When you're applying the ESI topper seal, do you apply the seal to the bedrail and then set the topper on, or do you apply the seal to the topper and then set the topper on the truck bed with the seal already on the topper?

Apply the seal to the topper, then set it down on the truck.
same principles apply for water proofing a tonneau cover as well?

Do you NEED the tape, if you’re using the silicone?
@@Offroadwarrior The butyl tape in the front corners? Yes. Silicone doesn’t fill gaps as well as butyl tape.
Super cap sealer tape is crap,had 23 ft.the adhesive stuck to the paper backing on 6 ft making it useless
