Overall they nailed the styling. It is not that much different from the Interceptor and the Interceptor was really a huge success. In my opinion they made it more modern and comfortable, otherwise not really a more off-roadish bike. :) Will see.
I really love the Styling to especially the new paintjobs
@@FreeMilesMC Yes, me too. I think they are close to perfection with the paint. :)
When I first saw the Bear 650 my heart was touched. She is so beautiful, absolutely my style. I have 7 motorcycles in my garage, 2 of them are Royal Enfields (Classic 350 and Scram 411), but that Bear needs to be with me, too. Cheers from Germany and Glück🍀Auf aus Dortmund
How do you afford the insurance? 😭
Sounds like it perfectly Fits in your lineup ☺️
@@logangodofcandy Here in Germany, it is not so expensive and I have good contracts because of my 42 years without an accident. For all 7 motorbikes within Partial Comprehensive Insurance around 500 € for one year. Cheers from Germany
@@FreeMilesMC Yes, absolutely. Cheers from Germany
From the information available on paper , it's essentially a slightly better built and more torquey interceptor. They reinforced some joints, added new suspension and incresed the torque. The horsepower also increased but they capped it to keep their A2 market share. As for the exhaust, you got it right, they kept it lower to accomodate soft luggage.
Their decision to include a digital dash is as baffling as their decision to include integrated tail lights on an adv(something prone to dropping and losing bits).
Yes basically
For most people, the Bear now is the best all-rounder 650.
The new forks are huge improve, also the brakes!
I will buy it
I am very curius about the handeling ☺️
Thank you for this and all your other vids! Love the channel! Regards from Denmark
Initial reaction: Looks great, good price, love the USD forks.
After learning the specs: Disappointing they didn't make it a little more offroad capable. It would be fantastic to have around 150mm of travel. Also the seat seems rather high for so little travel/clearance. The Triumph Scrambler 1200x has the same seat height as this but with 170mm travel. :/
and the X is definitely not suitable for off-road. The XC and XE are.
Yes thats Kind of a bummer
I Hope i get to Ride that one one day
Bear going to be the perfect all rounder.
That thing is DOPE
Looking forward to the Guerrilla too.
The Guerilla is already out i will Rent one to make a Video about when i find a Place that rents them out
I own a Scram and am looking to add another bike. I was heading back to a big cruiser as that is what I was riding for 20 years, prior to getting the Scram. Now I am considering the Bear.
Having the Bears forks on an Interceptor involves a lot of expense. New fork braces will be needed because the upper diameter of the usd forks is larger. 👈 that might also include some head-scratching when comparing the steering angle as we don’t know if things were changed to allow the difference in the new 19“ front 🛞 which is also re-inforced on the Bear.
Fantastic professional presentation, looking forward to a test-ride,
Best wishes from Germany

Would love to know whether we'll be able to drop the 17 inch rear wheel into the interceptor. Would be much more cost effective way to do the rather popular 17 conversion.
Thats an intresting question too
I ride a cruiser as my main bike and have been looking to get a second bike just to distribute the miles onto another machine. I've always loved scrambler style bikes and my shortlist before was pretty much the Triumph lineup. Now I've got to decide between one of the Triumphs and this bike, all really good looking bikes that I'm sure will be a blast to ride
Also i feel like the Price is More comftable as i feel uncomfortable on a realy expensive bike do to worry of damage and scratches
@@FreeMilesMC I totally understand that, my cruiser is a Low Rider ST. It was very expensive lol, so I feel bad every time I have to ride it in the rain. Want to get a cheaper scrambler so I can have a bad weather bike, the Triumph 400x looks really cool as well and reasonably priced
I wont be selling my Euro4 Interceptor 650. I am not keen on Euro5. I prefer to make my own scrambler, which is is the spirit of scrambling anyway.
Main thing I would like to do is putting the bear wheels on my interceptor. I hope they havent changed any fittings or axle lengths. The overall wheel/tyre diameter looks to be the same on both bear wheels - so 1:1 like the interceptor, which gives me some hope. Even if there is a small difference between front and rear, i think there is enough play in the front forks for adjustment.
Personally i think upgrading to the upside down forks is unnecessary. I just want a Scrambler to travel all roads, no matter how bad, and some trails ... I'm not looking to do some sporty off roading, or pushing the limits - just looking to get from A to B.
However, if it's a possible mod for a reasonable expense - never say never, but it won't be a priority for me or i think most ordinary users. If you really want to push it off road, there might be better bikes.
Also, back to the wheels again, i noticed some of the indian youtube channels of indian motorcycle magazines claim that Royal Enfield are apparently working on spoked tubeless wheels. In the context of Bear 650. I certainly hope thats true. If swapping the wheels is a straight forward mod, and RE will eventually make some spoked tubeless option in 17/19 - i will be happy.
I Share your thoughts on wheels but now getting any Kind of 19 Inch Wheel registerd should be easyer wich is cool☺️
I like my Himalayan a lot , especially because of the ergonomic but would like the power of the 650cc. Do you think the Bear could be an option?
I think you would be sacrafising a lot of offroad rideabilety
I love teh look of the Bear--the INT650 engine is a peach but i didnt like the seat/brakes and tire choices withe the e18's--I will be test riding the Bear for sure and may also buy the HIMI450 for a travel bike on gravel roads...the Bear would be for road travel and daily rider. Many paved roads are in terrible shape with modern useless govts so more travel and better suspension is needed on road as well.
The hymalayan is also a really good choice ☺️
GREAT video! Thanks
Thanks for appretiating ☺️
It looks great, but just 3 colours come to Europe, The petrolgreen, the blackgold en the whitegreen (249). Not the yelow, not the white. I did like the yellow.
But anyhow, a great choice for mild adventures and let's be honest, that's only what most of us are capable off.
Like the white with blue seat
I Hope the one with the torqoise Color is coming to Europe
@@FreeMilesMC torqoise ? I guess you are talking about the new 650 classic.
Maybe I am off base, but I have always considered a scrambler to be a single cylinder for the sake of off-road traction. I thought they would do a scrambler version of the new Sherpa motor before scrambling a twin...
There is the Scram 411 atleast, that's a cute little bike.
Maybe the 411 is up your alley then☺️
The exhaust and the dash are the main downsides of this one for me, the exhaust you can swap for proper high pipes (for a pretty penny) but the dash will be a lot more effort to swap over, if that's even possible. The real bummer is that there are some spyshots of an interceptor with dual disc brakes, but it also has the digital screen. BMW has it as an option on the R nineT, you get to choose. I wish Royal Enfield and Triumph would do that too.
I can definitly understand that hohen that the digital clocks are there would be nice to have them as a Option
I am speculating that the digital dash equipped Interceptor is a liquid cooled 750cc bike, hence the dual front discs as well...
I’m surprised at how small the suspension travel upgrade is. I would have expected 6inches (152mm) front and back. Also, would have appreciated dual 18 inch wheel option.
I personally have a Ducati scrambler (which can be had for a bargain these days). The base duc scrambler is 60lbs lighter, has 30 more HP and has more suspension travel. However, the bottom of the bike is not cradle frame so it is harder to protect.
Oh, how mutch did you pay for the Ducati i am curius as i really like that one
@ $6,000 USD 2 years ago
That's pretty cheap, tbh. That said only the desert sled is really qualified for off road
Any scrambler shoud have 170mm or minimum 150mm. Honda Vigor has 170mm, BMW X country has 200mm, Honda CL500 has 1500mm. 130mm has Honda Cb 500 year '94. I personally am ashemed of Royal Enfield Choice. I allmost forget tp say. My Classic 350 '2024 has 130mm front suspension.
I agree Let’s See how the bike will do if i have the Chance to Review one☺️
Where did you get your front/back tyre's and what brand are they ?🤔
Man, everything is perfect about Bear 650 except the height ☹️
I’m 5’7” and I’m worried it won’t be comfortable for me while walking it in the traffic.
Sitting on it at the dealership is Most likely the way to go
yooooo. how did you manage to get your bike back from greece? haha
It is not yet back from Greece 😉. More coming on that soon
@@FreeMilesMC nice looking forward to it!
I am curios how it will stack up against the Triumph 900 scrambler.
Me too
Just looking at the seat makes my butt numb😂
Love your build on your interceptor. Do you have a list of the upgrades you’ve put on it? Really loving the headlight and fender
Maybe i will change the front Break system from my Inter650 to the Bear system. Cause since i have my inter650 from 2019 the Front Break is wobeling and no RE Shop can fix it.
The bile behind you is not Bear 650
A big hit....
Way too heavy for trails if you consider the weight to power ratio.
It's a soft offroader.
216kg? Way too heavy
Could be i will know more on that when i get my Hands on one☺️
Clickbait
This is just clickbate... Don't review a bike because you saw a picture of it....
It’s Not a Review i will Review the bike when i get the Chance
@JL
no clickbait !
he has a interceptor 650, he explains it at the beginning and he compares the Bear specs with his Srambler customized Interceptor.
