Clarification: The car has been tuned (mentioned in other video), so that in normal/comfort mode the car has 160hp and in sport it has 180hp.
I can't think of many things in life that annoy me more than lag and slow response on the LCD speedometers. What's the point of using it if it performs worse than an analogue gauge from late 19th century? Look at that fucking rpm gauge...arhgghh.h..

Comunque la prova é fasulla, la Competizione é in Sport mode, mentre la Turismo é in Normal! Tante grazie! Ovvio che una differenza c'é tra le due versioni, ma questo video non mostra una prova seria perché é chiaro che le vetture van provate a paritá di modalitá! La differenza comunque è notevole solo sopra i 200km/h, ma sotto non più di tanto. Ció che fa la differenza é la coppia e il piacere di guida. Inoltre la Competizione ha il Record Monza di serie che aiuta ad incrementare la coppia e l'allungo, ma questo scarico puó essere montato su qualunque versione, insieme al suo gemello Record Modena che persnalmente preferisco per estetica. Per finire, andate a vedere dei raffronti seri tra 180 e 160hp, questo video non rispecchia troppo la realtà per i motivi spora detti.
Secondo me invece la macchina è esattamente la stessa, prima in normal e poi in sport!
Ale Ma si è la stessa! L'ho scoperto osservando con attenzione alcuni piccoli dettagli sul cruscotto... è sempre lei in versione Normal e Sport!
È vero ! Anche se cambia la grafica , si tratta della stessa macchina ! Guardate il chilometraggio ... è lo stesso ! Anche se sembra che quando la metti in sport cambia la grafica nella versione restyling... mah!! No comment !

the turismo wasn't on sport mode on
the 180 HP Comp engine map is assigned to the sport button in this car. So you can't have Turismo power + sport mode. Its normal mode, Turismo power or hit the sport button and get Competizione power (and from what I can see of their other video on this, the sport mode still carries the sharper throttle response map also).

@@ruben9967 it has decent power and torque but afaik it has no mechanical LSD so on a twisty mountain road under 100-120 kmh it will not mean too much gain, but wheelspin.. and cost you tire and time.

Per me si tratta della stessa macchina solo in due modalita diverse. Strano che "entrambi" le macchine abbiano lo stesso kilometraggio. Qui si vede solo la differenza tra una turismo in modalita normale et la stessa turismo in sport. Non è una competizione ! ;)

@@fastezzz la potenza non cambia tra normal e sport, da sempre sulle 500 Abarth e così. Cambia solo la coppia motrice (più pressione del turbo) e la risposta del pedale dell'acceleratore, oltre all'indurimento dello sterzo. Ma la potenza massima erogata è e rimane la stessa.
This video contain an error, this Turismo is the old version with IHI turbocharger and 160hp. In your description I see that this Turismo have 165hp, is not true. Only the NEW Turismo restilyng have this power with the same turbocharger than Competizione, the GARRETT 1446. This test compare the old 160hp with little turbocharger vs new Competizione with 180hp and a new big turbo.
This is the new Turismo. Didn't you watch the video? You can see it at the start.. With the new styling rear lights and you can even see the Turismo badge..

AutoTopNL ok, I understand. The Turismo of this video is new? Ok, but is in NORMAL mode... see this video (minutes 4:30) and look the cockpit graphic change when you choose the SPORT mode ;)
The car in this video and through the whole video is the New Abarth Turismo carrying 165hp, but in the first clip it's in normal mode and in the second it's in sport mode which opens the turbocharger & gives the car more torque, also the pedal is more responsive and some other stuff.
oh what a big error 160 vs 180 ..both too weak. this car needs at least 250 hp
È sempre la stessa auto (595 turismo) a confronto. Una volta la prova è in modalità Normal e poi in modalità Sport. 😀

The difference of price have no sense, 595 just 13-14 km/h slower. Half second 0 to 100 (6,2-6,7) and 595 breaks are very good 39,2 stop by 100 km/h ..

Its normal, that board computer is limited in 50l/100 km. If not it would show more than 70-80 liters in first gear. Like Skoda Octavia RS mk2 that car shows 99.9 liters/100 km easily. Watch this watch?v=X_3uqqMNk1I

friend, this comparison is not valid. When you show the two dials, you deny that both are in truth the same car. there is an option that changes the display. and the kms are the same. Coincidence...

The Abarth has a sport button that changes the display screen. This this exactly the same car. There are three versions. Standard Corsa, Turismo and the Competizione. This car here is likely the Turismo. First run is standard mode (left) and the other one sport (right)

I had a 595 i sold it don't ever buy this car with an automatic transmission! In general these cars are from an inferior build quality my door handle broke of the control panel for the mirrors fell into the door and the gearbox broke. And they are pretty pricey they look special and cool but that's about it. Buy a golf Gti or something like that I have a BMW M135I now and that's much nicer and faster.
