As an American, I wish we could get an mg from the super market. Unless you have special licenses or an older gun from before the auto ban, all ownable firearms are semi action. Like shotguns or bolt action/ar fifteens
hehe, we engeneers don't do youtube. But I wouldn't trust like 90% of people I know here with guns, a week ago a girl I brought home wanted to try out my airsoft gun (it's a beautiful hkg3a3 gbb), I carfully explained the rules of gun safety to her and yet the first thing she does is unintentionaly flagging me and my monitor, then I took it from her and she didn't understand what she had done wrong.
We have about 300 million guns here in the USA. Most of the gun crime you see and hear about is in LIMITED areas of the USA, mostly inner cities. For you Euros, the MAIN reason you do not have guns is not about "Safety" is about POLITICAL POWER. You are prefectly safe here in gun heavy areas as you could be in the safest place in Europe. I do not expect you all in Europe to understand something that you have never been exposed to. I will tell you this: In a civilized society, the prescence of guns does not affect crime or violence. Weapons in such a society is not a problem.
The European mind cannot comprehend living outside of a city, where there is very limited to non-existent police presence. 🤣 I think it's funny that something so normal for me is bonkers for you. I also think it's ironic that Germany produces some of the best civilian firearms on the US market (Big shoutout to the Walther PDP and pretty much any H&K offering). Cheers, man. Thanks for the laughs.
I don’t think you realize how much empty space there is in some European countries, mate. In the around the Benelux region and Germany and the Mediterranean it’s fairly packed but that’s not all of Europe
@@cgnovice2969we 100% understand. We have States larger than multiple countries combined. In the US you can drive 12 hours in 1 direction (sometimes more) and never run into signs of civilization. Other than the rd you're driving on & the occasional fill station. That's rare in EU.
@@LordVader407it takes me 10 hours to drive through Montana when I go visit my mom. Takes 3 hours to get through North Dakota and 3 hours to get into eastern MN
6:00 we can't have shorter shotguns due to laws, however you can have one with no stock but its not like the movies. Having no stock is sacrificing your aim.
5:54 Amazing. Dude who is absolutely clueless about american gun laws, gun culture, the need for self-defense, and the reasons why we have the 2A immediately picks up on how ridiculous the NFA is with its restrictions on short-barreled shotguns
Yeah, man. I think it's fair to say that Europe is more friendly towards suppressors, too. Which, for the life of me, I can't understand why the NFA restricts my ability to attach a muzzle device designed to mitigate shooting-induced hearing damage to my rifle.
With no prior knowledge of firearms or tactics he still knew intuitively that the barrel is gonna telegraph around the corner before he does and give the robber the upper hand!
I think you misunderstand why he cares about "how many dry walls it will break" is because for a home defense firearm you don't want the rounds to over penetrate your target and go through walls and hit someone else. So yeah. We think about it.
I see reaction videos like this and kinda laugh. things people outside of America don't understand is..... 1. Our police response time is terrible. I have lived all over the country and the best response time is around 2 mins, the worst I have experienced was 45 mins or they just did not show. 2. We do have alot of wild animals, I have only had to draw my gun thrice, once on a bear, once on a mountain lion and once on ...... 3. Americans have a general distrust for our government. We really fear a tyrannical government, foreign or domestic.
Hungarian here. We also can't get a gun for home defence, just for sport shooting and hunting, BUT it is legal to defend your life with a legally owned hunting or sport shooting firearm.
shotguns have to be at least 18-inch barrel because laws. the first shotgun had a larger shell than the second. Shotguns are very much more lethal than a handgun. Most of them are kinda like shooting 8 handguns at once
that's the hilarious part and shows how stupid lawmakers are. A 00 buckshot is like 9-10 9mm bullets being shot at someone at once. It will shred anyone at up to 50yds (150ft) and somehow lawmakers consider it less deadly than a handgun
Pistol: puts holes in things. Rifles: put holes through things. Shotguns: remove things entirely (potentially) they can also do the above mentioned. It's essentially a smooth bore shoulder fired cannon. You can also get a rifled barrel and shoot more accurate projectiles. Like rifled slugs, for example.
Every culture is different and sometimes jarring. I hate the way middle eastern countries treat their women, but I cannot do anything about that. American has a lot of guns, more than people, and there is nothing we can do about it except educate yourself and if you are truly afraid of guns, moving is also an option.
The most stupid argument about how middle eastern countries treat their women is that these women are ok with that and they accept it as part of their culture......what a nonsense. We have a woman from Afghanistan in work here in Czech Republic, it's super rare to have these people here, so more curious you are about their stories....she stopped wearing that nonsense on their head first they she arrived here and she is almost crying when someone holds door for her, she would never return to Afghanistan voluntarily.

Like saying; “It’s crazy that they think about that stuff”, When referring to over-penetration. Yeah, of course it’s something we think about. Our goal isn’t to kill the neighbours dog and our family members.
Specifically Florida & Ohio. The world should be grateful that we are containing these states from going outside the country. Otherwise, the world would be in danger 😟
American houses have much thinner walls than you are used to in germany. Over penetration is an actual issue here, as our houses are made of hollow wood frames with sheetrock.
This topic in culture is truly inconceivable to the rest of the world because Americans will die for their guns. Sorry but that’s just how it is here. It’s part of the way of life. If you’re not comfortable with that don’t come here
Thd "nice big spread" isn't as big as advertised with a shotgun. If it just made an impenetrable cloud of doom, my latest shotgun (Stevens 555 12 gauge over/under) would be pointless as sporting clays would require no skill. Love your channel bud but i do have to make my spiel, Unfortunately with the continued devolving state of our judicial system aligned with the spike in violent crime nation wide in our country the right to bear arms is taken very seriously for the people we intrusted to protect us are unable or unwilling to do so then it falls on the shoulders of the common man to defend what is his and those around him, Unfortunately you cant carry a cop every where you go and Unfortunately we have criminals that mean to do others harm with no care for what laws we do have therefore I refuse to be a victim to those who intend ill will, along with that my GF who works late into the night always carries one of my .38 revolvers as she in her past has been harmed by a man with vile intent she too refuses to be victimized again, so while our gun rights and ability to carry may seem arbitrary to others we take our rights and the ability to fight back very seriously!!!
In order: 1) Bears are a real threat in a lot of America, we are a pretty rural country. But malicious humans are a more likely threat. 2) The way gauge works is relatively simple. If you have a 12 gauge shotgun, that means that it takes 12 lead balls that are the diameter of the barrel to weigh a Lb. So 12 gauge is a fair bit more powerful than 20 gauge. 3) Yes, they make shorter shotguns. And they work better indoors. 4) That revolver is a little overkill. But It is also very loud for its size, which I assume is why he is recommending it. 5) Walls in America are not very good about stopping bullets. We really should use more brick in our construction. So over-penetration is a real danger in a domestic environment. 6) Glock-19 is fine, and pretty cheap. 7) Yes, all the ammunition companies and ammunition names are silly. I don't know why. 8) The vector is an amazing gun, but probably a bit expensive. It is literally a PDW. 9) I recommend a RUclips channel called Forgotten Weapons, if you want to learn more about the history of firearms, especially European ones.
