Saw him in the late 1980's...a tall drink of water in jeans! Pray for him as he recovers from his stroke each month...Sad my heart goes out for him...he is singing a bit again.
Aww, bless his heart. I hope that he has made a full recovery. He is a fighter. And an inspiration to thousands upon thousands!! He will forever be a legend!!! Mr. Travis, Sir, I would like to personally, thank you for such wonderful music. I grew up listening to country music.(I was born in '85) Back when it WAS COUNTRY MUSIC!!! My childhood, was amazing, because of it. Every Saturday morning, my mom an I would listen to the countdown. While cleaning the house together!! Good memories. Today's music is NO COMPARISON!!! Jus sayin.
I Told You So Randy Travis Suppose I called you up tonight And told you that I love you And suppose I said I want to come back home And suppose I cried and said I think I finally learned my lesson And I'm tired of spending all my time alone If I told you that I realized you're all I ever wanted And it's killing me to be so far away Would you tell my that you love me too And would we cry together Or would you simply laugh at me and say I told you so, I told you so I told you some day you'd come crawling back And asking me to take you in I told you so, but you had to go Now I've found somebody new And you will never break my heart in two again If I got down on my knees And told you I was yours forever Would you get down on yours too and take my hand Would we get that old-time feeling Would we laugh and talk for hours The way we did when our love first began Would you tell me that you've missed me too And that you've been so lonely And you've waited for the day that I returned And we'd live and love forever And that I'm your one and only Or would you say the tables finally turned And would you say I told you so, I told you so I told you some day you'd come crawling back And asking me to take you in I told you so, but you had to go Now I've found somebody new And you will never break my heart in two again

one of my favorite voices. Just beautiful!
Country music now is nothing like the old country in the 80’s and 90’.
Thanks for your love and support ❤
Anyone who dislikes this does not have any clue what real country music is.

Jus sayin.

Classics never die, just get better with age. Dear lord how I miss these true artists.
@RandyTravis005 you can't even speak proper English, and your area code is WRONG.
I Told You So
Randy Travis
Suppose I called you up tonight
And told you that I love you
And suppose I said I want to come back home
And suppose I cried and said I think I finally learned my lesson
And I'm tired of spending all my time alone
If I told you that I realized you're all I ever wanted
And it's killing me to be so far away
Would you tell my that you love me too
And would we cry together
Or would you simply laugh at me and say
I told you so, I told you so
I told you some day you'd come crawling back
And asking me to take you in
I told you so, but you had to go
Now I've found somebody new
And you will never break my heart in two again
If I got down on my knees
And told you I was yours forever
Would you get down on yours too and take my hand
Would we get that old-time feeling
Would we laugh and talk for hours
The way we did when our love first began
Would you tell me that you've missed me too
And that you've been so lonely
And you've waited for the day that I returned
And we'd live and love forever
And that I'm your one and only
Or would you say the tables finally turned
And would you say
I told you so, I told you so
I told you some day you'd come crawling back
And asking me to take you in
I told you so, but you had to go
Now I've found somebody new
And you will never break my heart in two again
Randy Travis has touched so many peoples lives ;God's Blessings to him and his wife on his recovery to the music he is about to do soon

Randy Travis was country. I miss this kind of country. Man take me back to the 90’s. To a Ga back road, take me back home
I am from Morocco, I am 62 years old and I have always listened to Randy Travis since 1982, really it is a legend
Awe, I love Randy. Always did. Always will. I hurts my heart that the stroke he suffered has taken this classic man from himself & his fans. I wish him well always & feel priviledge that he has been a part of my life! I saw him so many years ago when Alan Jackson actually opened for him! Imagine that show! God bless you, Randy! You are so loved!
Been married 11 years. Couldn't imagine life without her.
Great music and I still listen to to Randy Travis, George Jones, George strait and a lot of the older generation that's what you call country music
Love this song. The older country music is so. Much better than the new country music
I love all my fans and am a ton thankful to them for their extraordinary love, appreciation and support it keeps me all going
Are you one of my great fans out there?
New country music is trash no Offence but it is all the old stuff is the best
Yes i can agree with this comment
Hello
I am 100% Randy
dont care about his drinking , love this music , its so pure , thats what I see when I think of Randy , we all get old and fall down , one point its unevitable , respect what he, s done , he, s a man , not a God , love his music and his conviction , . . . most singers suffer like the artists they are
Beautiful voice.
