One of the greatest gigs I've ever had the privilege of seeing, and fortunately managed to see both Manchester shows. What a way to start a show, incredible night ❤
it´s mostly a british thing i believe... at the primavera festivel in barcelona (which was like 60% attended by brits) it happened constantly but I´ve never seen that happen in germany
@@Gollas4k yeah I just seen a TSSF show in Portugal I believe where they sang the riffs so it’s definitely not just a British thing but it probably started there
DANG - the palm muting on those verses is STILL amazing when tom does it in this song like he did originally, all down strokes while singing at that BPM, amazing. Not up and down, but all down strokes, it sounds so good!
It's a great point but wrong. He is ABSOLUTELY doing up and down strokes. The lights are flashing a lot, but it's total up and down strokes. Watch his hand very closely, you can literally see him doing up and down strokes. If you are a guitar player, go ahead, grab your guitar, and try to play downstrokes during that, you'd have to be a robot. If you don't believe me, why would Tom play the chorus with open notes still strumming up and down?
206bpm is obvi hard to downstroke consistently but to say you need to be a robot to pull it off is a little excessive lol I think he was coming more along the lines of playing a live show. Sitting in a bedroom, with a little practice, most should be able to grasp the downstrokes at that tempo
I’ve seen them 11 times since 1998. It’s amazing what auto tune and backing tracks have done for Tom. It’s seems like he’s an OK musician at this point!😂
Just saw them yesterday in Mexico City. Apparently, Mark was not feeling well in his throat. Nonetheless, they absolutely kicked ass and got through the show without any problem
I mean, they hadn't put out an album since that kid was in elementary school but, maybe those kids will get hooked on Blink bc of this new album which I think is their best.
It'll be an intro click on in ear monitors. If you watch any footage from this tour, Tom never plays the guitar part of Ghost on the Dance Floor but it's still there & there's a bunch of synth/etc that plays over songs. They're definitely playing to pre-recorded stuff/layers.

Literally teared up at this! Never ever thought i would see them on stage together again!
Me too. I was inconsolable. Absolutely the best I've ever seen them perform too.
I love how European audiences sing the riffs that shit goes hard idc what anyone says

We've been doing it for ages and ages in Argentinian crowds.
Brazil does that too. Cool, we're all making concerts epic around the world!
The best moment was seeing Mark Hoppus return to using his old pink Bass.. 😢
And hoping that Tom uses his turquoise green Fender.

Do you mean this guitar?
And me hoping Tom buy back his Macbeth company. 😢@@R1453M
Holy shit, that’s the best view possible.

Same with dysentery Gary. Always gets me lol

This was the best night of my liiiiffe!!! I lost my voice and still haven’t gotten it back 🤟
Blink-182 will do that to you with all their awesome songs
Have you now gotten it back?
You better go find it!
where were you sitting/standing? I was at the back seats
This is one of my favourite fan vids. Amazing view ❤
I love blink so much that i wished i could sing like tom. I think my wish has been granted. Oh my... I still love them no matter what.
Tom delonge 🤘🏻
I saw them a few days prior in London and they were so amazing. I saw them once before in 2014, but they were way better this time around.

Did you see them at the O2? I saw them that night and they were insane.
@@Johnny5IzAlive Yes, they did a couple of shows at the O2. I went on 11.10.
間違いない!最高!
haha i love how Tom has adopted the Anthony Kiedis robot dance.
Mark: ✌🏼✌🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Tom: 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼

That day was my birthday 🥲

Good to see them happy epic

On Christmas, I asked a 16 year old relative if Blink 182 is still popular with high schoolers. He said "Is that a radio station?"
They’re uncultured

@@avbanig29 I don't think that's any excuse. Kurt Cobain died before I even started elementary school. Yet Nirvana was big when I was in high school.
@@grd4565 Kirk Cobain killing himself, Dave Grohl forming Foo Fighters has something to do with that as well. Cobain is a martyr.

Mo phockers🎉
Awesome night 😊 I was there with a friend of mine and my 17 😊 year old son Harry 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

What's the title of the intro?
Also sprach Zarathustra better known as theme to the movie 2001.
There’s a sick funk version of it that phish covers. Just search phish 2001.
How do they count that in so perfectly without looking...
They've probably got an intro click in their in ear monitors. Many live artists are using laptops with sequencers and all sorts these days.
Gotcha. Makes sense. It's beat perfect. Thank you.

They are Aliens
BROTHERLY LOVE
What video camera do you use?
Dancinha do Junior Groovador kkkkkkkkkkk
i wonder who tom was flipping off
How can he switched from clean to dirty sound without pressing the pedal ? 😂
I'd lose my shit if that was my view
Missed out gutted so sad maybe next time 😢
🤔
Guitsr sound doesn't match what Tom is playing. There's even some audible pick scratch thrice in the song that he's visibly not doing.
what happened to Tom's voice?
