Hey Jeanette thanks for another amazing video!! You have the best channel that I have found out there hands down. Informative and so through, we are so lucky to have you. Would you buy the brother multi again if you were to do it over? I think your happy with them. I priced out the smallest ZSK today and in cdn dollars they are 22,500 plus the lovely tax that’s a lot of money!! I found the 10 needle Brother brand for 15,000 but it’s regular 22,000 as well 😳 The fellow I was talking to said Brother is a good brand but it’s not commercial and the only real benefit I could see with having a commercial one is maybe the bearings and gears will last longer. I feel more comfortable with Brother cause you have explained so much about them….that’s a ton of embroidering to pay for a multi needle.
I am very happy with the Brother machines. So far they have been serving me well. I do get them maintain on an annual basis. Whatever route you go with the multi-needle just know it will cost much more. So you have to be sure that is something you really need to do what you want. Lots of folks over look the single needle machine because of the flatbed but I know lots of folks that use those machines too. But know that those machines (the high level ones) can cost just as much as multi-needles. A good quality machine will cost money for sure.
I will be staying with mine cause I have the multi-needles machines. But if I was, I would look for the one with the biggest hoop that I could afford. Now with the 6x10 hoop you can do alot of ITH projects. I would definitely recommend going to the next step up if you can on the flatbed machines.
HI Sierra. It can be that the thread is dry. I use this to help the thread and it works great. Just put a little on the side of the thread. As for tangling up, make sure the thread is not wrapped around the needle when you thread it. I should going straight down. amzn.to/3U8KGAO
I have been wanting to ask you for awhile…6 needle or 10 needle? Do the extra needles make much difference? Is the hoop size the same? Thanks for all the great info! Love your channel!
Brother does upgrade the software on all the machines but the upgrade is for the operating system. The new six needle machine has the WIFI capability. I believe it's the PR680e. The one I have is the PR670e, it doesn't have the wifi.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts I was looking at a used 650e… any idea the difference in it and yours. Does yours have a laser? I’d love to buy a commercial machine, but think it’s smarter to start with what I have cash for. Any advice on what to look for with a used machine.
@@ladonnaaguilar4456 The PR670e does have the laser. I would see how much a new machine would cost to make sure when you are buying a new one that you are getting a good deal. Also, make sure they were servicing the machine and you see that the machine works. I recommend getting the latest version possible. This way you have most of the current capabilities.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts okay, I know I’m asking a million questions, but do you already have a video talking about the tension on a multi needle? Like I know with the Melco, the selling point is speed and the actifeed system. I was seriously considering one and then I found out they no longer have the two day onsite training unless you want to drop $1500 more. Also, I’m short… 5’3” are the carts adjustable height? Thank you so much for answering all of my questions I really appreciate your time❤️
Thank you so much. I was confused on the differences between the diff machines. Your tips for purchasing will be a great help

Will you be updating your single needle machine? If so, what machine would you buy? I trust your judgment. Thanks.

Hi! I’ve enjoyed your videos. But what if the thread keeps fraying and tangling up in the machine as it embroiders? Does this have to do with needle?

I like them both. The do have different functions thou.
Are you going to change out your Brother machines?
I might. Not sure. I'm very happy with the machines. I do need a third. I am still doing my own research.
With the 6 needle can you get software upgrades for when they come out with the next version?
