Everything is excellent except that I can’t download so when trying to take my notes to make this list the delivery is too fast . In order to keep up, I have had to turn the speed down to 50 percent and still I have difficulty keeping up and have to keep stopping the video. Not sure if it is a common problem .
Would love a video on conjugating the common reflexive verbs and example sentences for each one , switching up the reflexive pronouns in sentences. Thank you! So helpful
Thank you! I especially that you say English first (my native language) and then the Italian as I understand that that is a more effective "direction" for learning...
You are a one phenomenal teacher!!! So happy I found your channel. I have a tutor on-line who I love, but she is just not very good at actual breaking down grammar, especially when its something difficult of confusion. there is a little language barrier there too, So I have been looking to you for months not to help me understand and really digest many subjects @@ItalianTeacherValentina
Thank you so much for your excellent presentation. I would be interested in conjugating reflexive verbs. You have a real gift in presenting material in a clear, easy to understand manner! Thankyou Thankyou!,
This tutorial was excellent as always. Could you please deal with those “ ordinary” verbs that can sometimes take a reflexive form and point out the ones that only operate as reflexive. It appears that many verbs that take a reflexive form also operate predominately without the reflexive form. For example to call a taxi, to wash the car, to dry the dog etc.. but can be reflexive eg. to call oneself, to wash oneself, to dry oneself etc
Grazie! E’ stato entrambi revisione e un’ introduzione ad alcuni nuovi verbi. Vorrei che alcuni frasi usassero questi verbi, se possibile. Ci Vediamo in prossimo video eccellente!
Una buona domanda, Paul! Yes, they can absolutely used in the infinitive form, any time the sentence requires that form, like "regular" verbs. E.g.: "Agli italiani piace vestirsi bene" (Italians like to dress well), or "Preferisco svegliarmi presto" (I prefer to get up early). Notice that, even though you don't conjugate the verb, you still need to match the reflexive pronoun to the subject. Hope this helps!
@@ItalianTeacherValentina Thanks Valentina, I appreciate your reply. I have found that most online teachers only concentrate on the conjugated part of reflexive verbs and never mention how the infinitive is used or if used at all. many thanks Paul.
ciao Valentina. come stai? possi spiegarvi i preposizioni italiene e il loro equivalente inglese? ...Hi Valentina. how are you? well, my Italian is awful, but I beg you please to explain to us the Italian prepositions and their English equivalent.
Reflexive verbs are those were the action "reflects" on the subjects (the self). They are not very common in English - although you do have them: think of "to enjoy oneself" - but are instead extremely common in Italian. I'm definetely going to make a video where I explain this concept more in depth - and how to use them - soon, so stay tuned!

Hi Valentina, are reflexive verbs ever used in a sentence in the infinitive form. If so, can you give some examples. Cheers .
