I have changed hundreds of those through out my career ( 2wd & 4wd). I had to hammer the crap out of them to get them off. Pennsylvania rust buckets. You know, you used to live here. Very good info video.
Barry, the torque spec for the caliper bolts should be 2 grunts and a fart 😁 Super easy description showing how anyone with the proper tools can complete a job like this. Ur always helping, good job !
I've just replaced the steering knuckles, hubs, struts, drop links, tie rods, track rod ends on my 2006 81,000 miles Ford Fiesta ST, on the driveway.. Satisfying to do without needing a lift! Rust also not a problem generally here in southern UK.. Thanks for all your videos Barry..
Dam Barry, that was too easy. Having relocated from Jersey to Virginia last year, I can appreciate the lack of rust on vehicles down here. Up in Jersey that's an all day job and using oxy torches lol.
Nice job. Usually the bearing noise is apparent before it does goofy stuff. Every car should have bolt on hubs like that but many have gone to press in bearings now.
Its a good video but I did see the difference in the hub and the right size Bearing I suppose original equipment is needed at a higher price its all politically motivated
