      That's because dubstep uses an oscillator, although this song has it so distorted it just sounds like a 2 stroke motor.
      I forget what instruments use oscillators besides a Hammond organ and the similar guitar amp.

    I was literally screaming in laughter and coughing up from the screaming contraption. This is truly a marvel of an invention, but the howling of that one mechanism is reminiscent to medieval torture or a baby's cries. The foghorn fart noises complementing it had me rolling on the floor.

      Thank you. I built the little pipe organ about 30 years ago. I made the bass horns for a different thing, but they’re set up on temporary stands for this specific song.

      That was one of the best things about Skrillex’s early music. Between all the bass drops and dub chops, there are a lot of lovely melodies tying it all together, sorta like the colorful string threaded through a charm bracelet

      Analog can't be used as a term here, since there are no analog cicuits involved. The sounds produced here are purely acoustic.

For example, when you take an acoustic sound source, then convert it to a continuous electrical signal, for later retrieval (saving it to magnetic tape) or instant playback (turning the signal back to acoustic vibrations through a loudspeaker).
      I am trying to find sources on your claim, but I can't find anything on acoustic instruments being classified as analog devices. Please share if you have.

    that first 30 seconds is so nostalgic feeling, between the ocarina sounding part reminding me of LOZ,skrillex being at the end of my child hood and missing the year 2011. I would pay for a whole version of just a soft cover of this song, don’t even need the crazy bag pipe things

    Incredible. I am so in love with this. Takes me to my youth and combines it with the spirit of my soul now. It’s like how all beautiful things have an ugliness/darkness, and all darkness has a spec of this light. I know it may not have been serious to you but this really was what my soul needed
