Walk with me | Ep. 12 - Shimla, Himachal Pradesh | Last Dinner & Last Sunset Before Heading to Delhi

[e-mail] | Shimla, Oct, 2023: This video is the finale for the first leg of our Shimla walks. The video starts with our casual walk around The Ridge and The Mall road areas of Shimla. We then continue ambling and rambling onwards and away from The Mall towards a less famous landmark of Shimla called Command House The Retreat that today houses a senior army officer - the head of the Army Training Command.
We decide to turn eastwards and backwards towards The Mall then and once there we spend a few more minutes catching the last glimpse of a Shimla afternoon. So many people just like us were relaxing and walking around The Mall. Also at the same spot were a few dogs of Shimla, unconcerned by the hundred of humans walking nearby. These dogs were just lying motionless in the sun, sleeping off their afternoon away.
From The Mall we head back to the hotel room. From its balcony we observe one of the most stunning sunset views EVER! The fast changing hues and colors of the setting sun were a breathtaking sight to behold. After enjoying this delectable sunset we decide to head out into the Shimla night for a delicious dinner.
Our last dinner in Shimla is the delicious Himachali Thali called Mandyali Dham. We relax and enjoy our last meal in Shimla before heading to the bus station from where we would catch our overnight bus to Delhi. We relish a few last views of our journey with a heavy heart given our amazing Shimla trip was almost done. The bus stops midway where we enjoy a quick break and quick jaunt outside the bus before our rest of the overnight journey continues on.
We finally arrive in Delhi just in time for sunset. Our journey from the once summer capital of India started after witnessing a beautiful sunset and ended in the current capital of India just before a beautiful sunset in Delhi.
