FTisland is undoubtedly the most underrated group/band in the K-industry. They write/produce/compose their own songs and pretty much all members can sing. Even the non-vocalist members, Jonghoon and Minhwan can sing better than other idol group main vocals.
At least in Japan FT is in different level compare to other "KPOP"idols. Others release Japanese boring albums which are totally same as their Korean song. But FT never do such a thing. They always write own songs with their passion for music. So they have many fans loving true rock not like "KPOP idol fan" in Japan which has 2nd biggest music industry.

But FTisland are one of the most known bands along side CNBLUE and Big Bang. Threaten legends. That’s like saying no one knows who IU is or something. Most of the new fans don’t acknowledge and then when they do discover them, they go rant saying how FTisland is so underrated. Hongki and his vocals can’t be underrated. If they were underrated they would be disbanded by now. They’re promoting a lot in Japan right now. They’re really popular in Japan so I don’t understand what you mean by underrated

Jaejin has a very nice voice and can sing very well!!but overshadowed by Hongki's powerful voice in FTIsland.it feels sooo good to hear jaejin singing as the main vocal even though it's a duet song.:D I love Choa in AOA!they look good together!!

Jaejin's a really good singer. He's actually the vocalist of FTI's sub-group, FT Triple. If hongki handles the high notes, Jaejin is incharge of the low notes. :) This really makes me happy~ So proud of our baby goat. :') =))
