2:29 - Keeps legs moving and pushes the pile. This is brilliant coaching, and a very talented player. So very cool.
I think what impresses me the most is her vision. She's able to cut and find the hole that she needs to go through almost every time, all while wearing a helmet that doesn't fit her.
For those who claim the competition is weak, or that her opponents can't tackle or hit, pay close attention to the play at 2:28 - 2:38. She basically runs through tackles and opposing players there. Much respect for this little competitor.

If you've ever seen her being interviewed, the poise she reflects off the field is almost as impressive as her skills on the field. And if you don't realize it, that is saying something tremendous. Girl or not, she is the REAL DEAL. All those folks trying to minimize that clearly never lined up for a snap. Her folks should be very proud of her, as I'm sure they are. Go Sam!
This is truly remarkable, not just because she is a girl, but the fact that she herself is as dedicated as she is. Truly amazing.

She is a quick little runner - To the father of Sam Gordon, I am a father of three girls and its amazing to just cheer for them in all the sports they play. I coach 5th grade youth coach... This girl is awesome!! I can't believe all of the negative comments.. Give credit when credit is due.. She takes a lick and hands them out as well.. I love it!!!

I don't get why most of the comments are like "wait a few years and then she won't be as good" or "her competition is weak". Take it for what it is: she's a little girl playing boys' football and she's awesome at it. How many times do we get to see something like that?

On the second running play look at Sam change the ball from the inside arm to the outside arm to protect the ball from a fumble. That was awesome to see her little arms and hands do that in full stride while turning the corner. Nice!!
so what she is still faster than every one else, sped up or not. they are all sped up!
you can obviously tell this videos sped up for obvious reasons, but theres no doubt shes faster than everyone on the field and is one hell of a player

Thought she was good until I realized that 34/232 carries were actually touchdowns. Not many running backs her age that can't get 34 touchdowns out of 232 carries.

That kid is awesome. And to the people saying when those kids learn to tackle she is going to get hurt, come on, she is better than the boys her age, she will be better in a couple years. She will hit an age where it will no longer be safe, but as of now, she is awesome. She has vision that potential pros have.

My dad coached my lil brothers ankle bitter team back in 95 an that lil girl runs just like the running back that was on that team... and that running back was Eddie Royal who now plays for the san Diego chargers as a wide receiver! Yea and he was runnin a atleast a 4.5 at 7 years old!!
not going to happen, she will be too small to play in the NFL. either way a 9 year old is far too early to know how good she will be when she's 20 and all the players around her are much better than they are in these clips

I agree with him completely when the people she starts competing against are six foot 200 pounds the game gets 10x more difficult. By their size i say she's about 9 or 10 years old i may be wrong, but a lot changes between that time guys hit puberty that makes their muscles start to develop, and girls the same with girls just not as fast yes if she works constantly at it she may last a little longer. Dont get me wrongs she's awesome i think its great she has a love for the game.
All I can say is 'wow'! I thought she was just fast, but she's pretty strong too, incredible.
