I love your channel it’s great to have a Aussie with a fantastically explained DIY channel.
Your channel is exactly what I’m looking for my first new property (Brisbane) make overs. I have used so many of your videos in the last 5 months to learn how to do DIY jobs.
Trying to do all the work myself or in a friends working-be. (Excluding electrical and pluming need specialists for this.)

You need to hang the panels before applying all the screws. This simplifies the adjustments. Start by fastening only the two side screws at the top then you slide the bottom back and forth until the panels close smoothly

great work are they the recessed or flush fitted shutters

They are recessed with an attached casing/architrave around it which actually tie everything in much better than having to seal/caulk any gaps around it👍

The backside of the passthrough is open. You can see the shins and the gaps. A piece of molding would be applied there since it is between two rooms
