Its not as simple as this scene demonstrates. Its full of symbolisms that is hard to explain here... but when Krishna puts together the cloth to send to Draupathi, he is actually fighting a war else where. So he pulls thread from all the kaurava women's necklace (which is equivalent to a ring in the western world for married women) and weaves the saree... indicating that all those kauravas would end. Hard to explain to someone unfamiliar. Also no one helps her because either they are bound by their dharma or word. But Krishna says they should still have intervened and every single good person there also pays for not saying anything. Its complicated.
In this scene there were over a 100 great worries,kings,gurus(teachers),and wise men present in that palace hall but no one helped her because these peoples were bound by rules and promises.Sometimes these rules and promises can be going against the righteousness.we shouldn't be bounded by such chains.Breaking a promise or a rule for betterment is right thing to do then holding to some useless chains of promises. Krishna helping her shows no rule no promises is greater than a woman's dignity.
