The design of these older Galaxy phones was so much better than what we've got with the new ones. Samsung at some point forgot what color looked like with their design. I personally hate all these minimal color options that we've got now.

This phone is one of the goat phones, I’ll tell you why. All the tech it has intelligence scan iris scan, finger print, face recognition. Snap dragon chip 6gb ram or what ever it has, was way ahead of its time. And the best thing is this is where it all changed, this was the phone where people went from saying you can’t use an android to them selling more phones then most. So everything great about Samsung phones today this phone is where it started… = goat phone! 🐐📞
Even better is I remember when I wanted one so bad and I couldn’t afford them brand new 700-800 pound even second hand aswell, I had to hunt for the cheapest one I could find, smashed second hand, think it was stolen he had many of them. Now can get them for around £150.00 refurbished!

i have it for 4 years now and it is still holding strong , in my daytime i accidentaly drop it at least 5 times a day and still it has only one crack and it has the ability to go head to head to some new samsung phones (not flagship) . I just love it

Still my daily driver. Still works. I bought it 1 year after it's launch -- by then it was cheaper than the S10 series, any bugs it had were fixed, software ran better and was equally on par with its successor. Well aware that it doesn't get updates anymore, I still have no problems using this phone. And I don't do any banking on it or Google or Samsung pay on the phone. Finally, I'm annoyed that the "latest and greatest" devices are removing essential features that don't even justify the over pricing. No headphone jack, no charger, no sd card reader.
Under display finger print readers are not as fast as physical scanners. Yes my phone has small bessels, but not only does it not bother me, but I don't have a notch or a hole punch for the front camera. I have an led notification light. And a heart rate monitor. I can expand the memory via micro SD or USB OTG. I have more audio options: headphone jack, wireless headphones, external speaker, or speaker phone. And still have water resistence. So yeah, no point in upgrading anytime soon.

Too soon bros, i cracked my s9+ when i had a soft case on, i miss it bros, pixel 6 is ok but not the same.
It was peak smartphone, notication light, no notch, headphone jack, sd card, good screen, good audio, a11, peak smartphone.

Still going strong! I even added an SD card when my storage was getting low. Samsung made a phone too good so now they're taking features away in the newer models.

Had it for years. Use it to produce music and edit videos. I have no problems at all when it comes to speed or battery life.
