Suction would be reduced more when the main filter is clogged. I ordered one for the wife too! I have a cyclonic thingy for my shop vac as well. It fills a 5 gl bucket with sawdust, no loss in suction and I do not need to clean the filter.
ehm... so... now you need to clean one plastic container instead of another plastic container?
