How can you tell what cords to play what key are you in?? I sit in with two guitars they are playing with Am backing track, my tenor is in Bb, guitars are in C, Do I play in D or BM ?? Thanks
Would be nice to point out that the “Major blues scale” and “minor blues scale” have the usual relative relationship as the major and natural minor: A “minor blues” is the same set of notes as “C major blues”. Just like A natural minor is the same set of notes as C major. That might not be completely obvious to a novice. Also: it would be important to point out that you can use the c minor blues scale over the whole form of a c blues but if you want to use the major blues scales, you need to follow the changes and switch to an f major blues scale when the form goes to F.
Very good lession. Very good jazzman. And you are very good teacher.
Thanks!
What happened to the pentatonic b3 scale (R 2 b3 5 6) or "R&B" scale

aucun guitariste sait utiliser 8 gammes blues * 6 formes * 12 tonalités soit 576 solutions !!!!!!!
