Just an idea, how about a thrifting back edition where you actually go thru items thrifted and bought that you are no longer attached to? It can be freeing to release items and makes room for different items that show up. Giving back allows the thrift store to provide for its programs, if it does that, with those given items going to other homes and generates a feeling of charity at this time of the year. A win win.

Nice finds .Your plate ,I went to a tea party in a Victorian house they had a little thrift store next door.I bought a grape vine wreath with some antique clip on skates attached for $5 I was so pleased with it .I looked in the glass cabinet and saw two sets of China.I noticed one set which was in the same pattern as your plate .There was the full set for $50 but it has been reduced to $40 ,I didn’t have enough cash on me so a friend lent me the money .There was even the little salt and pepper pots too .a great bargain .

When my styrofoam berries get chipped...I get gel nail polish that closely matches to touch them up! Dollar General or WalMart sells the gel nailcor at reasonable prices.

You are a girl after my own heart. Anything velvet, antique toys, postcards, albums from those years, the first pillow and most Favorite…that purse… Omgosh…it’s stunning! You may want to place some of your tassels on the switch of your lamps. I have mine on my lamps , they display beautifully and it directs your straight to the light switch instead of fumbling to find it in the dark. Can’t wait to see all your beauties displayed.

I think you got a wonderful haul/ stash! We must be on the same wavelength. I too am doing a vintage themed toy inspired tree- a small one as I have been collecting little finds for it. My big focal point tree is typically a mush mosh of all my nostalgic ornaments but I feel the urge to do something different that excites me- so I’m doing a musical theme. Lucky that we are a family of musicians so I have plenty of them. I scored some really cool brass horns at an estate sale and I have sheet music roses left over from my son’s wedding. I was hoping you said you were doing one too when you showed the violin and music cards! I would have loved to see your version of it. My sister does professional Xmas decor and the trend seems to be themed trees with really large ornaments. I’m excited to try something different and am excited to see what you have in store for us!❤ That dark burgundy red looks so lush! Happy decorating!😍
