    I have been extremely blessed by our Lord Jesus with my Pastor. He's very intelligent in God's Word and is always happy to spread His divine message. Thank you Father!

    What a great podcast.. I have come across so many friends because of being under poor leadership have decided to just becomes independent. I believe this is wrong. Everyone needs a pastor or someone they can be held accountable to. God bless you Bishop Bernard.

    I thank our Lord Jesus Christ (the Chief Shepherd) for the pastors I have had and currently have. They have all been a blessing and a source of encouragement and support for me and my family over the past 35 years. There is the understanding that we are ALL individually accountable to the Lord for our lives. There is no substitute for individual repentance, obedience to God, prayer, fasting, worshipping the one true living God, being born again of the water and Spirit, and witnessing to a lost world. Thank God for the five fold ministry amongst whom is listed “pastors”. God Bless in Jesus Name!

    But in most of local churches the focus on apostolic and prophet not given much emphasis compare to gift of pastor. I believe according to Ephesians 4 is the gift given to every so called church by Jesus.

    I believe being submitted to your leader (pastor) is very important . I heard one preacher say that if you not submitted to your pastor(leadership) you are not apostolic.

    Firstly, does anyone get an answer back to our comments from David bernard, my question is, can a holyghost filled person living the apostolic doctrine baptize people if they are not a pastor?

    • @FulcrumGhost
      @FulcrumGhost Год назад +5

      Absolutely. There is no precedent in scripture that teaches you have to be a pastor to baptize someone. I do think it’s important that the baptizER understands the importance and the reasoning of baptism in Jesus’ Name before they do it and be able to communicate those things to the person wishing to be baptized.

    From the very far north east india, aizawl mizoram; Pastor, l've got a question regarding to whether does a group of people or organization necessarily need to registered to the upci in a sense of 'brotherhood' or is it enough to stick to the doctrines the upci follows such as water baptism in Jesus name..etc. or its not a problem to whatever name your organization might be and has no connection whatsoever to the upci but believe in deut 6:4, be baptist in Jesus name, and led a modest life. It'd be much appreciated if you could clear the cloud.

      The way you pose the question, it ask to be answered either yes or no. I would answer that it is better to have an organization than not have an organization. The reason is that in the Acts 1:8 witness, we have our “Jerusalem” to evangelize in our city. However, our nations in Judea and Samaria and the world require a larger effort. Out organization, the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus helps me to connect my congregation to our national and international missions and multiply our efforts. We have a Bishop in India , Bishop Sion Rajkumar. He directs our efforts there. He is wonderful!

      And don’t forget Paul’s command to the Corinthians in 1st Co. 16 where he commanded the church, like he did in Galatia to collect money (assistance) for the church in Jerusalem. A prime reason for organization.

    Dear brother Bernard. I'm a 21 year old christian trying to live and believe like the apostles. And I know that God is one. But I have a question Jesus is God his wisdom according to scripture. Do you think that because of that reason proverbs 8:22-... Is talking about Jesus or just about Wisdom in the literal sense? Because if proverbs 8:22 is talking about Jesus it implies that Jesus was born before the world was created by God. And that is something both trinitarians and oneness don't agree with in general.

    Pastors are important, but better to not have one than to have a pastor who is living in sin or teaches false doctrine. In some parts of the world and throughout history it is/was impossible to have a local pastor, it is not a Heaven or Hell issue. Still today, some towns still do not have pastors who teach truth. Having a pastor is a blessing to YOU, but sometimes not completely possible. Good teaching. THANK YOU JESUS FOR OUR PASTORS!!

      Then there is no biblical precedent to submit to them. Pastors do not have absolute authority, and their authority is invalidated when they willingly violate the guidelines given in the Word of God.

      I think it will be great when I move & start going to a different church. It’s still Apostolic Pentecostal, but the pastor I have now only takes time for a few people to know. When I began going here over 5 yrs ago there was 92% capacity of pews filled. Now it’s about 29% tho here lately we’re having visitors. His father was the pastor then became ill.
