Hi Mrs. Carrie chicken and rice looks yummy and I’m going to cook this. Yummy! I had a beautiful dinner collard corn on cob (which was bar b q along with chicken mashed potatoes scallions sliced tomatoes delicious cornbread it was so so good. ❤
But Ms, Carrie I saw you on one of your video, that you Clean your greens or cabbage with dish soap liquid, that I won't do that because I wasn't coming up that way, all I use is salt and vinegar,, u will see how much dirt come off, anyway I love to see you cook, and the food looks good and delicious yum yum yum 😋
My Mama used to wash her greens with Tide powder detergent when I was a girl. In the 50s and 60s, greens would be filthy sometimes. Now it sounds terrible to use soap since we know so much more about chemicals. But Mama only did it a few times. And those greens would be super clean. When yuppies started eating greens, the stores or farmers took time to clean them a little, so today's greens are nearly as dirty as they used to be.
