      I remember the 90s being all about going extreme. There was more of a party and club scene, and beaches were busier. More people did stuff after work and pretty much every weekend. People were constantly on the go burning the candle at both ends.

      @godaistudios 2 месяца назад +2

      @@guessthesong207 My only argument on the criteria is if most of it was in the 80s, then it probably shouldn't be on here. Mind you, I grew up with these. For example, The Golden Girls and Cheers. Most of it came out during the 80s. It never screams "90s" because of when the shows were established. There are shifts in fashion, comedy, and other sensibilities. There's a vibe and atmosphere to them. I think if it started in the late 80s but was something that dominated the 90s, by all means.
      It's just that parts of these, while nostalgic, feel off.

    • @axlefoley6330
      @axlefoley6330 Месяц назад +1

      I gotta agree, shows like cheers, wonder years, golden girls, Cosby show, don’t really scream 90s to me. Then again there are shows that established themselves in the 80s but I associate more with the 90s like Roseanne.

    • @godaistudios
      @godaistudios Месяц назад

      @@axlefoley6330 I'd have to give a pass to The Wonder Years. It started in 88, but ended in 93, so most of it did air during the 90s. The Wonder Years doesn't scream anything but late 60s/early 70s because it's set in that time period.

      It also wasn't syndicated originally due to low overall ratings, but was after the marginal commercial success of the Matthew Broderick movie. And it had better ratings in its syndicated run. So, in that sense, it was a 90s show.

    • @LightningSt0rm
      @LightningSt0rm 3 месяца назад

      @@mattwms8 The Matthew Broderick movie was released in July 1999. Even if syndication was immediately after it still in the last half of 1999 that's hardly a 90s show.
