I've never been good at socializing. Yet, this semester in college, I dedicated the last 2 months to socializing. I went from depressed to bringing positivity to my brothers, friends, and workmates. I've learned that you have to listen first in order to get, and participate in what they like in order to maintain. I've learned that laughter and curiosity is what brings people together regardless of history. This next coming year, I hope to learn how to find solutions for other negative parts of myself.

It might sound cheesy. But if I am being honest the thing I put the most time into learning this year was myself. I took a look deep inside to figure out what it is I really want in this life. What kinds of things will bring me the most personal value. This pursuit has led me to being the happiest and healthiest of my life. In this next year I want to go get a field guide for Birds, those little animals have caught my interest more and more. Also push myself to understand language and the beauty of words more to help continue pursuing my creativity.

16:00 My favorite experience of this year for me. I will say working with my father together on our first short film. That was released for a competition and we were nominated one first place. as a 17 year old although it was a lot, I did still learned so much from them moments; like taking on a directors role or getting the feel of how that career will feel like, give the fact that that’s what I want my career to be and also just a bonding time with my father as a whole. There’s many other things I learned this year, but that’s a big highlight of mines!
I learned so much about the way the mind works, not only my mind but also others. I have been able to observe and understand the phycology of people more. I have learned that getting out of my comfort zone isn't as uncomfortable after all and that I should do it more often. I have learned how to organise my life and reduce my consumption of short form content. Next year I hope to eliminate all short form content and the urge to reach for my phone when faced with a difficult task. I also am looking forward to growing closer to nature and myself. I was really excited to learn how music is produced and how I can do it myself. I fell in love with Hip-hop quite a while ago, and I started to be a beat-maker in February. I wasn't consistent at all, I was all over the place and very inconsequent with myself. But my life has changed ever since I discovered myself more, I started to look into the far, not only seeking the pleasure something gave me that ruined me in the long run. I never felt this alive and I feel like I am glowing and floating through life and Shimon Davis has gave me incredibly valuable knowledge and I am incredibly thankful for that. I am now making beats consistently I feel good about it, I fell in love with the process, my equipment tweaking knobs to get the sound I prefer and shit, man its lovely! This year I learned how to do pull ups. I started being curious by march and in September 10th I decided to do 50 pull ups a day. It’s day 89 I think and i’m still doing it. It feels good to be consistent and I’ve already done 4400 and that seems crazy to me. Next year I wanna focus on producing music. Difficult world but with so much to learn. PA boy here. Only thing keeping me going is doing shit i did when i was in my teens. And hunting deer. The process. Tracking on some public land alone, harvesting a deer, getting the meat, making the hide into a blanket, keeping the sinew (fiborous tissue in the animals legs) to make into string for another hobby, clothing repair. These things keep me humble. In tune with the earth and the natural cycle of things. Taking a deer, but ustilizing all of its life, burying the few remains back to mother earth...theres somthing there for me. A peace. A fuel. I cry everytime. With joy and true connection. ive been watching you for 2 or 3 months now. This is my first time commenting but i truly want to thank you because you have taught me things thats have truly stabilized my mind and emotions more in previous situations i would usually be stressed in. My skill or thing ive been sticking to is doing calisthenic workouts every other day so that i dont overdo it and quit, one of the reasons i would quit repeatedly is it would get cold and i wouldnt wanna walk to my nearest rec center that had a gym, but now im pushing to be someone in control and have self control and be someone who isnt afraid to take risks that will better me and be someone who puts myself first, results may not be seen yet but i will see them soon and you taught me to remember its not just about the goal either but sometimes appreciating the journey that leads to the goal. you truly are an amazing man Shimon and i will push myself to be better as best as i can.
This year I really improved my musical ear by transcribing every song/chord/lick I wanted to learn, got so far as to coming really close to having relative pitch. Compared to the start of this year, I’ve gotten to be a lot more confident whilst playing the piano. I tried starting a jazz band, at some point my bandmates were too busy with school to do music, so I’m back on my own, but I’m glad I got to experience this. I’ll also try starting one again at some point. I’ve also tried two different educations (A.I. and Mechanical Engineering) but ended up working fulltime in software development which I enjoy much more. Thanks!
This year, I have learned a considerable amount of music theory from playing guitar. I started playing guitar September 4th of 2023 and sometimes I think I am not progressing much and that I should be way better than I currently am but when I look at old videos of me practicing, I noticeably see the difference in my skill. I am even able to kind of play solos on my own (even though they are simple pentatonic scales). Next year I'm gonna start learning bass guitar but first I need to save up some money. I am looking forward to starting my bass guitar journey soon. Playing guitar has also helped me a bit mentally because before when I was bored, I would just do nothing at all and sit in my room but thank god a series of events caused me to learn guitar.

And another thing I want to learn is more about life, its rules, its experiences, things that is has, whats hidden, things like these. I would also like to learn more about different ways I can sing or different notes I can hit so its not repetitive and different things I can say. With that, another thing I learned was dont be afraid to get out my comfort zone. Dont be afraid to say or do certain things just because its out of the ordinary for me or other people. I learned and am still learning to be my own person and how to be my own person. Just building off everything that I know.
i've tired learning google ads with a very good work ethic. but soon i realised that it was the wrong thing to do according to daniel fazio a agency owner who initially started google ads but he shut the agency or community off and i cannot learn it anymore.not only that he said that it was the wrong thing to focus on becasue its extreamly challanging and difficult to get clients. so i had to started something else to learn. now i feel kind of demotivated but grateful at the same time becasue i learned important thing instead even tho he said that was the wrong thing to focus on. i learned how to focus 6 hours a day with no distraction, i learned how to ignore the distractions and fully be on the learning. i accomplished work ethic which i think is more imporant than the actual course. thank you
Hey bro been watching you for awhile. I've always wasnted to learn spanish but I never took it seriously/made excuses. Ive stopped doing that so Im putting serious energy into it. I've always wanted to edit so I made a conscious effort to edit some videos and learn these platforms that I am using 1 day at a time (Been posting for about 100 days now) I always wanted to build my dream body so I picked up and stayed with the hobbies of boxing, climbing, on top of working out. Most consistent Ive ever been I also wanted to learn guitar since I was a kid, but I made excuses for myself again. Now I started taking lessons with one of my homies, and while its not a lot, its more effort than Ive put than before so I cant wait to see how far I come 2024 is a great year for me, had a lot of hardships and came closer to god. 2025 is going to be even better.
I started college this year, software engineering. None of my highschool friends chose the same as me, so my first challenge was socializing. Turns out on my first day i met one of my current best friends of all time, she has helped me in so many ways and I’m grateful i came out of my shell to talk to her in the first place
The biggest thing I learned was stuff about myself, all because of the porn addiction I quit on dec.27th of last year. I learned that i get attached too fast, but started reading literature and learned when i analyse and do interpretations i get a free head and poems help me be ok with things cause the shit im struggling with a poet in the medieval ages struggled with similiar.
This year I learned how to sew a simple dress. I learned about Jesus and read the full book of John. This year that’s coming I want to learn how to artistic skate and just dance in quads in general. I want to learn more about God by reading more and I want to learn to dance, to talk more articulately and build social skills. I want to be a better version of myself than I was this year.
This year i tried to learn guitar and piano but am successfully failing in the consistency, but still trying when i have time. Next year i want to get better at these two things........ i also learned this year how important it is to grow and that i want to grow in many things and not dwell in depression in one place, and if necessary, try new things because i still dont know where ill end up and i want to see what i can get good at and enjoy, so this is my goal, to just learn and find myself.
The past year I've learned that to be more aligned with myself I need to let things pan out as they will, to let the Universe carry out its will and to know that good things are always right around that corner, even if I can't see them now. Next year I'd like to relearn guitar though haha
This year, I spent a lot of time trying to rebuild self-trust and self-love. It is very very slow and only now is it really starting to pick up tbh. However, I finally quit pornography this month which is by far my biggest achievement to date. I wish I would have taken more time this year to learn about discipline and how to be more consistent. Next year (and now) I plan on learning more about that and I plan to develop my skills in content creation. By the way I must say, that ending was 🔥🔥🔥

After going through acl and meniscus surgery and not being able to play the sport i love, made me realize how much it really means to me and i also realized that i can get through everything by myself

This year I learned how to do pull ups. I started being curious by march and in September 10th I decided to do 50 pull ups a day. It’s day 89 I think and i’m still doing it. It feels good to be consistent and I’ve already done 4400 and that seems crazy to me. Next year I wanna focus on producing music. Difficult world but with so much to learn. This year i learned a lot in a spiritual and mental sense. I learned a more deeper connection with nature. I learned not to go back to someone who did not have respect for me. I started to play the harmonica recently as well. Thank you for helping me and so many others in this journey of life. PA boy here. Only thing keeping me going is doing shit i did when i was in my teens. And hunting deer. The process. Tracking on some public land alone, harvesting a deer, getting the meat, making the hide into a blanket, keeping the sinew (fiborous tissue in the animals legs) to make into string for another hobby, clothing repair. These things keep me humble. In tune with the earth and the natural cycle of things. Taking a deer, but ustilizing all of its life, burying the few remains back to mother earth...theres somthing there for me. A peace. A fuel. I cry everytime. With joy and true connection. This year I learned that you can’t make everyone accept you and that you must save yourself I learned that if you not focus on yourself you lose yourself you can’t make everybody around you happy and that I need to focus on healing my myself my inner mind I learned that I have to take more accountability on taking care of myself and having self control and being more discipline because I would lack a lot on learning self discipline and challenging myself to try new things that’s what I would lack on a lot to make better decisions to help change my life for the better so this year I want to simply focus on bettering my self and make me happy I owe myself the biggest apology next year I will make a change for myself I want the best version of me in 2025 I’ve been letting myself down too long dawg🤦🏾♂️💯❤‼️

ive been watching you for 2 or 3 months now. This is my first time commenting but i truly want to thank you because you have taught me things thats have truly stabilized my mind and emotions more in previous situations i would usually be stressed in. My skill or thing ive been sticking to is doing calisthenic workouts every other day so that i dont overdo it and quit, one of the reasons i would quit repeatedly is it would get cold and i wouldnt wanna walk to my nearest rec center that had a gym, but now im pushing to be someone in control and have self control and be someone who isnt afraid to take risks that will better me and be someone who puts myself first, results may not be seen yet but i will see them soon and you taught me to remember its not just about the goal either but sometimes appreciating the journey that leads to the goal. you truly are an amazing man Shimon and i will push myself to be better as best as i can.
This year I really improved my musical ear by transcribing every song/chord/lick I wanted to learn, got so far as to coming really close to having relative pitch.
Compared to the start of this year, I’ve gotten to be a lot more confident whilst playing the piano.
I tried starting a jazz band, at some point my bandmates were too busy with school to do music, so I’m back on my own, but I’m glad I got to experience this. I’ll also try starting one again at some point.
I’ve also tried two different educations (A.I. and Mechanical Engineering) but ended up working fulltime in software development which I enjoy much more.

This year, I have learned a considerable amount of music theory from playing guitar. I started playing guitar September 4th of 2023 and sometimes I think I am not progressing much and that I should be way better than I currently am but when I look at old videos of me practicing, I noticeably see the difference in my skill. I am even able to kind of play solos on my own (even though they are simple pentatonic scales). Next year I'm gonna start learning bass guitar but first I need to save up some money. I am looking forward to starting my bass guitar journey soon. Playing guitar has also helped me a bit mentally because before when I was bored, I would just do nothing at all and sit in my room but thank god a series of events caused me to learn guitar.
Love you too man❤. This year I learned a lot. But one thing that comes to mind is how to build a stronger mindset and my why. And another thing I want to learn is more about life, its rules, its experiences, things that is has, whats hidden, things like these. I would also like to learn more about different ways I can sing or different notes I can hit so its not repetitive and different things I can say. With that, another thing I learned was dont be afraid to get out my comfort zone. Dont be afraid to say or do certain things just because its out of the ordinary for me or other people. I learned and am still learning to be my own person and how to be my own person. Just building off everything that I know.
i've tired learning google ads with a very good work ethic. but soon i realised that it was the wrong thing to do according to daniel fazio a agency owner who initially started google ads but he shut the agency or community off and i cannot learn it anymore.not only that he said that it was the wrong thing to focus on becasue its extreamly challanging and difficult to get clients. so i had to started something else to learn. now i feel kind of demotivated but grateful at the same time becasue i learned important thing instead even tho he said that was the wrong thing to focus on. i learned how to focus 6 hours a day with no distraction, i learned how to ignore the distractions and fully be on the learning. i accomplished work ethic which i think is more imporant than the actual course. thank you

I also wanted to learn guitar since I was a kid, but I made excuses for myself again. Now I started taking lessons with one of my homies, and while its not a lot, its more effort than Ive put than before so I cant wait to see how far I come
2024 is a great year for me, had a lot of hardships and came closer to god. 2025 is going to be even better.
I started college this year, software engineering. None of my highschool friends chose the same as me, so my first challenge was socializing. Turns out on my first day i met one of my current best friends of all time, she has helped me in so many ways and I’m grateful i came out of my shell to talk to her in the first place

The biggest thing I learned was stuff about myself, all because of the porn addiction I quit on dec.27th of last year. I’ve been able to figure out what things I like with just certain words and I’ve opened up my mind to new things, like rock climbing, that’s really fun. But thank you for that one video. This year was an incredible one!
Loved your video man, I just recently learn to start singing and have vastly improved in a short amount of time. I also tweaked my music production skills throughout this year which I am proud of. I learned that i get attached too fast, but started reading literature and learned when i analyse and do interpretations i get a free head and poems help me be ok with things cause the shit im struggling with a poet in the medieval ages struggled with similiar.
This year I learned how to sew a simple dress. I learned about Jesus and read the full book of John. This year that’s coming I want to learn how to artistic skate and just dance in quads in general. I want to learn more about God by reading more and I want to learn to dance, to talk more articulately and build social skills. I want to be a better version of myself than I was this year.
This year i tried to learn guitar and piano but am successfully failing in the consistency, but still trying when i have time. Next year i want to get better at these two things........ i also learned this year how important it is to grow and that i want to grow in many things and not dwell in depression in one place, and if necessary, try new things because i still dont know where ill end up and i want to see what i can get good at and enjoy, so this is my goal, to just learn and find myself.
One wisdom person told me "make peace with the past, don't worried about the future and live every moment"
The past year I've learned that to be more aligned with myself I need to let things pan out as they will, to let the Universe carry out its will and to know that good things are always right around that corner, even if I can't see them now. Next year I'd like to relearn guitar though haha

This year, I spent a lot of time trying to rebuild self-trust and self-love. It is very very slow and only now is it really starting to pick up tbh. However, I finally quit pornography this month which is by far my biggest achievement to date. I wish I would have taken more time this year to learn about discipline and how to be more consistent. Next year (and now) I plan on learning more about that and I plan to develop my skills in content creation.

This year, I've learned how to play badminton, I have learned the basics of ASL, and emotionally, I've learned to not depend on anybody but myself.
