As a PC user I've been curious to see how the game works on Apple computers and I'm just excited to know that we can all play this awesome game. Good video!

I'm happy that it finally works on Mac. And i will try to get it working with an eGPU and hopefully they support it moving forward so i don't have to use bootcamp anymore.

Is it fine to continue playing while laptop is hot? My MacBook Pro 2017 gets too hot and it scares me so I stop playing lol

I know it's a huge long shot, but any chance you could test if ExitLag is able to run somehow (Emulated I guess?) and able to interact with the FFXIV on the Mac OS itself to improve latency on servers? I don't have a Mac to test/tinker with but I so badly want to switch and not being able to use ExitLag is literally the last thing preventing me from switching.

How does it play on a 13” one from same year model? 14 is what I️ mostly play. I️ play on the PS4. But I’d like to use my computer once in a while? But I️ dont want to use the money if it’s not worth it?

What controller do you use with MBP and XIV? PS4 gamepad? Does that setup need additional programs to be installed?

On Windows you should be able to get 60fps mostly.
The Mac version uses Wine which makes the performance suffer by almost the half.
Hey buddy! I tried to use my fellow gamepad (XBOX ONS s) to play the game but FFXIV does not recognized it at all... It's properly paired withe the mac and works fine with other games but not FFXIV... any idea that could help me? Thanks in advance

What about the sound? I want to keep it as quiet as possible so should I rock lowest settings?

Hi. I just started playing this game and I only have a Mac. I can't find any information on keyboard commands for Mac. For instance, how do I talk to NPCs and get quests with a Mac? There are no left and right mouse buttons. Most other games allow for command clicks or something like that but I just can't figure out how to make this work. Can you help?
Two finger tap? You may want to try different mouse gestures if you're using the apple mice or track pad. If not using a mouse, try one that has a right click
you were probably better off getting a portable gpu and less storage

Yes it is!! I play on ps4 with friends that have pc :)
