#swimming #motivation #olympics Guys ik there was a mistake. Meant to make Dressel win on the dive. I accidentally wrote Popovici. They should have tied in the end.
+ Popovici’s PB is better than Dressels’s. The race in the video is from world junior champs (after the europeans where Popovici broke the world record and beated Dressel’s PB 46.96)
I saw it why but here's the thing davids start is ok at the best of his starts and a start to beat dressels is hard as he would have to be a better jumper r than him even if he has more time most people starts do not get better as fast as their swimming will and if he wanted to give try and catch up he would have to train it every day cos jumping is a geans as well so he would need to have that as well and if he did we would have seen it by now
To be fair, back in 2012, everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) thought James Magnussen from Australia was the man-to-beat going into the Olympic games. He had numerous, consistently fast swims that all bordered around the world record. Due to his success he was dubbed "The Missile," which is appropriately given for all of his accolades to that point in his career. Nobody thought a 23-year-old Nathan Adrian would even come close to challenging Magnussen. However, Adrian ended up defeating Magnussen in a fashion of, if I recall correctly, 1/100th of a second (or several hundredths). What is the moral of this small bit of knowledge? It's not about who has the fastest time (necessarily). It's not about who has more overall victories. It's about who can get their hand on the wall first in that specific moment. Regardless of what anyone says, I think that when these two titans do finally race each other, it will be absolutely amazing. Both of them will be pushed to their ultimate potentials, and I am excited to see what these two can achieve!
There is no chance you just said Popovici had a better start. What are you on? And there is no shot Popovici has a better turn
Ik I was like wait whaatt

Dressel's starts are the best in the world, You can't compare

they raced in the olympics, it's in the video.
Dude, at least use their best times when comparing.
P.S. Dressel has got a far better start the Popovici,
Dressel has better start. Turns I agree but time dressel only been under 47 once. Popovici twice. So it’s 2-1 but different ways
thanks for correcting me
You're putting Dressel in a bad spot. David is obviously faster in long course cuz he has bad turns i nshort course.
dressel has a better start and turn whatcha talkin about man
all wrong dressel has better start and turn and popovici is swimming faster
Dude Dressel obviously has a better start then Popovici and the turn is hopeless for David but Popovici still did good
Dressel has better dive and turns. There are many analysis done on these two areas. Popovic obviously has better swim strokes and overall time, WR.
what swim meet is this
its the olympics are you kidding me LOL
@@hxndxrs0n815 popovici's swim was at a different meet dressels meet was at olympics i am wanting to know what meet popovici swam at
