Beautiful projects and happy to find your podcast as sugestion on youtube. I also love to make knitting podcast episodes, it feel so nice to share this beautiful craft with other people. Regards, Maria
Great work. Beautiful projects. I’m 75 life long knitter but this summer I’ve taken the plunge and I’m on sock pair number 5. Never thought I could manage tiny needles but they are stress free and so fun. I’ve seen those lavender socks too and now you have inspired me to try them 🌻
I 'found 'you in the early hours when I couldn't sleep ! I agree with previous comments about the rib band. It needs at least 2 more rows and personally, I always prefer 2x2 ribbing . At 82, I may be one of your oldest watchers but I admire the way you tackle ambitious projects and particularly like your Poet top. I am not sure if I would have the patience to knit the Bookclub cardigan. I have seen it on other people's podcasts and the cables are amazing. Well done you . Greetings from South Wales, UK.
Lovely projects! I’m happy to have discovered your channel. I just started knitting sweaters after a lifetime of knitting small things-hats/socks. Cheers from Washington ❤
I love the poet patterns by Sari N. I’ve made the poet socks and now after seeing your poet sweater I’m going to have to make the sweater as well!😊 Your choice of patterns look lovely on you! And I would make the band a lil wider. Happy knitting ❤
Excellent podcast. I too love Sari Nordlund - I've knitted 2 of her cabled sweaters. You are an excellent problem solver. I've learned a lot from hearing your challenges and how you have overcome them. The lavender field socks are so cute and I do have that book. I think your color substitutions appear to be spot on. I may copy🙂
Hey 😊I personally would make the button band wider if you have the spare yarn 🧶 I made the same mistake, and others podcasters too, on the colour work cuff club socks 😮 You could always over dye the book club cardigan? Maybe try a swatch first. I did find Nepal yarn grows! Anyway hi from England 🏴 nice to watch your podcast 🥰😊 happy knitting Kim
I think you’re right. I think it does need to be wider. And I’m glad I’m not the only one about the colorwork socks…sounds like a learning curve for a lot of people! And very good to know about Drops Nepal! Thank you for watching. ❤
I enjoy your podcasts 🥰🥰🥰. Just an fyi redheads were meant to wear hot pink, pink, red, etc. Whoever says otherwise they just don't want for redheads to reach their full potential. I have A LOT to say on that topic 🤣🤣.
Great podcast! I am adding a couple sweaters to my queue now 😊 The Farnham sweater looks great on you, I love that shoulder detail. Thanks for the tips on the neck. I think you should add 2 more rows to your button band on your Kaleidoscope cardigan. Since your stitch tension is tighter, you are probably getting a tighter row gauge as well. So with the same number of rows knit, you get less depth (height). It’s nice when designers say to knit to a certain length instead of the number of rows :) I think your yarn colour for your Book Club Cardigan looked great when you held it up to your face. As a natural redhead 👩🦰 (me too) any colour with some warmth in it just helps increase our inner/outer sparkle 😊 We can wear whatever we want, some colours just make us sparkle more :) I was totally distracted your whole podcast, I could see myself in you, you would totally be mistaken for my daughter 😮 Do you have any Finnish blood in you? I have been told that is my “look”, my grandmother was Finnish. Have a great day.
@@TRaceTK thank you so much for watching and for your response! Thank you for the advice. And that’s so sweet of you to say! ❤️ As far as I know, I’m not sure about having Finnish ancestors, but it could be a possibility! Perhaps someday I’ll get a dna genetics test. 😊
