I'm using a custom Reshade preset that increases contrast, sharpens and enhances shadows. The original textures and lighting are smoother.

I wonder how modular will the mod be at release? Could i add and remove things i like and dont like? I get that i could just remove the files but its hard to find out what is what. like what files are for armored ogre or the icons.

It is completely modular, all mods are divided into categories and signed, it is worth entering "ogres" in the search bar and you will immediately find and delete them as well as the new interface.
