But now that I have listened to Existential Reckoning several times it has sunk in and its even more amazing! So so good. Very rare that an artist stays vital, artisticaly relevant, and original for SO long. Just amazing.

I fell like it gets lost on a lot of people who want to hear old sounds and they get caught up in just criticizing “technicality” or “djent elements”, but all three of those guys are truly wizards to me when it comes to just creating music with human emotion and vitality.

The last time I saw Maynard in concert was the 1st and 2nd Tool concerts (different tours) in the 90s in Kalamazoo, MI. I really miss hearing his group's music live, regardless of what form they take. Oh, well. At least I can still listen to all of the awesome music that's come out over the years. Still, nothing beats the feeling of seeing, and feeling, the music performed live. It doesn't matter how big I make my home theater system, it still doesn't even come close to the practically spiritual experience of a live performance. 🙁

This March will be the 4th time I’ve seen Tool. I honestly don’t think you even need edibles. It’s so amazing. But I also drink, so there’s that. Tool is known for sticking to similar playlists at their tours. So, check out set list fm, or you can get a peek at some concerts from this year elsewhere on RUclips. They are doing a lot of fear inoculum, of course. Culling voices will be so good.
Depends on the experience you wanna have.. I've seen Tool twice, once baked outta my gourd & once sober. I enjoyed both shows but remember more of the one I was sober for. ..& the 1st time I saw APC I specifically refrained as well & it was by far the best live show I've ever seen. (Being 2 heads back from the front of center stage helped a lot.). Have Fun, man! (PS - you'll love it either way. lol) ;)
Hope you will come to Europe. I watched Tool and APC two years ago, and I will watch Tool again this year in Berlin. I need to travel from Serbia, but it's worth of trouble.
