About 3 months after his passing I had such a vivid dream that he came back for one night to catch up on some shit and get closure. I woke up in a cold sweat and then ironically first song on my shuffle was this one. “I felt your ghost tonight… and God, it felt so real.”

I remember shedding tears when I first popped Neighborhoods in and heard this song, still in absolute sheer disbelief that Blink-182 was back. Now with them coming back again, after Mark's cancer scare and seeing all of them so happy and rejuvenated, it hits 10 times harder.
This song was written in 2004 when blink were still together for their original run. Also, the reason it sounds good is because Tom's mic is auto tuned.

I've listened to them since Cheshire Cat and this is the best they've sounded since forever. They were more serious about the music with neighborhoods, but not this serious. They actually sound like professionals. It just feels right seeing them together again.

So, I was listening to Tom talk about this song once. I loved the song but when I learned what the message was in the song, I loved it even more. Tom said the idea behind the song is that you're getting to see your loved ones you've lost over the years on the dance floor and you're dancing with their ghosts. And it's like you're stuck in that moment of time with them. It's almost like our memories of our loved ones don't ever go away. And it would be really cool if you could meet all of their ghosts on the dance floor and just dance with them.

For years I despised Neighborhoods. Nowadays it's in my 3 favorite Blink albums ever. What a masterpiece. This song shows it in spades.

Sound was already great on the tour ten years ago. Tom sings better now and they use a bit more autotune
