@@LucaGentili-d1v Thank you. That was the look I was going for. They had stripes on the figures but I just painted over them in the sky blue. Don't know why companies always seem to have the stripes on the figures when it isn't accurate. Even most Hollywood cavalry movies don't have yellow stripes on the troopers.
@@marklinnane1744 John Wayne's cavalry is hard to die..or perhaps companies' researchers all think the indian term "yellow legs" denoted every cavalryman and not just nco and officers
Thank you,no problem 👍. Was going for that ununiformed look with the figures like yourself with the different colour shirts and you inspired me to have a go at a checkered shirt. Set 2 will be my next video.
Very nicely done figures. They would go well with Airfix 7th Cavalry. Thats the first I've seen of this item. I don't even have the Airfix 7th Cavalry. Im struggling to find any of those here in Australia. Most of the Airfix Cavalry ive seen only in US , Canada and UK but mostly in US. The cost is high especially for a complete set. That's the Airfix i speak about. Love your figures and the different coloured painted doubles. It gives a sence of unique individual soldier. I missed the brand you have there. I'll check that out again. Those look great.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
Thank you very much 👍. I paint usually about 1- 2hrs per night most nights. I paint 2 figures at a time which takes me about a week. So it took me 6 -7 weeks to paint that set.
To add diversity to the figures, it could be also possible to swap heads and modify some arms' poses. Finally some producers that doesn't give to Indian wars' soldiers the sabres, that generally weren't carried on campaign.
@@marklinnane1744 No problem. I also use Citadel Night Lords Blue for the shirts. I use those two paints for my figures to give them the "classic" look!
Bellissimo!
No big white braces nor yellow stipes for troopers. Nice and accurate painting👏👏👏

Thank you 👍. I was lucky enough to get a Airfix 7th Cavalry set a few yrs ago.
Lovely figures and paint jobs, would these be more in scale of Airfix...I know the Paragons are on the large size!
Thank you 👍. Yes they are the exact same scale as Airfix. But not compatible with paragon.
@@marklinnane1744 Cheers : )
Beautiful work on the painting. Love seeing your work. How long does it take you to paint one figure? Thanks for sharing!

Yes certainly one of the more accurate sets regarding the Indian Wars Cavalry.
Try Citadel Blue Horror for their trousers
Thanks . Had never known about it. 👍

They got the battle's name wrong. 😅
