It is refreshing to find that these people actually understand the passage in Galatians 4, and do not adhere to the foolish idea that Paul is preaching a gospel that is different than what the other apostles were saying.

Jesus is the stumbling block to the Jews to bring them OUT OF THE MINISTRY OF DEATH not bring them BACK to it.
All who bring to the observance of the Sabbath a heart consecrated to God will find that the day God has sanctified is more to them than they had any idea of. I am the Lord that doth sanctify you. If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on My holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honorable; and shalt honor Him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. Isaiah 58:13-14.
That depends on how you keep it. If you do it in strict ways, full of forbidden things to do, it becomes bondage (I.e. the 613 rules added to the Torah by rabbis).
@gerriebell2128 that's why it's important to differentiate between God's commandments and those of rabbi or any other persons, only the word of God and what christ taught. Biblical rest is given by God.

Well done. Forcing scripture into paganism is leading multitudes onto the Broad Road that leads to destruction. The words of Paul can be twisted into sad distortions of what he actually said. Your exegesis is excellent.
I've pointed out 2peter chpt 3 to so many people and yet they continue quoting Paul to me, thinking he said the Sabbaths, and the law in general , were done away with. People are so stubborn, it's amazing.
Well last week I learned that Paul's letters has been messed with and the Gospel too, from a book called (EUSEBIUS ECCLESIASTICAL HISTORY) I started read it last week, and it's one I can't hardy put down.
@@justincase1919 Yes, you pointed out this chapter to me, but the only ones who are twisting Apostle Paul words are the “sabbath keepers” and “law keepers” (supposedly, since even the Jews could not even “keep the law”). Acts 15 is clear that ALL THE APOSTLES were in agreement that no gentile Christian was required to “keep the law”. They said: “WE GAVE NO SUCH COMMANDMENT”!! Only an ignorant person will twist that clear statement. Acts 15:24 KJV Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: Those who say “keep the law” are “subverting your souls”. After a person is IN CHRIST, they are a NEW CREATURE, created to do what Christ SAID, not what Moses said/wrote.
@@Helzermanable Remember that the Law of Moses is still in charge and will be forever as this earth is standing as i is today. Jews are obligated to keep the laws even if they become Christians. But Christians from the pagan background does not need to keep the law but if they want they can do it.
@@folkeholtz6351 It is too bad that Jesus didn’t say what you just said. Since He didn’t say that nor did He have the Apostles say it, your words do not stand. Just the fact that Jesus DEFENDED His disciples for harvesting their food on the Jewish sabbath stands AGAINST your words. Their gathering food on the seventh day was in complete disregard of the Jewish sabbath law: Exodus 16:28-30 KJV And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws? [29] See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. [30] So the people rested on the seventh day. Friday was the day set to gather food for Friday and Saturday for the Jews set by God. The disciples with Christ DID NOT OBEY…..and they were all of Jewish ethnicity. So, with Christ….those in Christ….follow a different set of laws. Easy. Compare Scripture with Scripture. There is no difference of laws among Christians, regardless of their ethnicity. Apostle Paul says that multiple times. We all are IN CHRIST, and follow HIS SAYINGS now. Cheers

Shabbat Shalom 119. 8 min 20 sec mark essentially sums it up 😊 Shaul (Paul) was rebuking the Galatians for their continued Observance of Pagan (Greek and Roman) Holidays. The key to understanding this is the turning back to beggarly elements which means backsliding and going back to the old ways. When a person feels like they are in bondage to keeping the commandments is a good sign that they are not in this person's heart to begin with.

Wow! I had no idea that Roman citizens were required to participate in the pagan practices, that it was punishable not to participate. Thank you for this teaching. I see more clearly what Paul was saying.
1 Corinthians 11:1 - Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ. -Paul says we are to imitate him like he did Christ, so lets see what Paul did. Here are examples of 5 of the 7 feasts being kept. Day of Pentecost Acts 2:2 When the Day of Shavuot (Pentecost) had fully come, they were all with one accord[a] in one place. -How did they receive the holy spirit after Yeshua ascended? They were observing the Day of Shavuot that Sunday. Acts 20:16 - 16 For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he would not have to spend time in Asia; for he was hurrying to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on the Day of Shavuot (Pentecost). -Paul was hurrying to observe this feast and Jesus has been dead for years. 1 Corinthians 16:8 - But I will tarry in Ephesus until Shavuot (Pentecost). -Paul is keeping this feast in Ephesus. Passover and Unleavened Bread Acts 20:6 - 6 But we sailed away from Philippi after the Days of Unleavened Bread, and in five days joined them at Troas, where we stayed seven days. -Why even mention Unleavened Bread, if it was abolished and no longer being observed? Acts 12:1 through 4 - 1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. 2 Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. 3 And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. 4 So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover.-Verse 3 shows that they were keeping the Passover and Unleavened Bread. 1 Corinthians 5:7 through 8 - 7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.[a] 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. -Paul here is telling the New Testament Christians to keep the Passover and Unleavened bread, 1 Corinthians 11:23 through 25 - 23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat;[a] this is My body which is broken[b] for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” -Paul is describing the New Testament Passover service, that Jesus established with His disciples on the night before His crucifixion. From the above passages we see that Paul commanded the Gentiles in the city of Corinth to keep Gods Holy Days. Acts 12:1 through 4 - 1Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. 2 Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. 3 And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. 4 So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover. -Verse 3 shows that they were keeping the Passover and Unleavened bread, Feast of Tabernacles Acts 18:20 and 21 - 20 When they asked him to stay a longer time with them, he did not consent, 21 but took leave of them, saying, “I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem; but I will return again to you, God willing.” And he sailed from Ephesus. The Day of Atonement Acts 27:9 through 10 - 9 Now when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because the Fast was already over, Paul advised them, 10 saying, “Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives.” -Paul is referring to the Fast on the Day of Atonement. Am a Christian and we follow the sabbath and feast you can see them in the New Testament after yahusha went to heaven so if the apostles kept sabbath keeping and feast we do as Christ do
Amen! A good litmus test to see which doctrines Christians base their beliefs on is to ask “who was the greatest apostle?” Most will say “Paul”. Hebrews 3:1 says Yahusha is the apostle and high priest. That makes him the GREATEST apostle [and high priest, of course!]
Paul did not condemn it. If the church ages were set from Adam to John the Baptist. So shall the set churches be given light in returning for each church times given. Just like the hunukah setting the candles from right to left, and giving light from left to right. To observe, and to practice is not the same
Thank you for this, David! I was hoping you would bring up Galatians 2:14: "I said to Peter before them all, 'If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?'"
@@673.. That actually is a confusing statement. The issue was, that Peter was eating with gentiles, but was afraid of the Jews and separated himself from the gentiles when they came. The issue seems to be of unity in Christ and circumcision. It appears to me that this event occurred before the council in Jerusalem and possibly that it caused them to hold the council, where they had the discussion about whether or not the gospel was to be taken to gentiles. Before that, there were Jewish laws against Jews eating with gentiles, and that is what Peter had been worried about and what Paul was rebuking him for . We are one in Christ, and circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God is what matters. Circumcision was the issue. It's pretty much always the issue when Paul is talking about being saved by grace and not "works of the law". The confusing part is, what did he mean by " living like a gentile" ? How was Peter "living like a gentile" ? What does that even mean ? That's the part that confuses me.
@@justincase1919 for what it's worth - here is what Mark D. Nanos has to say about it in his book "Reading Paul within Judaism":( pg 89) "When Paul says Peter is living like a gentile, or "gentilely", Paul is not accusing him of a Torah-free lifestyle, but of living justified by Christ just like the Gentiles are, not also by his standing as a Jew..."
@@cjr192 That makes sense. Being "a Jew" through being circumcised, and following the oral laws of the Jews, was the main thing Paul argued with Jewish believers about, not keeping God's law, which he is falsely accused of..
@@justincase1919 Thank you for this! I re-read the verse in context of the whole book and prayed about it. What you said makes sense, as Peter separated himself in fear of the circumcision party. Attempting to adjust to the Jews beliefs, when: "There is neither Jew nor Greek... we are all one in Christ Jesus" (Gal.3/28). Circumcision itself is not a work of the law, it is the sign of a covenant (Gen.17/10-11). God established that covenant with Abraham long before Moses was born - and long before the law was given. In the context of Galatians, Paul speaks of how we are to live by the faith our father Abraham had, which preceded the law. Abraham walked by faith and was righteous before God apart from the law. By works of the law no one will be justified (Gal.2/16,3/11;Rm.3/20). God gave us all a conscience. The book of Romans states, "When the Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law unto themselves, showing that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts either accuse or excuse them, on the day when God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus" (Rm.2/14-16). "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love." -Galatians 5/6 "Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law." -Romans 13/10 Going full circle back to Galatians, separating oneself or alienating brothers and sisters based on status, race, or where they are in their walk with the Lord is not loving one's neighbor and therefore not fulfilling the law. Thank you so much for replying to my comment. It really helped me search in the way I needed to finally understand it. I hope it was helpful to you as well. [Please note: I used (/) instead of (:) when citing the scriptures so they wouldn't turn blue.] Shalom.
@@673.. Exactly, circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of that commandments of God is what matters. Paul didn't teach against God's law, he was simply saying that gentiles are circumcised of the heart when they keep God's commandments and they don't need to be physically circumcised, and Jews and gentiles are one in Christ and shouldn't be afraid to associate with one another.
The epistle to the Corinthians is almost 20 years after the epistle to the Galatians...so Paul would not have rebuked the Galatians for observing the Sabbath day and the feasts but later encourages the Corinthians to do so...
@@HelzermanableFirstly, it's not the "Jewish" Sabbath day. It's God's Sabbath day that Christ set apart when He created all things in six days before any Jew was ever present. God also says that the Feasts are His appointed times (the ones that the sun moon and stars were created for tracking on day four of creation) in Leviticus 23. More directly, Paul instructs the Corinthians in chapter five that "Christ our Passover has been sacrificed, therefore _let us keep the feast_". We know the early church took this literally because there was a huge debate about when Pascha (Passover) was and what it represented. We know from Polycrates via Eusibius that James, Philip, John, two of John's gentile disciples: Ignatius and Polycarp, and Polycrates along with His family celebrated Passover on the 14th of Nisan, according to the Scriptures, and never failed to observe the days of removing the leaven. This confirms that the tradition the apostles passed down was one of observing the appointed times of God. Have a good day.
@@dustinfordham4007 1 Corinthians 5:7-8 KJV Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: [8] Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. The FEAST is SINGULAR: it is speaking of the Lord’s Supper ONLY. The verse does not say FEASTS (plural). It is commanded to keep the LORDs SUPPER, as often as possible….not just once a year: 1 Corinthians 11:23-28 KJV For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: [24] And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. [25] After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. [26] For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. [27] Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. [28] But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. No other FEAST is mentioned to be observed by the Apostles. Any ethnic Jew can continue observing their Jewish feasts/holidays/sabbaths, but none of that is required to maintain a Christian lifestyle. Especially for those who are sent by God into the dark jungles of Papua New Guinea where I live. There is no way possible for me to maintain such a lifestyle as I OBEY the Great Commission….as all Christians should be participating in to some degree or another…..giving or going. Where do you fall in on that COMMANDMENT given by Christ? Matthew 28:19-20 KJV Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. 1 Corinthians 10:25,27-28 KJV Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake: [27] If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake. [28] But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof: Eating pig is a delicacy here in PNG. If I am bid to eat at a chiefs house and he serves me pig, I am commanded by the Apostle Paul to eat it without asking any questions. Easy. And furthermore, I know how to make all creatures CLEAN/“sanctified”: 1 Timothy 4:3c-5 KJV …….meats……God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. [4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [5] For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. Following Jewish customs and “God’s sabbath” cannot be done by obedient CHRISTIANS who are obeying the Great Commission. As you well know, the sabbath LAW was given to Israel as a sign between THEM and God. It was/is not a sign between Christians and God: Exodus 31:13-14 KJV Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. [14] Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. And the fact that you disregard the part of the sabbath law of capital punishment, means that you disregard it all. Or maybe you have cut off all those among your people that don’t keep “God’s sabbath”?? If so, you are definitely a true sabbath keeper, unlike other so called sabbath keepers.
That made sense. If one looks, I think it's in Deuteronomy, where it says to not even keep the gold of the statues of the pagan gods even after it was grounded, because it may tempt them. Pretty applicable to the Christian walk today, should we be doing what we were doing before? Many things to reflect on in this short teaching, thank you.
The law of Moses, the ceremonial law, and the Moral law, Ten Commandments, are two distinct things: one was nailed to the cross and the other binding: The first two scriptures below tell us where Moses put the 10 commandments (Moral law). The second scripture tells us where he put the cerimonial law. The last scriptures tell us which one was nailed to the cross, abolished, and blotted out. When the Ark is finished, place inside it the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, which I will give to you. Exod.25.16NLT He took the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant and placed them inside the Ark. Then he attached the carrying poles to the Ark, and he set the Ark’s cover-the place of atonement-on top of it. Exod.40.20NLT This scripture tells where Moses put the Ceremonial law. It was put it next to the ark When Moses had finished writing this entire body of instruction in a book, he gave this command to the Levites who carried the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant: “Take this Book of Instruction and place it beside the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord your God, so it may remain there as a witness AGAINST the people of Israel. Deut.31.24,Deut.31.25,Deut.31.26NLT In these last two verses, Paul tells us which one was "nailed to the cross". It's the HANDWRITTEN ONE, the ordinances "that was AGAINST us". The one in the verse above that was "a witness against them" Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was AGAINST us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; Col.2.14&KJV Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; Eph.2.15KJV We know and are certain he was not talking about the 10 commandments because he refers to the 5th commandment later in the book of Ephesians: “Honor your father and mother.” This is the first commandment with a promise: If you honor your father and mother, “things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth.” The, definite article, Sabbath, the 4th commandment, is part of the Moral law and therefore binding.

@@juliemarkham4332 You already knew so you were testing me? :) Rites of passage, or initiation rites can also explain why Galations would think ... a lil circumcision pain for a few days and I'm in the club. I'm actually curious if those who came from Antioch (still Galatia) were collecting skins like David and those 200. Literally boasting in the the collected Galation flesh. Many pastors today keep a talley of how many they claim to have led to salvation.... What has been will be again ... nothing new under the sun...
I don't know how to greet you...Galatians 4 has nothing to do with the Sabbath and feasts...but the religious days and feasts of the Galatians which is Modern day Turkey of the pagans and that young believers were reverting to their pagan roots and not to the Sabbath or the feasts of the Lord - Leviticus 23
Your case is compelling, but I'm finding a bit of fault in the complexity. The entire discussion of Galatians can be summed in 3 points, 2 of which are true today, and the 3rd can be approached with very little thought: 1. When Paul says "we", "us", or "I", he's referring to Jews. When he says "you" or "your", he's referring to Galatian gentiles. 2. "Circumcision" then, as it is now, is a euphemism for the talmudic rituals for conversion to Judiasm. and 3. When Paul says "Law", he means Torah. When Paul says, "works of law" (Greek: Ergon Nomos), he means the oral tradition. This can be confirmed by Paul's MISQUOTING Deuteronomy 27:26 by adding the word "written" in Galatians 3:10, considering that the Talmud was just oral tradition and not written in Paul's day. These 3 points can flip all of Paul's writings into a stalwart defense of Torah.
Exodus 31:14 “Therefore you are to keep the Sabbath, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it must be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people. 15 For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a Sabbath of complete rest [Exodus 20:8-11; Leviticus 23:1-3], holy to the Lord; whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must be put to death.“ (NASB) Exodus 35:1 Then Moses assembled all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and said to them, “These are the things that the Lord has commanded you to do: 2 “For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a holy day, a Sabbath of complete rest to the Lord [Exodus 20:8-11; Leviticus 23:1-3]; whoever does any work on it shall be put to death.“ (NASB) Numbers 15:32 Now while the sons of Israel were in the wilderness [Heb. midbar], they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day [Exodus 20:8-11; Leviticus 23:1-3]. 33 And those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation; 34 and they placed him in custody, because it had not been decided what should be done to him. 35 Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must be put to death [Exodus 31:14-15; Exodus 35:1-2; Deuteronomy 27:26; Matthew 5:18]; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.” 36 So all the congregation [Heb. edah] brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death with stones, just as the Lord had commanded Moses. (NASB) Deuteronomy 4:1 “Now, Israel, listen to the statutes and the judgments which I am teaching you to perform, so that you will live and go in and take possession of the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, is giving you. 2 You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, >>>> nor take away from it, > not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law,
If you read Deuteronomy 18:10,14 you may have an idea about what Paul is speaking about. The KJV says " ye observe times" or Leviticus 19:26 speaks about observance of times. Even 1kings 12:32, 33 can give us an idea that there were some other days set aside by the pagan nations
Paul condemns PAGAN DAYS AND MONTHS AND PAGAN FESTIVALS TO IDOLS AND FALSE GODS, not God's HOLY DAYS and GOD'S HOLY SABBATH. This is NOT a scripture that is condemning observance of holy days GOD instituted through Moses.
@@YeshuaKingMessiah we don't make sacrifices because there is no temple. Paul made sacrifices in Acts 21. Circumcised hearts is part of the first covenant and goes hand in hand with circumcised flesh.
@@drwells Circumcision of the heart is NOT part of the Old Testament. No heart was circumcised by the Holy Spirit until AFTER the cross and the Holy Spirit given on Pentecost….the first day of the week. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 KJV Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; [22] Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. Only those who have called upon the name of Christ are circumcised by the Holy Spirit. No one before Christ came ever called upon Jesus Christ for salvation. G-d bless you all in Chr-st. How beautiful it is to share the holy days with our brethren in our Lord Jesus and our Father in heaven. What a delight and blessing.
I was taught that the Elementary Principles in the text is the word stoicheion, which are the rudimentary elements; earth, air, wind and fire type elements which the pagans thought were spirits or even gods.
@bawbjusbawb6471 thanks for the answer I didn't want to watch the couple hundred videos to find out. He implied here that if you are ignorant of it you are ok but once you know you are required.
Well done, but it seems that you lacked the final coup de gras ie. presenting specifics on the pagan rituals that the pagans celebrated. surely there's some historical evidence such as how the church eventually began celebrating what today is known as Christmas
A good presentation. Paul was a fervent follower of Jesus and the 10 Commandment Law contains the weekly seventh day Sabbath, God's holy day of rest that He gave mankind to enjoy with Him. The "days" and "months," etc, can infer the ritualistic ceremonial celebrations of the pagan arena & also that which came from OT celebrations that *were* "a shadow of things to come." The latter pertained to the promised Messiah, Jesus Christ. The Jewish/Christian festivals are not the ceremonial celebrations, but some were a foreshadow of things to come. The festivals are still honored by those who wish to maintain a biblical association with the things they represented and still do to some extent. *Passover and Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles.* Some festivals have been integrated into other practices in some faiths other than the Jewish community, while others are not kept by the Christian community. One actually points to when Jesus will come to collect the redeemed from the earth, along with the wedding festival celebrated in heaven at the great banquet table of the Lord. - Since Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the sacrificial system by giving up His life on the cross at Golgotha/Calvary, those religious celebrations/rituals that pointed to Him are not meant to be kept any longer, otherwise we make His sacrifice null and void in our life. - The Sabbath day however is to be kept on a weekly basis and was never a shadow of things to come. It is a perpetual reminder of God's creative power, even throughout eternity [Isaiah 66:22, 23]. It was established *before* sin entered the world, just as marriage had... and we don't claim that marriage was done away with at the cross. Those who object to the Moral Law is actually just rebelling against the 4th commandment which is about the Sabbath [Exodus 20:8-11] since it honors the Creator & Redeemer God and shows He is Lord over those who desire to be faithful to Him (Lev. 20:26; Eze. 20:19, 20; John 1:1-4, 14; 17:5; Col. 1:13-20; Heb.1:3; 2:11). Circumcision was a covenant sign between God and those who followed Yahweh/Jesus. It not a requirement for integration into the early Christian church, since we are all equal at the foot of the cross, but the Sabbath and the Moral Law was. For those who are born of God keep themselves from consciously breaking His Law, yet those who habitually rebel won't inherit the kingdom of heaven because they persistently break His Code of Ethics found in the Decalogue. Mat. 7:21; 2 Tim. 3:1-7
"Some festivals have been integrated into other practices in some faiths other than the Jewish community, while others are not kept by the Christian community. " This is also known as "Syncretizing"... "Since Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the sacrificial system by giving up His life on the cross at Golgotha/Calvary, those religious celebrations/rituals that pointed to Him are not meant to be kept any longer, otherwise we make His sacrifice null and void in our life. " I guess the Apostles, especially Paul, didn't get that memo? Because the Apostles continued to offer sacrifices at the Temple AFTER Yeshua ascended into heaven... Not all sacrifices were for sin... YeHoVaH never compartmentalized HIS Laws into "moral laws" or "ceremonial laws"... (This is man-made just like the number 613) The "New Covenant" puts GOD's Laws on the hearts of Believers... GOD does not change... GOD's Laws do not change... The "Early Christian Church" was the beginning of the falling away into apostasy... They gave up the 7th Day Sabbath for "the Lord's Day... They syncretized EVERY abominated heathen practice into the worship of a Holy GOD... (Christmas and Easter) Mark 7:6 through 8 - 6Jesus answered them, “Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 7 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’ 8You have disregarded the commandment of God to keep the tradition of men.”
@@bawbjusbawb6471 the things the Israelites did during their travels in the desert and afterwards that dealt with the lamb offering was ceremonial and it DID represent what Yeshua/Jesus would do on the cross. That was not what the apostles continued in since they knew He fulfilled that requirement which was merely a shadow of things (His sacrifice) to come. The 10 Commandments was a guide for people to live by, and when they broke it, they brought their sacrifice signifying the payment Jesus would make once for all time and for everyone.
@@bawbjusbawb6471 The true Lord's Day is the Sabbath... not Sunday. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath, and therefore, the Lord's Day is the seventh day of the week, not the first day. Those who claim what you did are going by what the Catholic church has hijacked and made their own. The same goes for the apostles whom you claim continued to make sacrifices for sin after Jesus ascended to heaven. Where's your proof? You claim they gave up honoring the Sabbath for Sunday. That also is false. Where is your proof the faithful apostles did such? There is absolutely no credible evidence to prove your claim.
@@itzcaseykc I did not claim they continued sacrifices for sin... I stated the Apostles continued to bring sacrifices to the Temple after Yeshua Ascended... My proof/credible is in the New Testament... Specifically in the Book of Acts: Day of Pentecost Acts 2:2 When the Day of Shavuot (Pentecost) had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Luke wrote the book of Acts many years after Christ’s death and he referred to the Day of Atonement calling it the “Fast”, So why was Paul still observing all of these Feasts years after Yeshua's Ascension, if the sacrifices were abolished and no longer needed? Wouldn't Paul have received the revelations on the road to Damascus, when Jesus revealed himself to him that they were no longer needed? Paul was a Pharisee. He was one of the most learned men among the disciples. If he kept the feast days after Christ there was a reason for it. Of course there are some people who think everything in Jewish practice was abolished after Yeshua arose from the grave. That's not true either. Not all sacrifices were "Sin Sacrifices"... There were "wave offerings" (for Shavuot) There were "friendship offerings"... And there were also sacrifices to complete vows (Nazarene Vows)...
@@bawbjusbawb6471 Sacrifices and offerings are two different things. Celebrating some of the 7 festivities after Golgotha had another meaning now that Yeshua/Jesus had risen and ascended to heaven. Also, the apostles were told by Him to stay in Jerusalem until they received the Comforter/Holy Ghost which came at Pentecost. Their anointing was necessary *before* going out unto the whole world to spread the Good News. They also had to put aside their differences and hunger for power. Sure a few like Peter and Paul saw some things differently, but that was something altogether on a another scale.
The way I see it is that Paul lets you know what is inside you. If your lawless and want to justify yourself - this just becomes evident as you try to defend lawlessness. Too bad we can not get free from the millions of laws our governments give us. The laws of the Nations are the laws that are oppressive. You have to feel sorry for the gentiles who have been deceived by their own natural desires which rage in the flesh. This just becomes very clear and evident when someone acts in this way. Don’t worry about speaking the truth until they have a change of heart. Sunday becomes the he day they observe instead. They still do the thing they didn’t want to do.
If you read the rest of that chapter, you’ll see, there are two covenants, covenant of the law and covenant of promise. Those under the law will not receive the inheritance that God gave to Abraham and his seed. Galatians 3:16-18,29 KJVS Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. [17] And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. [18] For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. [29] And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

What is your interpretation of Paul vs Yahushu concerning eating meat sacrifice to idols? (Paul) - 1 Corinthians 8:4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. (Yahusha) - Revelation 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, TO EAT THINGS SACRIFICED UNTO IDOLS, and to commit fornication.
*The first seven days of creation are separate from each other, aren't they ?* The second to seventh day are not any part of the first day ! This therefore means that the first millennial-week is long over, and we are actually nearing the end of the sixth-millennial-day of the second- millennial-week, ending with His second "day of rest" ! The chronology in the Septuagint is a few hundred years longer than in the Masoretic Text: The imminent millennial reign of Christ on earth coincides with Yahweh's 2nd 'day' of rest - "and His rest shall be glorious" because His Son is ruling on earth for that 1000-year-day. Will we qualify to enter into that glorious "day" of rest ? So if Yahweh's first "day" of rest was ALSO a thousand-year-day, in which Adam died at 930 years old "in the same day" he sinned, and Adam was created near the end of the previous 6th 'day', then we are currently near the end of the 13th thousand-year-day which actually ends on the "great and dreadful day of the Lord" on the 20th March 2031. (This date is determined by establishing the 30 AD full moon Passover crucifixion after the Vernal Equinox.) The "great and dreadful day of the Lord" is not the same day as Christ's second advent, which comes sometime afterwards. The former is totally different in character to the latter. In the former, the wicked are fearfully running about and are burnt up while the righteous are safe in their "prayer chambers". Sometime afterwards, we don't know exactly when, the advent of Christ is seen by all the world's survivers - who were not removed. In Hosea 6:1-3, we don't know exactly when "in the third day" the second advent of Christ actually occurs - how long after the "great and dreadful day of the LORD" ending the "second day" of Hosea 6:1-3, but it logically occurs in that sequence. The millennial "day of (Yahweh's) rest" has to be the "third day" of Hosea 6:1-3, therefore the removal of the wicked has to occur before that - at the end of the "second day". Most people looking at Hosea 6:1-3 see day-one and day-two as the post resurrection Christian era, which places us now very close to the end of "day two". I reckon "day one" starts after the inclusive Biblical year of Christ's resurrection of 30AD - i.e. starting on 21st March/1st Abib in 31AD. Therefore "the third day" during which Christians are "raised up" and those who are left see Christ return, starts on the 21st March 2031. How long "in the third day" of Hosea 6:1-3 this occurs, we don't know - how long will they mourn before He "wipes the tears from their eyes" we don't know, but the Last Day of "the second day" has to fulfill the removal of the wicked - because they will be "ashes under the feet" of the righteous "in the third day". This clarifies that a date cannot be given for the Second Advent other than the "third day" of Hosea 6:1-3. Man/Adam was created in the 6th day. There was no sun and stars for day-one, day-two and day-three, so where were these three days to be "seen", and how long were they ? I believe all the creation days were "Heavenly Temple Days" that are each equal to 1000 earthly years. Adam was created at the end of day-six and died near the end of day-seven during Yahweh's FIRST "day of rest", at 930 years old - he died in the same millennial 'day' that he sinned, as Yahweh had warned him ! Christ's incarnation was at the end of the fourth-day of the SECOND week - the eleventh-millennial-day. We are currently nearing the end of the second "day" of Hosea 6:1-3, ending on the "great and dreadful day of the Lord" on the 20th March 2031 - followed by Christ's second advent sometime soon "in the third day" since His resurrection in 30AD. We are therefore nearing the end of the 13th-thousand-year-millennium before Yahweh's imminent SECOND "day" of rest (14th millennium): "and his rest shall be glorious" (Isaiah 11:10) because His Son will be ruling and reigning in His Kingdom on Earth - will we be found worthy to enter into His second "day of rest" ? Thirteen is a significant number in the Bible. 12 disciples and Christ the Thirteenth etc. On the Biblical annual calendar there are thirteen days from when the Passover lamb is selected as Christ came down the Mount of Olives on a donkey, to Exodus 15:25. There are Thirteen days from the "Day of Atonement" to the "Last Great Day." There are Thirteen days from Pentacost to the first Marriage of Israel in the wilderness. There are Thirteen days from Christmas day to the Epiphany on the Gregorian calendar. There are Thirteen days from the cosmic rising, to the helical rising of Sirius on the last day of the 4th Biblical month, that overlapped the lifespan of Christ ending the 4th Millennium of our current millennial week. We are now nearing the very end of the 13th-thousand-year-millennial-day before the 14th millennium that is Yahweh's SECOND "day of rest".
If you think you have to keep the law of Moses, then that means you have to sacrifice animals for your sins because that was part of the law. 6:18 That would erase and void the sacrifice of Jesus which would be an abomination. Regarding the sabbath that was established after creation, the sixth day way before the law of Moses. So there’s nothing wrong with keeping the sabbath.

If you think that you aren't supposed to keep GOD's Laws, then you haven't read what the "New Covenant" entails... (Jeremiah 31:31 through 33 and Hebrews 8:8 through 10) If you think that Yeshua's ascension did away with GOD's Laws concerning sacrifices, then can you explain to me why the Apostles continued to offer sacrifices until 70 A.D. If you think that you don't have to keep the "Laws of Moses" (they are actually GOD'S Laws), then are you having sex with all your relatives and farm animals? (If not then you ARE "keeping the Law of Moses")
Jesus, the apostles and the early church kept those days, so was Jesus a slave to them? He said He came to fulfill the law/fill it with meaning. Please google the history of why these days were “dropped” by the church and replaced by Christmas (the birth day of most pagan gods) and Easter, the celebration of the fertility goddess Ishtar; and Halloween a holiday which is celebrated by Satanist, Wicca and people who practice witchcraft. Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
The Sabbath no longer exist because the Romans did not only destroy the temple, but also the 7th day order, from the creation. They made the week 8 day. Constantine the great turned it back to 7 days. Up to the time of Jesus it was the original order of 7 days after creation which also Jesus kept, but different. Jesus healed on the Sabbath, If you want to keep the Sabbath according to the law, don't go to the hospital on Saturday for an emergency. We need to keep a one out of 7 days of rest to give glory to God. There is no better day than the Day when Jesus rested from ALL His work. It was on the first day early in the morning. that is why our day of rest start at the morning till Monday, early in the morning, and not from sun down to sundown. Christians have met on the first day of the week, or Sunday, since the early church to commemorate Jesus' resurrection and to practice Christian worship. And so, apparently, in honor of their Risen Lord, Christians gathering on Sunday to share communion and hear sermons: Acts 20:7 "And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow, and continued his speech until midnight" John says in Rev.1:10 “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day.” He was referring to the fact that it was a Sunday when he received this revelation. Since Jesus rose on the 1st day, that day became known as The Lord’s Day.
Obviously, you have not carefully read the third and fourth chapter of Galatians. There are two covenants. Covenant of the law and covenant of promise. Galatians 4:21-31 KJVS Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? [22] For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. [23] But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. [24] Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. [25] For this *****Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. ******[26] But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. [27] For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. [28] Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. [29] But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. [30] Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. [31] So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free. Galatians 3:9-11,13-14,16-19 KJVS So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. [10] For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. [11] But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. [13] Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: [14] That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. [16] Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. [19] Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. Apostle Paul was well educated under the law of Moses, and I dare say his knowledge of both the law of Moses and Christian theology exceeds your own. And one thing, people often do is try to drive a wedge between the gospels to the gentiles and circumcision. Some of which apostle Peter addressed in his last epistle 2 Peter 3:15-18 KJVS And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; [16] As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. [17] Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. [18] But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. Go ahead and wrestle away.
"gentiles and circumcision." Once you accept Yeshua as Messiah you are "Grafted IN" to Israel. (Romans 11) And you are no longer a foreigner, of the nations or a gentile, but a citizen of Israel. (Ephesians 2:19 and 1 Corinthians 12:2) There is NO SUCH THING as a Jewish or Gentile "Christian". (Galatians 3:26 through 29 and Galatians 3:7) People who CLAIM to follow Yeshua the Messiah thinking they are still a gentile is one of the things that have caused so much confusion and so many false teachings in "the church"... If they are still a gentile, then they have NO PLACE in any of the Covenants or the Blessings of Israel. (Jeremiah 31:31-33 and Hebrews 8:8 through 10) BUT... If they INSIST as being counted as a "Gentile", then they will be counted as "the Nations" who come up to the Kingdom, not part of the Kingdom... (Micah 4:2, Zechariah 14:17) There are NO "Gentile" gates or a "Church" gate in the Kingdom... (Revelation 21:12) The Apostle Paul would look at you like you had 4 heads if you asked him about "Christian theology"...🤣 WHO was/is the children of Hagar? People who believe Allah is their god... WHO was/is the children of Jacob? People who KNOW YeHoVaH is GOD... Given these little nuggets, tell me what bondage is...
The Sabbath of YHWH is the fourth commandment, and we should remember to keep it holy every seventh day of the week. But, I question keeping the festivals. Take the Passover as an example. According to the Mosaic Law, one must go to Jerusalem to observe it. Further, there is no priesthood or temple in Jerusalem since 70 AD.
Shalom @ronwallie3207, Thanks for reaching out. Correct, we cannot truly keep the Mo'edims at this time because we do not have the temple or the priests, and we are not in the land. However, we do keep them in memorial and as a rehearsal for what is to come. We hope that helps. Blessings to you and yours
I've found quite a few Biblically sound contradictions to your statement: According to Exodus 12:14 - And this day will be a memorial for you, and you are to celebrate it as a feast to the LORD, as a permanent statute for the generations to come. (We are to keep the Passover as a PERMANENT statute for generations to come) Where is the Temple now? (Corinthians 3:16) And WHO is our High Priest? (Hebrews 4:14) Can we still make "acceptable sacrifices" to YeHoVaH? (Psalm 51:17) Can we present offerings to our High Priest? (Matthew 25:40) Also, this is wrong: "Mosaic Law, one must go to Jerusalem" The "Mosaic Law,' states NOTHING about being in Jerusalem to perform the Passover... (Book, Chapter, Verse?) In fact, according to the Book of Joshua 5:10, the Passover was done in Gilgal... We are to celebrate the Feasts "where YeHoVaH puts His Name"... (2 Corinthians 1:22) YeHoVaH put His Name on Israel... (Numbers 6:27) Believers in Yeshua ARE Israel... (Romans 11) Also, Yeshua the Messiah told us: John 4:21 - “Believe Me, woman,” Jesus replied, “a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. And the Apostle Paul said after Yeshua's Ascension: 1 Corinthians 5:8 - THEREFORE LET US KEEP THE FEAST, not with the old bread, leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and of truth. I'm not a priest and I'm pretty sure you're not one either... So, we don't have the authority to slaughter a lamb and put it on an altar... But the verses above should give you an idea of HOW we are to "Keep the Passover"...
Are you still keeping Passover? Are you killing a lamb each year? Why not? Because Christ is our Passover Lamb. Christ has fulfilled it all. He is our Sabbath Rest. We rest in the finished work He did on the cross. The only observance Jesus commanded was the Lord's Supper. This is my blood; this is my flesh. Do this in remembrance of Me.
Are you NOT keeping the Passover? Why NOT? 1 Corinthians 5:7 and 8 -7Get rid of the old leaven, that you may be a new unleavened batch, as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. 8THEREFORE LET US KEEP THE FEAST not with the old bread, leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and of truth. The verse above also explains WHY we don't need to slaughter a lamb... Yeshua is our SPIRITUAL REST, He did NOT become a day of the week. You have the Messiah confused with the anti-messiah... (Daniel 7:25) The only observance Yeshua commanded was what His Father commanded: I come speaking not my own Words, but my Fathers... (John 14:10) Also: Matthew 23:2 and 3 - "The scribes and Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3SO PRACTICE EVERYTHING THEY TELL YOU. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. Yeshua also told us that NOT ONE JOT OR TITTLE would pass from the law... And those who go around teaching people not to follow the Commandments would be called least int he kingdom...
In Deut. it says the laws were given to to show to the world the wisdom of Israel. Interesting enough, what got me interested in reading the first 5 was how David wrote about it in his Psalms..
Your arguments involve a lot of supposition and assumption. You ignore many of the arguments of the so-called "antinomians" and zero in on one or two of the least important ones. If Paul actually supported the idea of these Christians from pagan backgrounds keeping biblical feasts, then why is there no instruction in those feasts, what they are and why former pagans, who knew nothing about Jewish feasts, should keep them? There is no such teaching in any of Paul's writings (or anywhere else in the NT). While Jesus did make the statement you referred to about teaching the law and keeping of commandments, He did not specifically address the issue of the sabbath or the feasts. In fact, neither Jesus, nor Paul nor any other NT writer specifically ever told the Christians that they needed to keep the sabbath or the feasts. There is no instruction for that anywhere in the NT. In the Book of Acts, there is no evidence that the early church kept the Sabbath, taught others to keep the Sabbath or to keep the feasts. There is also no evidence that the apostles or early Christians in Acts actually kept the Sabbath or the feasts. In every case, when Paul or any of the apostles are in the synagogues during Sabbath, they are there for the purpose of evangelism of the Jews in that community. In Acts 15, the Apostles had a council to address the specific issue of how much of the law the gentile Christians should be expected to keep. The conclusion they reaches as essentially that they were not required to keep the law of Moses. This is their conclusion, as recorded in Acts 15:23-29: Act 15:23-29 "And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: (24) Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we WE GAVE NO SUCH COMMANDMENT: (25) It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, (26) Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (27) We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth. (28) For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; (29) That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well." I have never seen anyone who promotes the idea of Christians keeping the Sabbath and the feasts deal with this groundbreaking council decision of the Apostles in the early history of the church. They simply ignore it.
@@OneHighwayWalker Nothing confusing about that, though I don't fully agree or subscribe though. It's wasn't the content but rather the production my comment was about. @@OneHighwayWalker Who gives you the authority to command the keeping of the Jewish sabbath and Jewish feast? Christians are only required to obey the SAYINGS of Jesus, not His doings: Deuteronomy 18:18-19 KJV I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put MY WORDS IN HIS MOUTH; and HE SHALL SPEAK unto them all that I shall command him. [19] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not HEARKEN unto MY WORDS which he shall SPEAK in my name, I WILL REQUIRE it of him. John 12:48-49 KJV He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not MY WORDS, hath one that judgeth him: THE WORD THAT I HAVE SPOKEN, the same SHALL JUDGE HIM in the last day. [49] For I have not SPOKEN of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should SAY, and what I should SPEAK. John 14:23-25 KJV Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will KEEP MY WORDS: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. [24] He that loveth me not keepeth not my SAYINGS: and THE WORD which ye HEAR is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. [25] These things have I SPOKEN unto you, BEING YET PRESENT WITH YOU. Jesus NEVER commanded the keeping of any feast or sabbaths to the Gentile Christians/Church. Never. To ADD to His sayings is not wise: Matthew 7:24 KJV Therefore whosoever heareth these SAYINGS OF MINE, and DOETH THEM, I will liken him unto A WISE MAN, which built his house upon a rock: I say that it would not be wise to do things that were not included in the SAYINGS/COMMANDS of Christ that He SPOKE while He was with His Apostles! This is what is SPOKEN about days and feasts: Romans 14:4-6 KJV Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. [5] One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. [6] He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. I am under my Master Christ Jesus my Lord. I don’t let anybody else worry me about days of resting or feasting. Easy
Is Harden Jesus? Galations 1 just blows all of your theories out of the water. “But when I saw that their conduct was not in step with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, “If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”” Galatians 2:14 ESV Or this verse. Or the entire book of Hebrews. Or the great commission. Sorry, friend. Paul’s readers are being influenced by Judaizers and not Pagans. All of your interpretations are about picking out Mosaic laws you want to follow, which, for some reason, weren’t fulfilled by the promised Messiah. Or better yet, let me know when you re-establish the Levitical priesthood, rebuild the holiest of holies, and have blood sacrifices.
Galatians from start to finish is about the Jewish man made traditions whom Paul left. You guys are now following the wrong side. I'm sorry please wake up
The Sabbath and God's festivals or appointed times are not man-made traditions, but God-ordained. Some traditions may have been added to them, but one can read the Scripture to see what the actual requirements are, and they aren't difficult. The easy yoke.
Paul was a false prophet. Peter was a student of Yeshua. NOT PAUL. So, who do you think was actually right in the dispute between Peter and Paul recorded in Galatians? Peter would have known Yeshua and his teachings much better than Paul. Additionally, why do we never see Peter's response to Paul? There are also numerous times that Paul goes against the teachings of the Messiah. In that case, I say we defenestrate Paul and his writings. Stop wasting your time with Paul's nonsense.
Paul was the chose vessel to bring the Gospel to the Gentiles... (Acts 9:15) Peter considered him a brother... (2 Peter 3:15) While you're in 2 Peter also refer to 2 Peter 3:15 through 17 - 15Consider also that our Lord’s patience brings salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom God gave him. 16He writes this way in all his letters, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which IGNORANT AND UNSTABLE PEOPLE DISTORT, AS THEY DO THE REST OF THE SCRIPTURES, to their own destruction. 17Therefore, beloved, since you already know these things, be on your guard so that you will not be CARRIED AWAY BY THE ERROR OF THE LAWLESS and fall from your secure standing. THAT was "Peter's response to Paul"... Paul's writings were not nonsense...
Col 2:17 "Which are but a shadow of things to come: but the body is in Christ." We serve the substance, the reality of Christ, and not the shadows of sabbaths and festivals.
Colossians, as in others, were a letter meant to be read in its entirety. Colossians 2 contains an inclusio that the context is sandwiched between qualifiers. It starts with exhorting not to be deceived by philosophy, human tradition and ways of the world. It also ends with this reminder using ways of the world and self-made religion. Both of these qualifiers immediately dismiss the possibility of Yah's Sabbath, Feasts, etc because they were not of man. So in context, He was exhorting them to not let others outside and/or religious people judge them for KEEPING Yah's Sabbath, feasts, etc because the substance is of Messiah. The biggest thing to point out the qualifiers in, I believe, verse 8 and 23 where it says to not be deceived by. Food for thought for those using this against God's appointed times, by the traditional use of v16-17, they would have to admit that their interpretation makes God a man-made religion, based on those qualifiers. This will cause them to wrestle with that popular interpretation (& prayerfully reconsider).
@@RealDefinitionsMatter Gal 5:4 "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace." The Law was expunged from the earth when God had Rome come in and destroy it all in 70AD. There are no sabbath nor holy days NOW. It was all done away then by God's direction. And when did any Hebrews observe those sabbaths and holy days prior to coming out of Egypt? They didn't!
@@makarov138 Exactly, they were still in Egypt. Believers aren't in "Egypt" anymore. They have been brought out and given the way to live in God's kingdom, i.e., His laws, commandments, rules, statutes, etc. Being "justified by the law" is the belief that one can work their way into the kingdom. We can't. We are saved by faith (believing God). If we believe God, we will do the things that please Him which He has spelled out in Scripture. Jesus/Yeshua is the High Priest currently, so there are no Levitical duties being performed on earth. That doesn't negate everything that can be done. If law was expunged, do you murder, steal, lie, commit adultery? If so, you won't enter the kingdom. So, yes, the Law is still in force.
@@OneHighwayWalker Most believers or their ancestors were NEVER in Egypt. Everything that Israel was required to do at the PHYSICAL arena are now done in the SPIRITUAL arena by Christians AFTER the Cross. Our worship must be via the spirit to please God…..as said by Christ: John 4:23-24 KJV But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. [24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. That rules out everything physical….circumcision of the flesh, sacrifice of animals, resting the body, washings, feasts, etc. This is realized completely by the Christians who have actually suffered persecution and imprisonment. The majority of Christians around the world CANNOT follow all the physical things mentioned in this video. The ideas set forth in this video are only conducive to people that live where religious liberty is granted. Most Christians in Iran cannot “keep the law” or “keep the Jewish sabbath” as is required by “sabbath keepers”. Most Christian’s in North Korea can’t either. But they can all worship God in spirit…..easy.
Days, months, seasons and years in this sequence *always* refers to Sabbath of the: week, month, festivals and years. Look up on all of Paul’s or any OT’s writing and you will find that those ceremonials days are always presented in crescent or decrescent order. Just like in Col. 2:16. If it’s not the case please show an example that does not follow this biblical standard.
I don't want to be dismissive. I cannot answer what you ask tonight. But I'd like to say that I grew up reading the Bible and trying to follow it. My instinctive response is: First of all, if Moses meant to refer to them that way, you would hear it ad nauseum, as he really liked to repeat a message, at least three times usually, sometimes again in the same verse, but Sabbath presentations throughout the Torah tend to be disordered compared to each other; I've never heard a sermon in 49 years that could harmonize one, much less all, the festival observances smoothly. I think if you tried to seek how to observe one, you might see how God challenges you to seek Him and know Him. Second, I have been impressed that God's value of His Sabbath rests in the following order: 1. The 7th day from creation was His sign of His covenant with His people. This seems to last for all generations and carry His name to each person 2. God wanted to see at least a representative of each family 3 times a year commensurate with the main harvests/times of plenty and fellowship to share with His scribes and learn about who He is 3. God had a forward-looking understanding to share in the jubilee. Principles such as we are only caring for His creation and should rest it every 7th year, that we can trust Him to care for us through a Sabbath year, that we need to offer (and seek) second chances in the year of release, and that we look forward to the ultimate harvest of souls I've not met people fellowshipping on God's Sabbaths that worshipped the calendar like pagans with the pyramids, ziggurats, Mayans, wiccans, etc, who build temples dedicated to astronomy, special days, every solstice, every moon, calling on mythic and historic demons by name and practice, and the such. If I had more time than this I would study your question with you as I am curious too, but I ask that you look at it from the perspective of seeking Him before dismissing this presentation.
@@Stephanie-qf5wd I watched the presentation but there was nothing new for me. I’ve discussed those arguments several times with other people. I don’t think Sabbath keeping on the 7th day has anything to do with salvation, keep or loose. I gave proof Col. 2:16 talks about, among others, the 7th day Sabbath. That should be the end of discussion but sadly people really love the shadow. I used to love that shadow too but once I found the owner of the shadow, there is no coming back to me. God bless you on your search for the truth.
The old covenant was replaced at the death of Jesus, by the new covenant. 2 Cor 3 talks about this. He calls the Old Covenant the covenant of death. In verses 14-15 it says when the old covenant is read, a veil covers their hearts. And verse 16 says when someone turns to the Lord the veil is taken away v 17 “where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” Paul went to synagogue on Sabbath, to preach the gospel, not to worship in the old way.
@@Banguelas Ok, so I don't think anyone said the 7th day sabbath was the means to salvation. The discussion was about whether "weeks, months, festivals and years" referred to the Torah that Jesus and the apostles observed or to the practices of the Gentiles. The only two examples given were in Galatians and Colossians when Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles, was writing comments in letters to Gentiles about leaving their old practices. If you provided specific scripture references from "any OT's writing", it would be easier to discuss why you think Paul is referring to God's sabbaths. A logical order to a list is not much to draw a conclusion from, as every person I've met at work or play speaks with incremental time. Without that, I just shared my experience that it's not normal for Christians following Jesus' ways to think that way, while it is the hallmark of pagans to do just so. Jesus, the apostles, and the church have no problem observing the sabbaths while listening to God, living day to day, and keeping watch. It is the hallmark of pagans however to focus on calendars, as they build their temples to astronomy and star-watching; revere and teach magi; worship on all the equinoxes and demon days; make calendars of the years of rats, rabbits and dragons to try to determine the future; etc. I wish I understood why there is hurt over "loving the shadow" or thinking the 7th day sabbath is more than time dedicated to building a relationship with God. People say and teach bad things about salvation, usually to control. If talk of salvation is troubling you, please know that is not the intent here. This is just a place to share experience and friendship while seeking God.

The Holy Spirit and the Scriptures will tell me what I need to know... I don't listen to self proclaimed "prophets", especially FALSE prophets... And you are a FALSE prophet who has "predicted" things that never come to pass... WHAT do the Scriptures say about such prophets? Jeremiah 23:16 - "Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, filling you with vain hopes. They speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.'” 1 Timothy 4:1 - “Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons.” Ezekiel 13:3 - “Thus says the Lord God, Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!” 2 Corinthians 11:13 - “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.” Jeremiah 14:14 - “And the LORD said to me: ‘The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.'” Ezekiel 22:28 - “And her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD,’ when the LORD has not spoken.” Jeremiah 23:21 - “I did not send the prophets, yet they ran; I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied.” Jeremiah 23:25-26 - “I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in my name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’ How long shall there be lies in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, and who prophesy the deceit of their own heart?” How many times have you WRONGLY and FALSELY predicted the "rapture" and other Unbiblical nonsense? Jer 12:15 And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land. Jer 12:16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people. But "Circumcision" does not make you anything but "Obedient" and I am sure you are familiar with the verse... "...Eph 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Eph 5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them..." To teach that "Circumcision" is nothing is to again contradict GOD... HE said it was a "sign" between HIM and HIS People... That cannot change till Heaven and Earth pass... (Because they (Heaven and Earth) are the witnesses that HIS "Instructions" Law, are Eternal between HIS People and HIM... That leads right back to Moshe is taught Every Sabbath in every town... "...Act 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day..." my disagreement is that Paul was not teaching against "circumcision" but against The Reason, they thought they needed to be circumcised... He wanted each of them to go to the Synagogues and learn the Real Reason to be circumcised... That it was a sign of The Covenant with GOD for HIS People, whom they were becoming... "...Gen 17:9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. Gen 17:10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. Gen 17:11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you. Gen 17:12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed. Gen 17:13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. Gen 17:14 And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant. .." It cannot be any different than that... In that there is ONE Instruction (Law) for everyone that becomes HIS People... And for length I wont put that verse here...

That sounds good and dandy except Shaúl did not prohibit circumcision. Rather circumcision is an option, a choice of personal conscience. Obviously you got the same lying memo about Shaúl: Acts 21:21 "And they are informed of thee-(Shaúl), that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs. 22 What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come. 23 Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them; 24 Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law." What you just read should convince you that the rumor about Shaúl prohibiting circumcision is a lie. Now, concerning gentiles the following was decided. (As you read compare the KJV to other 4 versions and see if you catch a difference) Acts 21:25 KJV ---- "As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they [observe no such thing, save only that they] keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication. ASV (American Standard Version) "But as touching the Gentiles that have believed, we wrote, giving judgment that they should keep themselves from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what is strangled, and from fornication." OJB (Orthodox Jewish Bible) “And concerning the Goyim coming to [Orthodox Jewish] emunah, we have sent an iggeret with our decision that they avoid what is offered to elilim and dahm and what is strangled and zenut." ISV (International Standard Version) "As for the gentiles who have become believers, we have sent a letter with our decision that they should keep away from food that has been sacrificed to idols, from blood, from anything strangled, and from sexual immorality.” EXB (Expanded Bible) "We have already sent a letter [L with our judgment/decision] to the Gentile believers [C the decision of the council of Jerusalem; 15:6-21]. The letter said: ‘Do not eat food that has been offered to idols, or blood, or animals that have been strangled. Do not take part in sexual sin [15:20].’” Go back to the KJV, did you notice the text within the [brackets]? Did you also notice that the other versions do not have the part in brackets? Out of 59 versions, 13 have the added, "that they observe no such thing". Did ALAHAIM-(aka, ELOHIM or GOD) make one set of rules for Yews and a different set for gentiles? If you answered yes to that question then we have problem with the following: * Deuteronomy 16:19 "Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous." * Acts 10:34 "Then Peter opened [his] mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:" * Romans 2:11 "For there is no respect of persons with God." * Colossians 3:11 "Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond [nor] free: but Christ [is] all, and in all." * Romans 10:12 "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him." We already learned that the rumors about Shaúl prohibiting circumcision were lies. Shaúl didn't prohibit circumcision, but what did James mean when he concluded by adding the following to his decision? Acts 15:21 "For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day." A Failure to understand what the brother of MESSIAH meant by those words is why almost all Christians come to the wrong conclusion about the gentiles and circumcision. I'll come back here next Sabbath to see if anyone was able to explain what Acts 15:21 means. Only those who are learned are able to understand. SHALÓM HAVERIM P.D. I will add this about gentiles. No gentile will be saved as such. A gentile is defined as one who is "out or without Covenant". Anyone who embraces the Covenant is no longer a gentile. Doesn't matter if you are a Yew, you can still be a gentile. An very important thing to notice about New Yerushalaim (Revelation 21) is that there's no entry gate for gentiles; no windows to climb through either-(John.10:1) Anyone who enters must become part of the Commonwealth of YisraÉL. Scripture truly is, all about YisraÉL-(Rom.11:26).

I will put My law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people.… Hebrews 8:8 through 10 - 8But God found fault with the people and said: “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. 9It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, because they did not abide by My covenant, and I disregarded them, declares the Lord. 10For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds and inscribe them on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people. Please tell me who this "New Covenant" was made with... Please tell me what happened to the Laws of GOD in these verses... The "New Covenant" was NOT made with Gentiles... Once you accept Yeshua as Messiah you are "Grafted IN" to Israel. I don't believe he is teaching the law. Many denominations argue against observing any law or just the 4rth. I think if you look at the structure of the bible(the order of the books etc) one sees how one matures as a Christian. Why does one follow God? What does that look like? James describes it pretty well. Paul, in my opinion, does not argue against the law, he argues against the Talmud, which many Jews elevated above the Torah. God is the same, OT NT, yesterday today and tomorrow, he wants us to walk with him, our hearts.

God has always been gracious. His laws are loving because they teach us how to honor Him and get along with each other. There is nothing in the Law that is detrimental. It sets us apart. That makes us a light set on a hill. The Law is to drive us to the Savior. It shows us who we really are. When we realize how we have offended God, how gracious He is to forgive us and the price He paid, we should respond in thankfulness and not want to continue to offend Him. We are freed from sin to become slaves to righteousness. Only the Law shows us what righteousness looks like.

When did GOD give ANY Covenant with anyone except the House of Israel and the House of Judah? ref: Jeremiah 31:31 through 33 and Hebrews 8:8 through 10
According to Jeremiah 31:31 through 33 and Hebrews 8:8 through 10 the "New Covenant was made witht he House of Judah and the House of Israel... NOT GENTILES... Once you accept Yeshua as Messiah you are "Grafted IN" to Israel. (Revelation 21:12)

A day of rest can never be bondage
Hi
Unless Pharasee is running enforcement
That depends on how you keep it. If you do it in strict ways, full of forbidden things to do, it becomes bondage (I.e. the 613 rules added to the Torah by rabbis).
@gerriebell2128 that's why it's important to differentiate between God's commandments and those of rabbi or any other persons, only the word of God and what christ taught. Biblical rest is given by God.

Yes, you pointed out this chapter to me, but the only ones who are twisting Apostle Paul words are the “sabbath keepers” and “law keepers” (supposedly, since even the Jews could not even “keep the law”). Acts 15 is clear that ALL THE APOSTLES were in agreement that no gentile Christian was required to “keep the law”. They said: “WE GAVE NO SUCH COMMANDMENT”!! Only an ignorant person will twist that clear statement.
Acts 15:24 KJV
Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
Those who say “keep the law” are “subverting your souls”.

It is too bad that Jesus didn’t say what you just said. Since He didn’t say that nor did He have the Apostles say it, your words do not stand. Just the fact that Jesus DEFENDED His disciples for harvesting their food on the Jewish sabbath stands AGAINST your words. Their gathering food on the seventh day was in complete disregard of the Jewish sabbath law:
Exodus 16:28-30 KJV
And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?
Cheers

What’s interesting is that Christians say we should “no longer” keep Biblical Feast Days, etc. but when did we ever?
1 Corinthians 11:1 - Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
-Paul says we are to imitate him like he did Christ, so lets see what Paul did. Here are examples of 5 of the 7 feasts being kept.
Day of Pentecost
Acts 2:2 When the Day of Shavuot (Pentecost) had fully come, they were all with one accord[a] in one place.
Passover and Unleavened Bread
Acts 20:6 - 6 But we sailed away from Philippi after the Days of Unleavened Bread, and in five days joined them at Troas, where we stayed seven days.
-Paul here is telling the New Testament Christians to keep the Passover and Unleavened bread,
1 Corinthians 11:23 through 25 - 23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat;[a] this is My body which is broken[b] for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
-Paul is describing the New Testament Passover service, that Jesus established with His disciples on the night before His crucifixion.
-Verse 3 shows that they were keeping the Passover and Unleavened bread,
Feast of Tabernacles
Acts 18:20 and 21 - 20 When they asked him to stay a longer time with them, he did not consent, 21 but took leave of them, saying, “I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem; but I will return again to you, God willing.” And he sailed from Ephesus.
The Day of Atonement
Acts 27:9 through 10 - 9 Now when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because the Fast was already over, Paul advised them, 10 saying, “Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives.”
-Paul is referring to the Fast on the Day of Atonement. Luke wrote the book of Acts many years after Christ’s death and he referred to the Day of Atonement calling it the “Fast”.

Nanos has to say about it in his book "Reading Paul within Judaism":( pg 89)
"When Paul says Peter is living like a gentile, or "gentilely", Paul is not accusing him of a Torah-free lifestyle, but of living justified by Christ just like the Gentiles are, not also by his standing as a Jew..."
@@cjr192
That makes sense.
"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love." -Galatians 5/6
"Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law." -Romans 13/10
Going full circle back to Galatians, separating oneself or alienating brothers and sisters based on status, race, or where they are in their walk with the Lord is not loving one's neighbor and therefore not fulfilling the law.
Thank you so much for replying to my comment. It really helped me search in the way I needed to finally understand it. I hope it was helpful to you as well.

God says in Genesis that the moon son and stars must show us season months days and years and events
The epistle to the Corinthians is almost 20 years after the epistle to the Galatians...so Paul would not have rebuked the Galatians for observing the Sabbath day and the feasts but later encourages the Corinthians to do so...
Where in the books to the Corinthian church does Apostle Paul “encourage” Christians to observe the Jewish sabbath day or to keep Jewish feasts??

1 Corinthians 11:23-28 KJV
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: [24] And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Matthew 28:19-20 KJV
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
1 Corinthians 10:25,27-28 KJV
Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake: [27] If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake. [28] But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof:
Eating pig is a delicacy here in PNG. If I am bid to eat at a chiefs house and he serves me pig, I am commanded by the Apostle Paul to eat it without asking any questions. Easy. And furthermore, I know how to make all creatures CLEAN/“sanctified”:
1 Timothy 4:3c-5 KJV
…….meats……God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
It was/is not a sign between Christians and God:
Exodus 31:13-14 KJV
Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
The Shepherd's Chapel for learning God's word
I say keep the Sabbath, and maybe Passover. Stop celebrating Easter Christmas Halloween or any other pagan holidays
@@jamesmoore2143
The Scriptures tell us to keep ALL the Sabbaths...
We ought to listen to GOD and not men...
Us or the isrealites?@@bawbjusbawb6471
That made sense. If one looks, I think it's in Deuteronomy, where it says to not even keep the gold of the statues of the pagan gods even after it was grounded, because it may tempt them. Pretty applicable to the Christian walk today, should we be doing what we were doing before? Many things to reflect on in this short teaching, thank you.
The law of Moses, the ceremonial law, and the Moral law, Ten Commandments, are two distinct things: one was nailed to the cross and the other binding:
The first two scriptures below tell us where Moses put the 10 commandments (Moral law). The second scripture tells us where he put the cerimonial law. The last scriptures tell us which one was nailed to the cross, abolished, and blotted out.
When the Ark is finished, place inside it the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, which I will give to you.
Exod.25.16NLT
He took the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant and placed them inside the Ark. Then he attached the carrying poles to the Ark, and he set the Ark’s cover-the place of atonement-on top of it.
Exod.40.20NLT
This scripture tells where Moses put the Ceremonial law. It was put it next to the ark
When Moses had finished writing this entire body of instruction in a book, he gave this command to the Levites who carried the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant: “Take this Book of Instruction and place it beside the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord your God, so it may remain there as a witness AGAINST the people of Israel.
Deut.31.24,Deut.31.25,Deut.31.26NLT
In these last two verses, Paul tells us which one was "nailed to the cross". It's the HANDWRITTEN ONE, the ordinances "that was AGAINST us". The one in the verse above that was "a witness against them"
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was AGAINST us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Col.2.14&KJV
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Eph.2.15KJV
We know and are certain he was not talking about the 10 commandments because he refers to the 5th commandment later in the book of Ephesians:
“Honor your father and mother.” This is the first commandment with a promise: If you honor your father and mother, “things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth.”
The, definite article, Sabbath, the 4th commandment, is part of the Moral law and therefore binding.
You are such a great thinker. I would love to hear your opinion on Paul preaching a different doctrine than Christ. Have you looked into that already?

The Galatians were originally Celtic people and held pagan rituals and beliefs.

Rites of passage, or initiation rites can also explain why Galations would think ... a lil circumcision pain for a few days and I'm in the club.
I'm actually curious if those who came from Antioch (still Galatia) were collecting skins like David and those 200. Literally boasting in the the collected Galation flesh.
Many pastors today keep a talley of how many they claim to have led to salvation....
What has been will be again ... nothing new under the sun...
@wadem4955 I don't think David collected foreskins to boast - he collected them to "win a bet."
If we don't understand it's how to preach to nonbelievers then we got no business reading it
I don't know how to greet you...Galatians 4 has nothing to do with the Sabbath and feasts...but the religious days and feasts of the Galatians which is Modern day Turkey of the pagans and that young believers were reverting to their pagan roots and not to the Sabbath or the feasts of the Lord - Leviticus 23

Exodus 35:1 Then Moses assembled all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and said to them, “These are the things that the Lord has commanded you to do: 2 “For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a holy day, a Sabbath of complete rest to the Lord [Exodus 20:8-11; Leviticus 23:1-3]; whoever does any work on it shall be put to death.“ (NASB)

How does one stay faithful to Yeshua and the gospel without getting physically circumcised?
Our hearts are now circumcised
We don’t make sacrifices either
@@YeshuaKingMessiah we don't make sacrifices because there is no temple. Paul made sacrifices in Acts 21. Circumcised hearts is part of the first covenant and goes hand in hand with circumcised flesh.

Circumcision of the heart is NOT part of the Old Testament. No heart was circumcised by the Holy Spirit until AFTER the cross and the Holy Spirit given on Pentecost….the first day of the week.

Only those who have called upon the name of Christ are circumcised by the Holy Spirit. No one before Christ came ever called upon Jesus Christ for salvation. That started at the New Testament era and it’s ratification by the Blood of Christ SHED ON CALVARY around 32AD.

*Passover and Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles.*
Some festivals have been integrated into other practices in some faiths other than the Jewish community, while others are not kept by the Christian community.
This is also known as "Syncretizing"...
"Since Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the sacrificial system by giving up His life on the cross at Golgotha/Calvary, those religious celebrations/rituals that pointed to Him are not meant to be kept any longer, otherwise we make His sacrifice null and void in our life. "
I guess the Apostles, especially Paul, didn't get that memo?
Because the Apostles continued to offer sacrifices at the Temple AFTER Yeshua ascended into heaven...
Not all sacrifices were for sin...
YeHoVaH never compartmentalized HIS Laws into "moral laws" or "ceremonial laws"... (This is man-made just like the number 613)
The "New Covenant" puts GOD's Laws on the hearts of Believers...
(Christmas and Easter)
Mark 7:6 through 8 - 6Jesus answered them, “Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me.
@@itzcaseykc
I did not claim they continued sacrifices for sin...
I stated the Apostles continued to bring sacrifices to the Temple after Yeshua Ascended...
My proof/credible is in the New Testament...
Specifically in the Book of Acts:
Day of Pentecost
Acts 2:2 When the Day of Shavuot (Pentecost) had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Passover and Unleavened Bread
Acts 20:6 - 6 But we sailed away from Philippi after the Days of Unleavened Bread, and in five days joined them at Troas, where we stayed seven days.
Luke wrote the book of Acts many years after Christ’s death and he referred to the Day of Atonement calling it the “Fast”,
So why was Paul still observing all of these Feasts years after Yeshua's Ascension, if the sacrifices were abolished and no longer needed?
Wouldn't Paul have received the revelations on the road to Damascus, when Jesus revealed himself to him that they were no longer needed?
Paul was a Pharisee. He was one of the most learned men among the disciples. If he kept the feast days after Christ there was a reason for it.
Of course there are some people who think everything in Jewish practice was abolished after Yeshua arose from the grave. That's not true either.
Not all sacrifices were "Sin Sacrifices"...
There were "wave offerings" (for Shavuot)
There were "friendship offerings"...
Galatians 3:16-18,29 KJVS
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made.
That is not true. Paul has always been misunderstood.
If you believe the whole Bible is true, does that include the parts "ellen "disagreed with?

The chronology in the Septuagint is a few hundred years longer than in the Masoretic Text:
The imminent millennial reign of Christ on earth coincides with Yahweh's 2nd 'day' of rest - "and His rest shall be glorious" because His Son is ruling on earth for that 1000-year-day.
(This date is determined by establishing the 30 AD full moon Passover crucifixion after the Vernal Equinox.)
The "great and dreadful day of the Lord" is not the same day as Christ's second advent, which comes sometime afterwards.
We are therefore nearing the end of the 13th-thousand-year-millennium before Yahweh's imminent SECOND "day" of rest (14th millennium):
"and his rest shall be glorious" (Isaiah 11:10) because His Son will be ruling and reigning in His Kingdom on Earth - will we be found worthy to enter into His second "day of rest" ?
Thirteen is a significant number in the Bible. 12 disciples and Christ the Thirteenth etc.
On the Biblical annual calendar there are thirteen days from when the Passover lamb is selected as Christ came down the Mount of Olives on a donkey, to Exodus 15:25.
There are Thirteen days from the "Day of Atonement" to the "Last Great Day."
There are Thirteen days from Pentacost to the first Marriage of Israel in the wilderness.

That was Judaism! Yahshua was AGAINST Judaism NOT His Fathers COMMANDMENTS. STUDY the Word. And this will all become more clear to you🙏🏻
If you think that you aren't supposed to keep GOD's Laws, then you haven't read what the "New Covenant" entails... (Jeremiah 31:31 through 33 and Hebrews 8:8 through 10)
If you think that Yeshua's ascension did away with GOD's Laws concerning sacrifices, then can you explain to me why the Apostles continued to offer sacrifices until 70 A.D.
If you think that you don't have to keep the "Laws of Moses" (they are actually GOD'S Laws), then are you having sex with all your relatives and farm animals? (If not then you ARE "keeping the Law of Moses")
It's not the Jewish calendar. It is Yah's calendar 😡😡😡😡
He says biblical calendar like 8x
Jesus, the apostles and the early church kept those days, so was Jesus a slave to them? He said He came to fulfill the law/fill it with meaning.
Please google the history of why these days were “dropped” by the church and replaced by Christmas (the birth day of most pagan gods) and Easter, the celebration of the fertility goddess Ishtar; and Halloween a holiday which is celebrated by Satanist, Wicca and people who practice witchcraft.
Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
Amen! (And it’s “make” you free 😊)
And so, apparently, in honor of their Risen Lord, Christians gathering on Sunday to share communion and hear sermons:
Acts 20:7 "And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow, and continued his speech until midnight" John says in Rev.1:10 “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day.” He was referring to the fact that it was a Sunday when he received this revelation. Since Jesus rose on the 1st day, that day became known as The Lord’s Day.
Obviously, you have not carefully read the third and fourth chapter of Galatians. There are two covenants. Covenant of the law and covenant of promise.
Galatians 4:21-31 KJVS
Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
Galatians 3:9-11,13-14,16-19 KJVS
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
Some of which apostle Peter addressed in his last epistle
2 Peter 3:15-18 KJVS
And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; [16] As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
"gentiles and circumcision."
Once you accept Yeshua as Messiah you are "Grafted IN" to Israel. (Romans 11)
And you are no longer a foreigner, of the nations or a gentile, but a citizen of Israel. (Ephesians 2:19 and 1 Corinthians 12:2)
There is NO SUCH THING as a Jewish or Gentile "Christian". (Galatians 3:26 through 29 and Galatians 3:7)
People who CLAIM to follow Yeshua the Messiah thinking they are still a gentile is one of the things that have caused so much confusion and so many false teachings in "the church"...
If they are still a gentile, then they have NO PLACE in any of the Covenants or the Blessings of Israel. (Jeremiah 31:31-33 and Hebrews 8:8 through 10)
BUT...
If they INSIST as being counted as a "Gentile", then they will be counted as "the Nations" who come up to the Kingdom, not part of the Kingdom... (Micah 4:2, Zechariah 14:17)
There are NO "Gentile" gates or a "Church" gate in the Kingdom... (Revelation 21:12)
The Apostle Paul would look at you like you had 4 heads if you asked him about "Christian theology"...🤣
WHO was/is the children of Hagar? People who believe Allah is their god...
WHO was/is the children of Jacob? People who KNOW YeHoVaH is GOD...
Given these little nuggets, tell me what bondage is...
The Sabbath of YHWH is the fourth commandment, and we should remember to keep it holy every seventh day of the week. But, I question keeping the festivals. Take the Passover as an example. According to the Mosaic Law, one must go to Jerusalem to observe it. Further, there is no priesthood or temple in Jerusalem since 70 AD.
Shalom @ronwallie3207,
Thanks for reaching out.
Correct, we cannot truly keep the Mo'edims at this time because we do not have the temple or the priests, and we are not in the land. However, we do keep them in memorial and as a rehearsal for what is to come.
We hope that helps.
Blessings to you and yours
I've found quite a few Biblically sound contradictions to your statement:
According to Exodus 12:14 - And this day will be a memorial for you, and you are to celebrate it as a feast to the LORD, as a permanent statute for the generations to come. (We are to keep the Passover as a PERMANENT statute for generations to come)
Where is the Temple now? (Corinthians 3:16)
And WHO is our High Priest? (Hebrews 4:14)
Can we still make "acceptable sacrifices" to YeHoVaH? (Psalm 51:17)
Can we present offerings to our High Priest? (Matthew 25:40)
Also, this is wrong: "Mosaic Law, one must go to Jerusalem"
The "Mosaic Law,' states NOTHING about being in Jerusalem to perform the Passover... (Book, Chapter, Verse?)
In fact, according to the Book of Joshua 5:10, the Passover was done in Gilgal...
We are to celebrate the Feasts "where YeHoVaH puts His Name"... (2 Corinthians 1:22)
YeHoVaH put His Name on Israel... (Numbers 6:27)
Believers in Yeshua ARE Israel... (Romans 11)
Also, Yeshua the Messiah told us: John 4:21 - “Believe Me, woman,” Jesus replied, “a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
And the Apostle Paul said after Yeshua's Ascension:
1 Corinthians 5:8 - THEREFORE LET US KEEP THE FEAST, not with the old bread, leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and of truth.
I'm not a priest and I'm pretty sure you're not one either...
So, we don't have the authority to slaughter a lamb and put it on an altar...
But the verses above should give you an idea of HOW we are to "Keep the Passover"...
Yeshua did not call his followers christians. He was not a white man.
Only the 10 commandments are required the festival was done away with Christ on the Cross ok
Pearlie Lane
(Daniel 7:25)
The only observance Yeshua commanded was what His Father commanded:
I come speaking not my own Words, but my Fathers... (John 14:10)
Also:
Matthew 23:2 and 3 - "The scribes and Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat.
I think it's Peter that calls Torah, the Law of Liberty!!...
It was actually James: "So speak and so do as those who will be judged by *the law of liberty* (Jas. 2:12).
In Deut. it says the laws were given to to show to the world the wisdom of Israel. Interesting enough, what got me interested in reading the first 5 was how David wrote about it in his Psalms..
"So shall I keep Your Law continually forever and ever; and I shall walk at LIBERTY: for I seek Your Precepts." Psalm 119:44-45

This is their conclusion, as recorded in Acts 15:23-29:
Act 15:23-29 "And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: (24) Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we WE GAVE NO SUCH COMMANDMENT: (25) It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, (26) Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Fare ye well."
I have never seen anyone who promotes the idea of Christians keeping the Sabbath and the feasts deal with this groundbreaking council decision of the Apostles in the early history of the church. They simply ignore it.
You didn't finish the conclusion. Therefore your statement is void of truth.
this video is far too confusing
Keep the Sabbath and festivals in Scripture; give up the world's pagan holidays, e.g., Christmas, Easter eggs and bunnies, Halloween, etc.

Who gives you the authority to command the keeping of the Jewish sabbath and Jewish feast? Christians are only required to obey the SAYINGS of Jesus, not His doings:
Deuteronomy 18:18-19 KJV
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put MY WORDS IN HIS MOUTH; and HE SHALL SPEAK unto them all that I shall command him. [19] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not HEARKEN unto MY WORDS which he shall SPEAK in my name, I WILL REQUIRE it of him.
John 12:48-49 KJV
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not MY WORDS, hath one that judgeth him: THE WORD THAT I HAVE SPOKEN, the same SHALL JUDGE HIM in the last day. [49] For I have not SPOKEN of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should SAY, and what I should SPEAK.
John 14:23-25 KJV
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will KEEP MY WORDS: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Never. To ADD to His sayings is not wise:
Matthew 7:24 KJV
Therefore whosoever heareth these SAYINGS OF MINE, and DOETH THEM, I will liken him unto A WISE MAN, which built his house upon a rock:
I say that it would not be wise to do things that were not included in the SAYINGS/COMMANDS of Christ that He SPOKE while He was with His Apostles! This is what is SPOKEN about days and feasts:
Romans 14:4-6 KJV
Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth.
Easy

Galations 1 just blows all of your theories out of the water.
“But when I saw that their conduct was not in step with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, “If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?””

I’m sry but
You wake up
Paul was a false prophet.
Please see Pauline paradox teaching, it will change your life.
Paul was the chose vessel to bring the Gospel to the Gentiles... (Acts 9:15)
Peter considered him a brother... (2 Peter 3:15)
While you're in 2 Peter also refer to 2 Peter 3:15 through 17 - 15Consider also that our Lord’s patience brings salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom God gave him.
Most believers or their ancestors were NEVER in Egypt. Everything that Israel was required to do at the PHYSICAL arena are now done in the SPIRITUAL arena by Christians AFTER the Cross. Our worship must be via the spirit to please God…..as said by Christ:
John 4:23-24 KJV
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Second, I have been impressed that God's value of His Sabbath rests in the following order:
1. The 7th day from creation was His sign of His covenant with His people. This seems to last for all generations and carry His name to each person
2. God wanted to see at least a representative of each family 3 times a year commensurate with the main harvests/times of plenty and fellowship to share with His scribes and learn about who He is
3. God had a forward-looking understanding to share in the jubilee. Principles such as we are only caring for His creation and should rest it every 7th year, that we can trust Him to care for us through a Sabbath year, that we need to offer (and seek) second chances in the year of release, and that we look forward to the ultimate harvest of souls
I've not met people fellowshipping on God's Sabbaths that worshipped the calendar like pagans with the pyramids, ziggurats, Mayans, wiccans, etc, who build temples dedicated to astronomy, special days, every solstice, every moon, calling on mythic and historic demons by name and practice, and the such.

PROPHET BRADLEY U-TUBE WILL SHOW YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!🦊😎🕛🌈🔥💜♥️
The Holy Spirit and the Scriptures will tell me what I need to know...
They speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.'”
1 Timothy 4:1 - “Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons.”
Ezekiel 13:3 - “Thus says the Lord God, Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!”
2 Corinthians 11:13 - “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.”
Jeremiah 14:14 - “And the LORD said to me: ‘The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.'”
Ezekiel 22:28 - “And her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD,’ when the LORD has not spoken.”
Jeremiah 23:21 - “I did not send the prophets, yet they ran; I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied.”
Jeremiah 23:25-26 - “I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in my name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’ How long shall there be lies in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, and who prophesy the deceit of their own heart?”
How many times have you WRONGLY and FALSELY predicted the "rapture" and other Unbiblical nonsense?

Time stamp 12:00, I disagree, and here is Why... "...Jer 12:14 Thus saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.
Jer 12:17 But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD..."
This is The Word of GOD on exactly how to become a "Member" of The House of Israel (Wither Adopted or Grafted)... It can not be any other way...
It goes right over ur head sadly
@@YeshuaKingMessiah What are you saying... You think it "Right" to teach against YAH'S Command... Any of them... What was it James said... "...Jas 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all..." I think maybe it went right over Your head...
That sounds good and dandy except Shaúl did not prohibit circumcision. Rather circumcision is an option, a choice of personal conscience.
Obviously you got the same lying memo about Shaúl:
Acts 21:21 "And they are informed of thee-(Shaúl), that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.
22 What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come.
23 Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;
24 Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law."
What you just read should convince you that the rumor about Shaúl prohibiting circumcision is a lie.
Now, concerning gentiles the following was decided. (As you read compare the KJV to other 4 versions and see if you catch a difference)
Acts 21:25 KJV ---- "As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they [observe no such thing, save only that they] keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.
ASV (American Standard Version) "But as touching the Gentiles that have believed, we wrote, giving judgment that they should keep themselves from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what is strangled, and from fornication."
OJB (Orthodox Jewish Bible) “And concerning the Goyim coming to [Orthodox Jewish] emunah, we have sent an iggeret with our decision that they avoid what is offered to elilim and dahm and what is strangled and zenut."
ISV (International Standard Version) "As for the gentiles who have become believers, we have sent a letter with our decision that they should keep away from food that has been sacrificed to idols, from blood, from anything strangled, and from sexual immorality.”
EXB (Expanded Bible) "We have already sent a letter [L with our judgment/decision] to the Gentile believers [C the decision of the council of Jerusalem; 15:6-21]. The letter said: ‘Do not eat food that has been offered to idols, or blood, or animals that have been strangled. Do not take part in sexual sin [15:20].’”
Go back to the KJV, did you notice the text within the [brackets]? Did you also notice that the other versions do not have the part in brackets?
Out of 59 versions, 13 have the added, "that they observe no such thing".
Did ALAHAIM-(aka, ELOHIM or GOD) make one set of rules for Yews and a different set for gentiles? If you answered yes to that question then we have problem with the following:
* Deuteronomy 16:19 "Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous."
* Acts 10:34 "Then Peter opened [his] mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:"
* Romans 2:11 "For there is no respect of persons with God."
* Colossians 3:11 "Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond [nor] free: but Christ [is] all, and in all."
* Romans 10:12 "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him."
We already learned that the rumors about Shaúl prohibiting circumcision were lies. Shaúl didn't prohibit circumcision, but what did James mean when he concluded by adding the following to his decision?
Acts 15:21 "For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day."
A Failure to understand what the brother of MESSIAH meant by those words is why almost all Christians come to the wrong conclusion about the gentiles and circumcision.
I'll come back here next Sabbath to see if anyone was able to explain what Acts 15:21 means. Only those who are learned are able to understand.
SHALÓM HAVERIM
P.D. I will add this about gentiles. No gentile will be saved as such. A gentile is defined as one who is "out or without Covenant". Anyone who embraces the Covenant is no longer a gentile. Doesn't matter if you are a Yew, you can still be a gentile. An very important thing to notice about New Yerushalaim (Revelation 21) is that there's no entry gate for gentiles; no windows to climb through either-(John.10:1)
Anyone who enters must become part of the Commonwealth of YisraÉL. Scripture truly is, all about YisraÉL-(Rom.11:26).
I didn’t see a rumor or lie about Paul
@@unleavenedkaraiteplus3412 Gal 3: 28-29 both makes it moot about being a Jew/Gentile, but on the other hand if we belong to Christ, we ARE Abraham’s seed.
Who was the law given to.. Israel or gentiles? Jesus himself stated he fulfilled the law with his coming and now a new covenant was made. Jews keep themselves enslaved to the mosaic law bc they rejected their own Messiah sent to them. The moral law remains (10 commandments) and appointed festival days.
Read Ephesians 2.
Pay close attention.
Read verse 19 really carefully.
Then tell me, are you a Jew?.
YeHoVah NEVER made any separation concerning HIS Laws and Statutes in the "New Covenant" many people like you constantly misquote...
Please read the verses concerning the "New Covenant":
Jeremiah 31:31 through 33 - 31Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. 32It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt- a covenant they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD. 33“But this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD. I will put My law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people.…
Hebrews 8:8 through 10 - 8But God found fault with the people and said: “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.

Please tell me what happened to the Laws of GOD in these verses...

"Jesus himself said he fulfilled the Law"
And then He proce3ed to say in Matthew 5:19 - So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Your fathers have given you nothing but nonsense and unprofitable lies...
Why be teacher of the law in an age of grace? But let grace be shown from the law not the other way around
@@emptyxnes not only the law but the whole covenant is abolished so it doesn't matter what book you refer to. You can't get life out righteousness by keeping any law but by faith through Jesus can one be justified and recieve eternal life
@@dr.tinsaienegash2536 Completely agree. The law does not save. I do not believe anyone is saying that. You actually bring up interesting points. Some argue, like Dr. Brown that the 10 commandments are part of the Mosaic law therefore no longer standing. Others like Dr Voddie Bachum believes they still stand but not the 4rth. I'm not here to convince you in anything(I havent studied enough and 4 yrs. ago I decided wo walk with Christ wherever it leads). Just reflect on this. What does walking with God mean, how does it look like. and James 2:14-26. Be blessed friend.
