It honestly makes you wonder how anyone can sleep in conditions like that, man it's no wonder why you guys barely got any sleep but indeed from I can tell the views are awesome and it's even more awesome when you share those moments with that special someone. Totally worth it as you guys put it.
They do on long-distance Amtrak routes, like the Southwest Chief service taken by Nyanthelstan here. But while some can easily sleep in such bunk beds, I guess these two weren’t able to get comfortable enough for that with the train’s constant motion. Just like how some people can’t sleep well if at all on long-distance flights, even in first-class seating.
