that aggressive/sportier front bumper similar to international models.

I own the hybrid version of the pre-facelift NX and I’m glad I didn’t get the turbo four. In Europe petrol is expensive and the turbo version is very thirsty. Also, it doesn’t drive all that great as it only gets an old 6-speed automatic transmission. GS and IS with the same engine are equipped with a much better and quicker 8-speed automatic and that is the option to consider against the hybrid, but not in the case of NX where I really prefer the hybrid version.

What would you buy. A RAV4 (2020) or the Lexus NX300. Love the new RAV4 as built on a new hybrid platform NX still 5 years old. Some annoying things in the NX like the touch pad and infotainment system. Why u need a CD player in this day and age. Is the ride as rocky/bumpy in the RAV4 as it is in the Lexus. Will look at RAV4 excel with panoramic roof against the NX 300 F-Sport version. I. An see them nee RAV4 slightly edging ahead. Would like peoples thoughts to help me decide which to buy.

Glad for the Apple Play. I will keep this car because I understand the Main Batteries are lasting a much longer time than anticipated....

For information: the reason Toyota an Lexus don't state the torque of their hybrids is because the electric motors deliver their maximum torque at standstill. They could claim very high torque but since it'll immediately drop off once you start moving, Toyota / Lexus considers it misleading.

Everytime I drive a car that you reviewed all your observations are on point man! This thing feels really bad on rough pavement, and I also had the weird BT pairing issue. One thing that surprised me is the hybrid system feels very abrupt when it turns the engine on. My gf used to have a saturn vue hybrid and even that thing felt smoother transitioning from on/off, that would bother the hell out of me if I owned one of these
Also it could just be my body type, but I could find a comfy seating position without the wheel feeling like it's too far away. That's probably more of a me thing since I'm short but drive in a tall person seating position 😂

Yea my friend was not a fan of this at all Lexus knows how to do better, we see it with the ES 300h but you would think they would give an SUV that same level of attention considering it's a hot seller.
Yea I don't recall the seat settings but yea when you don't feel comfortable or can't get adjusted in a seat it's not a vehicle worth looking into
