    So you're calling single notes chords?

    • @edwardsviolin
      @edwardsviolin  Месяц назад

      Yes, these are just the Root notes of the chord:)

    @jamessmith4836 6 лет назад +5

    wow that was really helpful thank you. Being that a chord is at least 3 notes, how do you decide other than the root which note to sound when making double stops? Is there a simple rule similar to the one you used here?

      Hi James - here is another little video on finding the 3 notes of the chords👍 ruclips.net/video/Z3NhgGaEjEs/видео.html

    You don't appear to be laying out a I IV V chord PROGRESSION right? You are merely showing the NOTES that make up the I IV V of a given chord, right? I'm seeing this for the first time and I'm a little perplexed by the simplicity!! Thanks maybe when I sit with my fiddle later it will come together; I hope!

    • @edwardsviolin
      @edwardsviolin  6 лет назад +1

      1cleandude This just gives you the beginning note for the I IV and V - you would have to build from the beginning note of each of these chords ( the third and the fifth up ) to have the full chord 👍

    looking at charts ? Is the ear any help?

    • @edwardsviolin
      @edwardsviolin  Год назад

      If I understand your question- yes often you can hear the chord changes to the 1, 4 and 5 easily - from this chart you would build your chord on these notes so say a G chord would be GBD 👍
