Hey! I really appreciate you watching and subscribing to the channel. Really helps for the overall growth of the channel! Be sure to let me know should you have any questions and I’ll do my best to help out 👍🏾
Honestly, I’m actually impressed by it. It seems the company improved on their existing mics. There are still pros to using an XLR mic however, but for quick plug and play everyday use? I think it’s good for that. Hope you’re doing well by the way !
Hey Thanks for watching ! No, it does not come with an adaptor. It operates as a USB. So as long as your computer has a USB port, it will be fine. Hope I answered your question ?
One of the great things about USB mics is that they don’t need phantom power. Simply have to plug them in, then you’re ready to go. No phantom power needed. In my opinion, I find the mic to be a really good budget option! The mic sounds great and it comes with useful accessories that are of good quality. The mic itself is very solid. Nice metal construction. Lastly, thank you for subscribing and supporting the growth of the channel, wouldn’t be what it is without viewers like yourself 👍🏾
So I just measured and it’s at least 2 inches. Hope this helps and feel free to let me know if you have any other questions. Please use the links in the description as this supports the channel should you decide on wanting to make a purchase. Thanks !
Just looked on the Amazon listing and it indicates it’s not compatible with the PS4. They sometimes make mistakes with the listing so I’ll try it out and let you know! Thanks for watching 😉
Cheddr Hey! I actually just tried to adjust the volume in audacity and I also realized that the gain wasn’t controlabe. This is something I didn’t notice before , however , there is a solution. I’ve been using software called APO equalizer and Peace on my Audio interface to add live eq adjustments, it works well and will also work on the USB mic. It not only allows you to control volume but also the various eq frequencies. Take a look at the bottom of this article, it has the setup instructions ! Let me know if you have any question 👍🏾. Link:www.pcsteps.com/15528-windows-10-driver-causes-low-volume-usb-microphone/
Also as an update, I also tried the mic on some other software (OBS) and it was effective in lowering and increasing the volume. So it seems that If you’re using the mic with other software, it should be able to control the volume levels. Audacity volume levels seem to be based on windows driver which seems to not allow this volume control but In either case, the software APO equalizer with Peace will rectify any issues 👍🏾👍🏾!
Hello, unfortunately, this mic is not compatible with Xbox, but you can use the zingyou zy-007 or similar mic setups. To do this you will need a mic and headphone splitter adaptor (Y-Splitter). The ZIngyou zy-007 comes with an xlr to 3.5 mm jack (TS) if you plug that directly into the controler, it won’t work, so the Y-splitter would separate the mic and headphone signal so you can then connect the mic. Then adjust the settings then you should be good to go. I haven’t tried this myself so I can’t comment on how this sounds on the Xbox, but you can see the review of the Zingyou zy-007 on my channel to see how it sounds on PC. Here is a link of an example of a y splitter adaptor:UGREEN Headset Adapter Audio Splitter 3.5mm Male to 2 Female (4 Pin to 2x3 Pin) Headphone Mic Audio Y Splitter Cable with Separate Headphone Microphone Jacks 0.65ft (Black) www.amazon.ca/dp/B073ZCWDZY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_yf25FbQWVVVBJ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Hey! Personally, I liked the sound the mic created. It was sufficiently loud and had a pretty low noise floor. My only critique is that it can be a little sensitive so if you touch the mic stand while using it, the microphone will pick it up. Other than that, I was fairly pleased. The setup was extremely easy as well. Thank you for checking out the video by the way 👍🏾
Also check out my video where I give basic tips for editing your microphone recordings using Audacity (free software) and Premiere Pro. I think having that knowledge can compliment the process in getting your desired sound 👍🏾
@@GoWrightReviews Thanks for the response but is the Zingyou zy-007 compatable with ps4 and if not please list some good budget mics compatible with ps4, Thank you!
The Fifine t669 is actually advertised as being functional with PlayStation 4. It’s a good mic as long as you don’t turn the gain up too high. I like the Fifine k678 better because it has more features but it doesn’t explicitly say whether it works with PS4 although, I feel like it would if the Fifine T669 does. A review of both mics are on my channel if needed!
You have an excellent speaking voice for sound testing.

I was going to suggest the equalizer APO but it should work. Maybe try to make sure you set the mic as an input device as opposed to output
I bought this same microphone brand and model for audio recording after watching this. Thank you for this useful review! 1 happy subscriber here

Nice sound, but no zero latency monitoring? That's really a must-have for USB mics.
I would have to agree with you there!

How can you turn the mic volume down.
That will be controlled within the platform you’re using or in your operating system. So basically your settings 👍🏾
