If I lived in an apartment, I would wait until the office people leave and then run an extensions cord from a regular outlet to the car to get 4 miles of range per hour. If you were there for 15 hours that’s 60 miles of range added per night. If you drive 40 miles per day, your up 20 miles each day. By Friday your up 100 miles for the weekend for the win! If you plan on staying there for a while you could also ask management to install a level 2 charger which would give you 30 miles of range per hour (8X faster).

I have both the Model 3 Performance and the Model Y Performance. I would not own a Tesla if I did not have a garage to charge it in. I also have a BMW M3 for the weekends and will probably be adding a 911 S or Corvette C8 soon. Teslas make very good daily drivers and offer stress free driving. I had free supercharging for six months and it was an inconvenience to go to the charger every week for 30 minutes. Sometimes I would go there twice a week. Driving home and plugging the car in is so much easier.

@@FadCultMedia I would not own a Tesla or any EV if I was not able to charge at home. I do not like going to the supercharger at all. I felt as though it was a big waste of my time. I did it for six months when Tesla gave us six months of free supercharging with our new Model Y Performance. I would tolerate it only if Tesla decided to give us free supercharging for life. Only because I would be saving money on charging.

This video was interesting but it's more fanboy than being objective. Its entitled what I regret but your regrets wouldn't likely impact anyone's decision to purchase. I know Tesla has dropped their MSRP several times but you ain't getting 50% off of this car in two years. In three years pre-owned that's a good possibility. Too long of a video and not enough real meat on that bone.

Only perhaps. An example from local experience. There is a grocery store near that has "Level 03' charging devices. Ergo, the apartment dweller goes to buy the weeks worth of chow and parks at the charging stall, plugs in, does the shopping and returns to a 'full' battery'. In some cases there is a charge location within walking distance of an apartment-- plug in the EV, walk home, do "X" things, and get the EV.

I never understood why Tesla went with rear wheel drive with their entry level single motor vehicles. With the electric platform, front wheel drive is easily done with a single motor, and the improved handling and snow performance would benefit from such an arrangement. Seems rather old thinking on Tesla's part.
