I’m having a Mandela Effect moment. I swear those were called “sock’em boppers” not “socker boppers”
Lol! No you’re not. They used to be called Sock Em’ Boppers but they got sued by Mattel for infringement on their toy Rock Em’ Sock Em’ Robots. Instead of going to court and wasting money knowing Mattel was a much bigger company and would surely win, Big Time Toys just changed the name to Socker Boppers to avoid court time. Also why you can’t find the original Sock Em,Boppers name online
So then I only got two wrong. 😅
Agree
Me, too! I wondered what they were talking about even though it was obviously the same thing.
They were
So much of this predated the 90’s.
And most of these were (or are) still around way past the 90s
I miss being a child in the 90s. Things are so stupid nowadays that I want those times as well as my childhood back
I got 7 wrong. I was born in 84 so I grew up in the 90's. The one labeled walk man is actually a disc man. A walk man played cassettes.
I said the same thing out loud. lol
@@The90sTVFam we almost 40!!!
I was born in 84 as well. In fact my birthday is in 8 days. I got most of them right too.
@@danielleeveritt9323 I was also born in 1984. It's a trip we about to be 40
83 just turned 40 10 days ago wowzers
I miss the 90’s! The greatest decade, EVER ❤
@WOLF_2K24 it would be the '70s for me 😊❤️ it seems like the funniest era.
@WOLF_2K24 so true lol
Lol who loves the 90s say NoStIgIA
I love how the very first one is mouse trap. My mom took me came and got me from daycare just before we were about to play it and it took 20+ years for me to forgive her for. 😂😂
Haha does anyone actually know how to play it or did we all just build the trap and let it rip? 😁
I always wanted Mousetrap as a kid 😊
That's not the right Duck Tales from the 90s! I need an extra point for that trickery and foolishness!!! Thank you and good night, LOL
Woah woah
#16 is a diskman, not a Walkman!
Walkmans were for tapes and anyone who used one of these diskmans knew they weren’t walking anywhere if they wanted to hear their music play without skipping like crazy!
As a child growing up in the 90s, the only thing I did was watch TV all day. While I recognized most of the toys and games on this list, there were some I've never seen before.
I've passed now I'm an old fart... thanks a lot!
I’m was born in 04 and most of these carry over. The few that I wasn’t completely sure about I was at least somewhat familiar with.
You were born the year after I graduated high school. 😳
Is no one going to talk about how the pic of duck tales is from the new show instead of the 90s one?
I came to the comments just to see if anyone else said this. It's wrong! Lol.
Yeah I noticed too. To me the animation was better in the original.
Just like CareBears and My Little Pony.
The first thing I said too
true, but the Scrooge look is based on the look he had in the comics and Disney stuff outside of the 80s show so it’s just a bit of nitpicking that’s acceptable
@@Timberwolf460funny enough, the cartoon was actually wrong as the outfit isn’t the one Scrooge wears anywhere else…the new cartoon is closest to the source material right down to the other duck characters and backstory!
Funny video! However you made my elderly father very angry with the new Ducktales series photo instead of the classic one lol.
Made me angry, too.....
Was about to say the same thing…
Saaaaaaaame
Love this jazz music being played. That’s how you know I’M old. Lol
Well they probably didn’t wanna play 90’s alternative and make this a melancholic moment… but that might’ve actually been cool, with the right songs
As a 90's kid from the Netherlands i'm surprised that i knew so many. The only real obvious one missing here is Friends.
Friends is American
Born in 1990. Age 32. And I missed 13. I fell so ashamed. I was shooting for a perfect 50.
Also no blockbuster question?
I was born 99' and got 39/50. I knew a bunch that I could not remember the name but I 100% played with or watched. Only about 3 I had no idea.
Those are not snap braclets. They are called slap braclets.
We called them snap bands! I was born in 83.
I was born in 84. I guess it depends on where you are from.
Slap for me too. Born in 1982 metro Detroit.
@@patrickaker4380 I was born in the panhandle of Texas.
@@patrickaker4380Grand Rapids 1983, definitely slap in Michigan.
I cannot forget about ZooBooks. The sheer amount of times they played that commercial for them every single time of day it seems even when I woke up at 5am on Saturdays awaiting for the Saturday morning cartoons lol
I called them Nat Geo, which was a HUGE channel back in the 90s
@@Awood2207 same I was either thinking of that or Scholastic, but based off the color I guessed National Geographic
Ah man I miss ISpy books
Although a few of these were way before the 90s
I used to collect those troll dolls, lol lord good times
Yes 🙌
Now we have one for a presidential press secretary
There was 50...we missed 2!!! Kick it back a decade n lets rock!!✋️🤘🤘
Yea sonic the hedgehog
And Beavis and butthead
Me and my buddy used to play Battle Bots with Knex. Then we'd watch Myth Busters. Pretend to be Pokémon, watch Three Ninjas. Play Golden Eye on Nintendo. The 90s were life!
Wish 90s never went away
I remember a lot of these, love the serie Doug and Duck Tales.
Well let me be real I was born in 94 so I was about half way through the 90s at the time but I remember about 75% of these
Same
Also born in 94
1994 is the youngest of the Millennials. I was born on 1990, but I remember these things growing up in the 2000s. I was a HUGE fan of the Animorphs books
@@Awood2207 actually 84' through 98' are millennials. A lot of people who are millennials actually believe they are gen x lol. A lot of gen z people think they're millennials. I guess the media was right about us. But yeah I loved the 90's and the early 2000's we had Ludacris.
Dude there were so many points where I was yelling in victory in front of my brother because he thought I was "Too Young" to know these references.
He was born in 94. I was 2000. Yes make your jokes while you can. But I got all of these right.
We've been playing this game for 2 hours. I'm losing my voice.
Got 46. I missed the Dream Phone and what the diary thing was for (I knew what they were, but forgot the name), and got Poo-Chi wrong...I called it Robo Dog lol. The only thing I flat out didn't know was Weazel Ball...I've never seen that before, where was I for that?
My first reaction to that was, wasn't that a cat toy?😅 but it's probably due to the reason that our cats probably played with it more than I did. So, you are not the only one.
I got the exact same things wrong lol
Yeah, what the heck was that?
Sockem boppers sockem boppers, more fun than a pillow fight. Blow em up, put your hand inside get ready to have the time of your life!
I did not look up the video. That came straight from the back of my brain in the great beyond......i feel old and my joints hurt.
Mate brings back all the memeories, when things were fun, cheap, affordable. Yes im old BUT my generation was the best.
Same, the jingle went sock’em bopers, sock’em boppers, better than a pillow fight.
I remember “more fun than, a pillow fight!” Granted I have no proof and am probably wrong, but who knows
This gave us a dose of nostalgia, thanks for the vid
Half these things I had when I was kid😉
Omg, you just took me back with all those cartoons
I turned 15 in 1990....I did alright with the early 90's questions....some of that late 90's stuff stumped me🤔
Was working in the '80's. Sold some of thot se things. The mood rings caused problems when we ran out of them. LOL
Snap bracelets?!?! Everyone I knew called them Slap Bracelets.
I got 44, would of been 49 but I couldnt think of the name. I knew them though and the robotic dog wasnt 90s.
Good catch. I remembered it from the 90s when I put this together but its release date was actually April 2000 so that’s my bad.
Great memories!!
2000s kid, I got most of these. Some of these things were around before the 90s, and a good chunk of these were still around long after the 90s. You didn’t even use the picture for the original Ducktales (which, mind you, was made in 1987 and had its last episode in 1990), you used the new version that didn’t come out until the 2010s!
Born in '81, so got all the "not kid" stuff. Except that movie about burgers? Never heard of it. You should do one for 90's teenagers. And include body sprays, fashion, more TV shows...
I was born on 1990
welcome to good burger, home of the good burger
Good Burger was a reoccurring skit on All That, that got it's own movie. There's a coming-way-too-late sequel apparently on the way now.
2000’s kid getting all of these correct. 90’s my foot
It probably shouldn't count since I was born in 2003, but I knew more than half this stuff and had some of them (or similar ones) from my early years!
I remember most of these. The only two I didnt really know were the dream phone and diary one.
I remember going to the BINGO hall with my Nanny! She loved to play BINGO!
sooooooo many people had their treasure trolls there!!
um no lol its Slap bracelets
Came here looking for the comment. Totally slap bracelets
That wasn't the original cast from "All That," but I definitely thank you for the stroll down memory lane❤😂
They were original cast, some were missing, they’re just older in that pic.
The guy from Pete&Pete was not part of the original cast. And you're right. There are, I think, 2 girls missing.
born in 95, got 40/50, times were so much simpler back then
That cherry coke can use to be in the Mega lunchables !
I'm from 06 and got a good amount of these, some I recognized but didn't remember what they were called, and some I just didn't know
I was born in 83 and grew up in The 90 on most of that stuff remember it all the 1990s or the best bring back my childhood please😢❤
They were called "sock'em boppers".
Got 43 out of 50 lol.
Because 7 were 80s ... Same here man
Got 47 right and knew the others but forgot the names. Courage and Capt Underpants barely count as 90s and the DuckTales picture is from the remake and not the 90s version
Remembered a lot just couldn't think of the name. 😂😂😂
im a 90's baby and i can confirm the 90's were the best lol... but im biased
All of these I'm familiar with, but I can't remember some of their names. Definitely nostalgic though. I miss the 90s.
I only missed 4. There were some toys that I had no idea about like Wesel ball? What the heck? lol
I remember most of the stuff as well, although I didn´t own most of it, but I ve heard about it. :) I posted a video about my memories of the 90s today. :)
Thanks for watching. I'll check it out!
Ah the memories 😌
I missed a few here and there, but am mostly happy with how many I got right. (Forgot to keep score)
Pretty sure I got over 40 correct
I didn't do too well. I knew some of the answers right away and some I didn't know until the answer was revealed
I was born in 1988 and there are a few things I didn't remember. @ 3:52 didn't know that was called Cat's Cradle and I thought that was a much older game. and the thing right after it @ 4:04 I didn't know that was called Weasel ball. Omg... I had a pair of moon shoes and those things felt like they weighed a ton when you wore them and two they hurt like hell when you tired to use them lol
i got some of the 90,s stuff even though i'm from the mid 70's n grew up in the 80,s teens teens n adulthood was the 90's lol
How did you drop the ball on Duck Tales?
Great stuff all the way though, then... nu Ducktales 😓
I remember burn CDs using nero, and I saw they released nero platinum suite 2024 these days.😂
Child of 1969 but had a child born in 97 so all of this was relevent except for the 5 I missed; after the answers there was only one cartoon I did not know. Happy New Years Y'all!
For A self confessed 90s fan I was surprised how many toys I had forgotten!
I’m sad im getting old. Grew up with all these things
Excellent quiz
born in 88, this was too easy!
Looking back, I realize I really enjoyed my lite-bright. RIP
Magic 8 Ball was invented in 1946.
Mousetrap in 1963.
Not from the 90s but maybe rediscovered?
Lava Lamp 1963
Troll dolls 1959
Lite-Brite 1967
I think alot has to do with how popular they were in the 90s.
Ohhh childhood 😊
Oh god the cd player! I wish I still had all my old shit ngl😂
You know what? 44 out of 50 isn't bad at all for someone who was born in 93 :)
I guessed at least 40/50 but most of them were just mispronunciation
I heard that blueprint was like like the pilot episode
I only missed ,4.. the phone game, the dairy thing, leading of Nirvana cause I didn't listen to them but know who Kurt Cobain is and I forget the other one
Wah by the time I got moon shoes, I’d already started puberty and put on too much weight to do anything with em but hurt my feet trying to convince myself I wasn’t just jumping…
i love your dog
converse came out in 1940s and moon rings came out in 1975 :)
I had a tamagotshi!!!!!!!! I made sure mine did not die!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Should really be an American 90s kids quiz. Less than half this stuff was International; mainly the toys and a few Nickelodeon shows.
Lava lamp, mood ring, & magic 8 ball were pre 90's... Where were the POGS and super soakers???
Goosebumps, are you afraid of the dark, ahh real monsters there are so many more 😔
the only one i blanked on was InSpy, i got the names wrong for. Dream Phone, Poo Chi, and Socker Boppers but knew them
30/50 knew more but couldn't remember the names
I remember Slap bracelets and Blow pops eventually getting banned from skool!!
I will never forget the boot up PlayStation "Resident Evil 2" i beat that game on a 13 inch tv in a room in July with no ac in my grandma's house on a farm Virginia and I was the only one impressed i killed the tyrant. Good times
What is the jazz soundtrack you have here?! Also, born in ‘86, and this was a fun/easy 10-minute relaxation 🥰
I had no idea that stupid weasel ball thing HAD a name. I always just saw them being sold in obscure mall stands
50/50 👍
Pretty sure it's Macarena 😂 don't know much bout the Macrina 😢
pfft piece of cake
Walkmans were for cassettes. DISCmans were for CDs. 👍🏻
I have heard of it called angle breakers
I only got like 2 wrong. The thing right after skip it. There was something that I'd never seen before.. I was born in the year 1988
I was sketch them all that
When I remembered moon shoes😂
