  • This Series is designed to look at the Moedim of YHWH in a brief and concise way. Though these topics could be expounded and explained in long teachings, it is our goal to make these as short as possible while attempting to give certain amounts of detail at the same time. Though we hope to make a series that explains these days in greater detail in the future, we believe you will find this series informational just the same. This first teaching looks at Passover and Unleavened Bread.

Q: Why should it matter a hoot that the Last Supper was lampooned at the Olympics?
Answer: Because the Last Supper was a key part of the provision of the salvation of everyone who would believe it.
Here it is from scripture: (the apostle Paul explaining it)
[1Corinthians 15:3-4, 13-15, 17-23 NLT] 3 I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. 4 He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said......... 13 For if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised either. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your faith is useless. 15 And we apostles would all be lying about God--for we have said that God raised Christ from the grave. But that can't be true if there is no resurrection of the dead. ... 17 And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless, and you are still guilty of your sins. 18 In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost! 19 And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world. 20 But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died. 21 So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. 22 Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life. 23 But there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when he comes back.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS ABOUT THE LAST SUPPER: It was the feast celebrating the Passover (one of the seven feasts of Israel) It was Jesus becoming the Passover Lamb… offering himself as a sacrifice so that we don’t have to….AND IT WAS FULFILLED ON THE EXACT DAY OF THE FEAST.
Jesus was buried during the Feast of Unleaven Bread (Leaven represents sin in the bible) Jesus was sinless, and on that day, He removed sin from us. IT WAS FULFILLED AT THE EXACT TIME OF THE FEAST! And we receive this provision by faith in Jesus.
And then, three days after the crucifixion, He was raised from the dead ON THE EXACT DAY OF THE FEAST OF FIRST FRUITS, as Paul said, because on that day he became the first fruits of those who would be raised from the dead.
Are you beginning to see it? God is real, and what He says in the Bible is real. The next feast to be fulfilled is the Feast of Trumpets…exciting, isn’t it? And you get to choose whether or not you believe and are saved.
[1Co 15:52 NKJV] 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
      And again (Jesus explaining it):
[John 3:13-21 NLT] 13 No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life. 16 "For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. 18 "There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God's one and only Son. 19 And the judgment is based on this fact: God's light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. 20 All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. 21 But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants."
The consequences are eternal. Please consider these things carefully.

An example of this prophetic sign is 1 Sam 25, where David's men announced to Nebal that David was approaching. Nabal rejected David, and for 10 days was "as dead". He didn't repent and died on the 10th day. Shortly after, David marries Abigail, Nebal's widow. Yom Teruah, 10 days later Yom Kippur. 5 days latter Sukkot! The announcement, the judgement, the Marriage Supper!

Shabbat Shalom 119 😊 it seems that reasons and purposes are given from roughly the 4 min mark to the 7 min mark, Joel seems to crystalize the purpose of Yom Teruah it is a Gather to the House of Yah, the Feast Days that follow are Yom Kippur a Day to humble and atone and then Sukkot where we have the opportunity to camp 🏕 with the Most High to the Ages of Ages

I think there is also a tie to the sound of the shofar from mount sinai when God came down to be with his people (exodus 19:13-25) and Moses went up to get the Ten Commandments. Yom Teruah is also a memorial of when God came to earth….and he will do it again at the final blast of the shofar when the King of Kings Jesus returns!

Let us not forget the information provided in scriptures from books such as 1 Esdras that were originally part of the 1611 KJV.
So Ezra the chief priest brought the Torah unto the whole multitude from man to woman, and to all the priests, to hear Torah in the first day of the seventh month. EZRA SHELIYSHIY (3 EZRA) 9:40 את CEPHER
This day is holy unto Yahuah; (for they all wept when they heard the Torah:) Go then, and eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send part to them that have nothing; For this day is holy unto Yahuah: and be not sorrowful; for Yahuah will bring you to honor. A RESPONSE TO THE PARIS OLYMPIC OPENING ...WHY DOES IT MATTER?

Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. 4 He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. …... 9 For I am the least of all the apostles. In fact, I'm not even worthy to be called an apostle after the way I persecuted God's church. 10 But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favour on me--and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace. ........ 13 For if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised either. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your faith is useless. 15 And we apostles would all be lying about God--for we have said that God raised Christ from the grave. Thanks for reaching out.
Numbers 9:10-11 states if they were unclean from touching a dead body or if they were traveling then they could do it the next month. It doesn't mention anything about being unclean for any other reason.
10 “Speak to the people of Israel, saying, If any one of you or of your descendants is unclean through touching a dead body, or is on a long journey, he shall still keep the Passover to the Lord. 11 In the second month on the fourteenth day at twilight they shall keep it. They shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

Moedim is a word used for times other than feasts. In other words, feasts are moedim but moedim are not just feasts. Therein is a problem with teaching anyone that feasts were in place outside of the 1500 or so years inside the land simply because of the word moedim. They were not! In fact, Hosea 9 tells us that Yah would vomit His people from the land because of their ongoing sin and feasts as well as new moons (lunar calendar) and high sabbaths would CEASE! Of course this is because every feast instruction must include the physical temple in jerusalem and a functioning levitical system. Without both, no feasts are celebrated; they cease just like Yah said in Hosea 2. We cannot forget, Yah never wanted man to need a levitical system. His desire was for us to be a kingdom of priests (not just a family/tribe) each of us able to draw near. But the golden calf happened instead so Yah put the levitical covenant in place. It is this covenant that the writer of Hebrews calls "soon to pass away" because it is a "shadow." The new covenant has restored Yah's original plan; each of us able to draw near to Him and not just a certain family within a certain tribe.
What's interesting is that Jeroboam ignored Torah. He decided that it wasn't just Aaron's line of priests that could do what was commanded only to them; Jeroboam would just put those tasks (like lunar calendar authority, accepting sacrificing, determining & officiating feasts) on other men outside of the tribe of Levi. Jeroboam also decided that going to the only place on earth allowed to celebrate feasts, was not necessary. He would just decide they could be celebrated elsewhere. Jeroboam's sin in doing these things is described in scripture as some of the worst offenses against Yah. And people followed along with this evil of idolatry. IOW, they followed Jeroboam instead of Yah.
It's no different today. And anyone acting like Jeroboam, leading people to do what Yah has CEASED, is sinning. He is obviously NOT that person's Adonai.
"The Israelites persisted in all the sins of Jeroboam and did not turn away from them."

there is pesach in egypt, there is no temple yet, yeshua instructed passover/pesach without temple..so Moedim is not dependent whether or not temple standing.
the pesach in new covenant is the perfect example of celebrating these moedim in renewed covenant way

    • @bmjjjja

@@Ma.Socorro-u2y Pesach is not the feast; it is an act of slaughtering a lamb and placing the blood over doorpost. It was done the first time before there ever was a feast celebrated. Then it was done a second time at Sinai a year later. However, it was not done again for 40 years and not until they crossed over and entered the land just as Yah instructed. Ex 12 and 13 tell us that Yah instructed feasts to begin once in the land and then Deut 12 says they are to be done where He put His name.
You cannot ignore all of the instructions in favor of a couple. No, Yeshua did not instruct the slaughter of a lamb without a temple; that's false. It is clear. IN the first diaspora, feasts and lunar calendar keeping ceased. They cease in this one as well!

      Didn’t Yeshua follow the feasts?

    • @bmjjjja
      @bmjjjja 2 месяца назад

@@hoosiertarheel899 Yeshua was in the land with a functioning temple/levitical system, both of which are required for feasts. So everyone we're reading about in the NT were keeping feasts because they went to Jerusalem and kept them by doing what was instructed in order to keep them. IOW, they obeyed Torah.
This is just not difficult. In the first diaspora, feasts and new moons (lunar calendar keeping) "ceased." Those are not my words; those are Yah's words. He caused them to cease in fact, He used that verb "cause." How in the world could He cause people to stop keeping feasts? I mean, He certainly can't cause people to do that today, can He?
It is astounding that so many ignore Torah. Yah was able to cause the people to cease their feast keeping because He vomited them from the land exactly as Hosea 9:1-5 says along with the implications for feast keeping. They cease. Israel knew this and Israel did not do what all these people are doing today. Israel knew that outside of the land, feasts were/are impossible. And there are certainly NO commands to "rehearse" "practice" "commemorate" or whatever other word you want to insert in there. This diaspora still has so many disobedient people who claim to follow Torah but are obviously not doing so.

Good lesson. But Yahweh is a Samaritan word.
The Name of The Almighty has 3 syllables and the overwhelming evidence is for YEHOVAH
I can't understand how if you study so deeply you still can't see it.

Doctrine of demons that far too many believe, but not supported by scripture. Prepare yourself to go through, as “…we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.” Acts 24:22. Don’t allow satan to trick you into believing you will be poofed away before the going gets rough, or you may find yourself departing from the faith when things get bad, which they are going to. 1 timothy 4:1 “Now
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,”
Matthew 24:21-22 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short.” From Yeshua’s mouth.

So are you saying Yeshua sinned by keeping the feasts and therefore was not our sinless lamb of Elohim that takes away the sins of the world? Or that we sin by following Him - the way, truth and life - Torah, the Word made flesh, as He called us to? It’s not clear to me anyway what you mean.

      Shalom,
Thanks for reaching out. We are not saying either of those things.
As we state in the teaching:
So Yom Teruah is a wake-up call for us to get our hearts and our lives ready. The day of the LORD is coming, and Yom Teruah reminds us that we must be prepared. We must be on the solid foundation of Messiah. We must hear and do God’s word. However,Yom Teruah is also a time to rejoice, because our king is coming soon, and he’s going to set everything right. We’re going to be resurrected, transformed, and able to dwell with God forever. Paul wrote about this in 1 Corinthians 15:51-57.
Messiah already has victory over death, in that he himself was resurrected. However, this “last trumpet” ushers in the resurrection of all who belong to him. This trumpet announces the culmination of Messiah’s work, when we will no longer have perishable bodies, but instead we will get to experience eternal life with him. This is the victory that will come after the judgment. So, we encourage you all to celebrate Yom Teruah, both as a day to prepare for judgment, and as a day to look forward to Messiah’s ultimate victory
1 Corinthians 15:51-57 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:“Death is swallowed up in victory.”“O death, where is your victory?O death, where is your sting?”The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ[Messiah Yeshua].
      We hope this helps.
      Blessings to you and yours.

THE FEASTS OF ISRAEL ...WHY DOES IT MATTER?
Q: Why should the Feasts matter?
Answer: Because they are an enactment of the provision of salvation to everyone who would believe it.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS … THE LAST SUPPER was the feast celebrating the Passover (one of the seven feasts of Israel) It was Jesus becoming the Passover Lamb… offering himself as a sacrifice so that we don’t have to….AND IT WAS FULFILLED ON THE EXACT DAY OF THE FEAST.
And 2024 the Feast of Trumpets is 2-5 October…..And you get to choose whether or not you believe and are saved.
