Very informative.
I'm going to use this to build a base for some cubbies in a mudroom and top it with a Sapele bench. Betting I can do something similar as well for the top where the coats hang and a basket for gloves and hats.

It turned out very nice! Thank you for showing the process. One thing I would probably change would be to recess the drawer faces & have lower profile handles so whoever sleeps in the bed doesn't hit their shins/knees on the drawer faces or handles when they go to get into bed.

keep it up, john. Different youtube channels do things differently. I think you're right on. Some projects require a good dialogue and walk through to get that level of understanding. Other projects can just be put on high speed with no dialogue. I enjoy all of your content. Keep em coming!

Both beautiful and practical. The storage (divan) beds on sale have very small drawers, so much valuable storage space is lost. In contrast you have maximized the available space for storage. It is really a perfect bed. Thank you for a great, easy-to-follow video. Greetings from Ireland :)

HI Jon--as usual--AMAZING--I am learning sooooooo much from you--like take my time, slow, down, try not to hurry, etc.--my only problem is I am soooooo slow at woodworking now that if I go any slower I will be working backward--so my question to you is how do I go slow and take my time so I can be precise but not have a project take months for me to complete--keep up the GREAT work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish someone would manufacture the bead molding. I really like it. I was able to find 1/2" half round bead molding at home depot, but i think the 1/4" looks better.
