I love how a blip of the throttle gains you so much ground on the other cars, you have built a weapon. I would love to see Taylor, Vaughn, Chelsea, LZ, and Cleetus ripping around the FF in their drift cars
It might not be a bad idea to try and angle the focus of the headlights lower to the pavement. I guess with this level of track use and lack of road use, it probably doesn't matter though honestly... I'm just glad to see the C6 running and performing well 🔥

I was gonna say something about those lights.. I was imagining the driver in front, getting yellow strobe lighted. Lol.. sick though
If I aim them any lower they will just light up the inside of the bumper.

Folks are saying a lot about the angling of the headlights. To you all, I have a suggestion; build your own corvette drift car and angle your own lights! Functionally headlights on a purpose built drift car are just for looks, the tracks should be well enough lit themselves for night races anyways.
The car also stays sideways mostly so blinding other drivers shouldn’t be a factor! Come on people! Let the man have his cake, he’s earned it!!
this build just proves if you take your time the first time and do everything right the car will perform excellent

You’ve done some amazing work on this machine. If everything is setup how you like, then great. Don’t listen to RUclips comments telling you what you need, 99.9% of these people haven’t ever tracked a car let alone drifted anywhere near your level.

Ya know, the way the c6 funnels the tire smoke off the back end ... I dunno, it's beautiful.
Every car has that certain 'smoke signature' of how the aero/exhaust makes the smoke behave, and the c6's signature is just so pleasing to watch. It's got that 'fighter jet' kind of trail that shows off the rear end movement really well. I suppose that's a double edged sword because it'll show off mistakes as well... but that just means you won't make mistakes.
And the amount of smoke you're generating is pretty nuts too. I know the tire smoke is only a small part of being a driftyboi, it's not a burnout contest. but it's something that really stands out to me.
This thing is gonna rack up some wins and look fuckin great while doing it. Hell of a job man, I'm glad you AND the car are out there doing what you were meant to do.
Vettes are my favorite car and to see it in a drifters perspective and the whole progress of the build is awesome!

Watching the smoke come out of the back window is awesome. I noticed that other drivers cockpits are filled with smoke and Taylor’s is clear. That’s got to be a huge advantage.

It’s awesome see that thing done and doing so well. You did an awesome job on it, and it looks smooth as butter. The only thing that sucks is I really really miss that build. I have been an automotive fan for decades, and that was by far the best build I have ever seen. Step by step, and there was never a place where I wanted to skip ahead or turn it off, because when there was a time lapse, you did commentary over the whole thing.
Damn the car came out great with the new color, headlights and livery .. and it has a touch of JDM and American muscle too
He did absolutely incredible with this car. This absolutely blows my mind and I watched most of the vids building it. Great job. The whole time all I could think is man the attention to detail I would love for someone like Taylor or Ksr to build a car for me those two dudes can really do some top notch quality work to be proud of. I get not wanting to fix things at the track but its still probably a good idea to pop the hood and even check suspension bolts and things like that between sessions. Catching an issue early can save a lot of pain.

Such a badass car. So happy with how it came out. Originally thought the color would have been green to pay tribute to the first drift vette, but the black is sleek. The flames are killer. Always puts a smile on my face like a little kid. I wouldnt be able to contain myself if I had a car that could do that 😂
