For strength builds I recommend farming Ruiz Velazquez in Karburg, Weavers Fen. It has +17 str, +0.35 chance of rare items, potions cooldown 22% faster and gain 0.40% health per second. He respawns around once a minute so its easy to farm too.

the only named elite which is worth farming is in Edengrove - Lower Slag Mine (in the south) it drops a lvl54 legendary earring +20 const/ 0,43% of your life every second etc
The reason is bcs of the drop requirement! If you’re lvl 36 ur able to only get the earring and 33 sword. At lvl 42 you’re able to get the 42 rapier and ice gauntlet. Yes, i realised from personal experience. Got 6 earrings and 7 swords at lvl 39 xD..

Just clicked the vid out of curiosity and noticed that i did get the Charm as first drop from him. As i play tank, this item is amazing ! It saves me alot of food/potions when playing solo. And it also helps alot to stay alive in dungeons.
Directly to the East of this exact location is a graveyard, which has another named mob like this with a fast respawn rate. If I recall correctly, it's a lvl 45/46 mob, but drops the same stuff. It's easier to farm since its secluded from other mobs, so you don't have to worry about aggroing anything extra.
For a better chance of getting better drops, use the ring that you get in Weavers Fen. It’s a blue ring that gives you 2 stacks of 1.9 luck. Not sure what level you need to be to unlock it, but I think it is before level 40

Many people are rushing to do this but yet are failing due to the lack of water mark/gear score currently assigned to their profile character. They are only getting best of what currently has dropped for them...
If you are not getting drops try pulling him away from the wall he spawns beside. Its possible the loot bugs into the wall or something. I did around 15 kills in a row beside the wall and never got a drop. Didn't have this happen when i pulled him away. Possible it was very bad luck but maybe not.
I've been farming this guy for 3 hours, and I've gotten 7 flutters and 5 charms, but no rapier (sharktooth) which is the only thing I need! It says it requires level 42 to equip and i'm only level 36, but I was planning to equip it when I reached that level. Will it not drop for me until I hit a higher level?

Save your items, all items. You will never know what you need until you need it. Look up guides on items, crafting, leveling, etc. Questing is a big role in this game along with the town board missions, faction missions, PVP missions which you get from your faction advisor, portals (random spawns in the land/world of monsters that drop items and shards), join a guild/company almost instantly and get a feel for what they bring to the table and ask everyone anything...There's always someone to answer question in the chat using the command: /help Good luck out there!
Went there. Been trying for 0,5 h. He didnt drop me any purple item. Then I found a chest piece and pants , both purple, in my inventory. Dunno where they came from, maybe from the minions that sometimes also did trigger and attack us. Both were with wrong stats for my class and bound on pickup so had to salvage them. EDIT: went there 2 more times, farmed him for some 30-40 mins more both times. He did drop me the earring finally. But his drops are inconsistent. Sometimes he won't even leave a lootbag.
Would be great to find out what loot tables these elites have. There are a lot of these special elites and I'm wondering if they have similar respawn timers
Pretty ssure after Into the Void patch he no longer drops good items. I died about 10 times, lv 39 and farmed him for an half hour and only got heavy clothing. Pretty sure I payed 200 gold repairing items, probably been better to just buy better gear instead.

the question is how long in total it took to gain this. if he respawns within 45 secs and having a chance to drop purple items cool, but if it needs hypothetically 24 hours of constant killing to gain one purple item the fast respawn time and chance of dropping purple items is more of a bummer :/

Noob question - does each kill drop a copy of the same loot for every party member? Does everyone see a different loot drop (meaning the RNG rolls for each player)? Or does the one item just go to whoever loots is fastest?
In Windsward region, on the Pride of Puckett. But not on the ship itself or in the pirate village, but in a small cave justt on the left when you pass the gate. There is a named enemy "Swogglesmear" that is able to drop "Reis' Lucky Piece" which is for INT.
@@finfan83 rei’s lucky piece, I found a different video which pointed me in that direction and got it in like 40-50mins of farming. Had it since 44 about to hit 50. Getting closer!!
How long this take? 1hr? are u wearing any luck to prevent a amazing drop rate like that? kinda seems like I have 0 luck when it comes to the unique drops to elite monsters.
28 oct 2021 I'v tested it out and nothing, for 30 minutes straight farming this mob and nothing just regular itens, reading the patch 1.40 I find out that it has been patched. No more epic drops ma dudes.
I started farming it yesterday. I have gotten the Sharktooth once and the Flutter twice. No ice gauntlet or earring yet. Most of the time he drops nothing, so they may have lowered the drop rate but he is still dropping at least a couple epics.
I can confirm as of 10/30/21 12:47pm(ast)/11:47am (est) that the epic earring does still drop. I got it and the ice gauntlet after 13 minutes of farming. I also got another flutter. If you are not getting drops try equipping some luck gear.
At level 40 it's great for any build really. As a first ear ring you don't have to use as many health pots plus you can find it with DPS bonus on it. The ability is unique but you can get it with different rolled attributes. However it's alot harder to get now and it's been patched. The drop rate is alot less. Constant healing isn't a bad thing on any build when your other option is nothing.

just tried ytd with some mate, got the earrings, rapier and ice glove thingy, achievable but it depends on luck

Same applies to a lvl 16 bear in windsward. He droped me lvl 40 earrings with dexterity

At level 20 you unlock the amulet slot not the earring slot :>

Different rolls for everyone. Some people might not even get a drop.

You salvage them, it's all you can do when they're bind on pick up, can't be traded, can't be sold.

i guess this earring is better suited for tanks. as a dps i would def prefer the full on str stats plus higher gs is always nice
