I agree with you the Polished Aluminum looks a lot better than the black look. It looks more expensive.

Does arm pivot works only at one position, or in any position (when the pads slide back and forth)?
It can go back and forth & left and right at any time.

Do you face any problems with Posture Fit SL?Is it comfortable?
I don’t have problem with it. I have been keeping it in a pretty lose position. It has been comfortable.
When it was actively pushing on your back, it wasn’t as comfortable.
Can I ask how it looks now 1 year after you have had it? I like the colour and would be intere4sted to see if marks and scuffs have become apparent?
My chair still like the day I unboxed it. However, I work at home by myself. I don’t have anyone to bump into or anything. No marks and scuff.

I have a similar chair, but it is black and about 15 years old. My aluminum was dull and it needed a polish, that is how I found this video. My armrests had the front banged up and you could see the foam. I found out a little while ago that you can get all the parts you need to repair these chairs. A while ago I replaced the armrests and the foam pad that supports my legs. It feels and looks like new. My aluminum is looking better, but I am looking for a way to get a mirror like finish. I'm looking forward to another 15 years (at least) of use from my chair.

I think you can buy used. Since lots of offices are getting ride of them. You might not able to find any grey one, but they are lots of black ones out there for much lower price.
If you want to buy it new. I think it worth every penny.

Hi Eric, how was your experience so far with the aeron?
It has been great. I really like the chair. I love the color and the mesh. I heard of people that don’t like mesh, but I definitely like it more than fabric seat.

@@sam5605 One thing to know before you buy it. The mesh and leather arm are both firm not soft. If firm isn't your thing, this chair probably isn't for you.

It is. And you can seat on it much longer than a dinning chair.

No, it looks like new. One thing get really dusty is the plastic box under the seat. But I never pay attention to it, unless I get really bored.
That full 12 year warranty though is worth it!

are all the chrome look aluminium parts. all of them are aluminium or only the base and frame ? are the arm rests real aluminium or are they coated plastic ?
The arms are aluminum. All metal looking parts are real aluminum. All grey parts are plastic.

Is this what they have in your school? I heard that lots of Universities have them, because of the 12 years warranty.

It can, my aluminum was looking pretty dull. It still looked great. Still better than the black IMO. I've been using some mag wheel polish on the metal. It looks good, but I am looking for a way to get a mirror like finish. My chair is 15 years old.
