I have one and love it. I use it to fish trout streams and small lakes here in Wisconsin. Perfect fishing boat for me. It’s very stable and has room for gear.

May be getting one of these for short solo camping and fishing trips! Looks very manoeuvrable, and lightweight for portages.

I agree, it looks great for flat water. Hard to beat a canoe this light. I'd be interested to know how it works out for you, if you get one.

Sweet canoe! I'm afraid that I live too far south to try one out. My nearest dealer is 7 hrs. drive.

It's all in the skills of the paddler, because proper paddling is learned. The guy you see in this clip could make a Sportspal cruise without waddling. Same comment applies regarding those countless clips on RUclips of clueless boaters wig-waging along in 12-foot Old Town canoes as they awkwardly and noisily churn up the water with incredibly long double-blade paddles as their boat noses 20 or more degrees to alternating sides with each stroke. The guy in this clip shows the difference between real canoeing and clumsily making a little boat to move from Point A to Point B".

@@ericl2969 - sounds like you’re frustrated with newbies. I think we need more paddlers myself. It’s a dying sport unfortunately.

@@justinflott5133 I agree with you. There should be more people in canoes. I have no problem with newbies but I think it's unfortunate that the kinds of newbies I mentioned in that previous comment are going to remain newbies forever and won't even realize it. Canoeing hit its most recent peak in popularity in the early 1970s and nowadays very few give canoes a chance. That's why it seems as if all the good canoers have white hair. But it would be even better if more people who are starting out would become aware of what's possible in canoes and aim toward having better skills, like a lot of the current white-haired crowd did back when they were young (I have white hair too but I started 30 years later than most of those people did). I've noticed that people who learn to make their paddling easy and effective are more likely to stick with it for the long term.
