    Great teaching. The teacher was easy to understand and pleasant to listen to. Big difference in the true context VS what we’ve been taught in church.
    Thank you! ❤

    Well if the prayer and fasting was a cry out for help and mercy, it did work ! Yeshua was there to answer this, just not in the way they were ready to see. Those that had those eyes to see did in fact see those prayers answered!!
    🤍 Thank you for your consistently thoughtful exegesis and sober reasoning in explanation. It’s such a breath of fresh air to be able to share these with people knowing they aren’t intended to incite by a fiery exhortation !
    Also anyone who knows a decent wine 🍷 could see that the popular explanation makes absolutely no sense 😂😂 spot on!!

    Wow! This is the best explanation for these verses. I always thought the last passage from Luke was good evidence that the Christian interpretation was wrong (as usual), but I was always focused on trying to disprove their 'new vs old' argument instead of the true context. When you start from a point of error, it can only grow exponentially.
    Excellent job my brothers! Shabbat shalom. YHWH bless and keep you and yours...

    Another view of the fourth parable is that by doing the right thing the wine will be preserved. Starting right and continuing in in the right way will prove superior. It is impossible to achieve the superior situation if we continue to address the problems of sin with incorrect and inappropriate actions.

    Even Jonah told them to repent and then they fasted

    • @fivebooks8498
      @fivebooks8498 День назад +3

      Yep. After they repented though. Big take away from this teaching is repentance must come first or fasting is useless.

    Very good synopsis with all three parables. So I have a question. Who is my brother? That's what they wanted know as well. Is it the least of these who are not Yah's enemy or is it everyone who is His enemy and has fallen on hard times? Didn't those who refused to help the prodigal son, refuse because scripture told them not to help? "Have nothing to do with them but rather expose their sin" (paraphrase). Don't even eat with people who claim to be surrendered but engage in continuing sin, right? Do we read where Yeshua and His disciples fed people in the soup kitchens or did they feed people who came to them to listen to Torah; for truth? IOW, this issue needs to be clear. How does it benefit the drug addict for us to feed him at the homeless shelter? But if that drug addict comes to us for teaching/truth like the 5000 came to Yeshua, then feeding him is to be done, right? Or are we to feed everyone who are hungry?
    I assume the new wine is the new teaching and not the new believer. The new teaching (pharisaical commands) put into old wineskins will destroy that wineskin. This is what is spoken of in Deut 4:2 and Gal 3:10. We are cursed if we follow the law (lower case law) because God's Law (upper case Law) says. so. Man-made rules, if followed, are idolatry and destroy that person.

    How does Matthew 17:21 fit into this teaching? There seems to be a time for fasting but according to this verse, for who was supposed to fast to release the demon from the boy? The boy or disciples? Note: please be sure to reference NKJV or KJV as some translations have changed or completely removed the verse.

    Thought you were gonna make the point that old wine was better and compare it to the fact Yeshua was teaching the old Way and not the new ways of man.

  • @tressabowles5817
    @tressabowles5817 18 часов назад

    I think quite the opposite Yeshua is saying that the old wine the better wine is the law that has been around since the Ancient of Days and the new wine are the traditions of men that they keep coming up with from the oral traditions and you can't mix the two.... the old wine or God's laws and ways is so much better to keep than the new wine that is cheap which is the traditions of men that really not only mean nothing but just lay a yoke around men's next that make it to burdensome to bear

    Soooo 57 mins cudda easily been... "nowhere in Torah will u find fasting outside Matzahfest leaven fast so added Pharisee law of fasting breaks Deut.4:2 n Deut.12:32 Don't Add command n ruins the covenant, or wineskins....The disciples fasted leaven for 7 days after the Cross

      New wine = pharisaic tradition
      It’s fine if it’s put in a new wine skin, then ?

    • @nunyabiz5880
      @nunyabiz5880 День назад

      @davidqatan Oh correct,good insight, let's follow that new wine of takanot (Google that definition, its 5x in Matt 15 translated as 'tradition' in our KJV) the old wine is better, the new wine of Jesus time is still unfermented n new, Judaism....rubbish worthless doctrine unchanged for 2100 yrs.....(I'm counting the Pharisees that started after Maccabees circa 100bc)....good question!

  • @dmcgwhisper5945
    @dmcgwhisper5945 День назад

    Which bible are you teaching from? These are not the true words of scripture. Please use the King James Version.

  • @michaelleclair202
    @michaelleclair202 23 часа назад

    The old wine being superior to the new wine is a metaphor for the fact that GOD ALMIGHTY'S original COMMANDMENTS in the TORAH are superior to the Talmud commands preached by the Pharisees and Sadducees....GOD'S COMMANDS are perfect like he is.
