      My friend, in the dog story, the husband is lonely because she's almost never home, she found excuses to why not have a dog for over a year and yet did not come home earlier, they moved to a new state, where he had no friends, no family... ofc he wanted that dog, he's absolutely lonely. I think OP was the inconsiderate one in that story, not the husband, the husband just broke and couldn't handle being alone constantly.

    ITs people like the the one in the first story that make it harder for those of us that are actually disabled

  • @QuickManEXE
    @QuickManEXE 11 месяцев назад +15

    Story 1: I've said these 4 words before and i'll say them again... "Right To Refuse Service!". I know that all disabilities are different and not all are visible, but i think she was full of crap here and used it as a pathetic way to try and ether get sympathy or try and get the OP to do more for her. Not just that, but they had her on camera the entire time with no difficulties, walking just fine, standing around and being a complete bag. Stupidity isn't a disability. At least corporate and the other staff and managers were on the OP's side here, otherwise things could've been ugly. Screw that Karen! People like that go out in public solely to be jerks.
    Story 2: If the husband legit had a need for an emotional support dog, then i would say 'too bad, so sad' to the OP, but it really sounds like that isnt the case at all here, the husband just really really wants a doberman at all costs. I dont blame the OP for wanting to divorce the husband here... and i'm a dog lover too.
    Story 3: If you look up "drama queen" in the dictionary, you'd find a picture of the MIL here. She is a complete drama queen and a jerk here. Her comments on everything towards the OP were bad enough, but then to demand that she pay for the entire meal is just beyond wrong. Also, i sling mud at the other in-laws too for sending the OP things about what can cause excessive eating. That is just so wrong and totally inappropriate.
    Story 4: That customer was a complete moron. Why would you not want advice on where to get something cheaper? Unless you really really want to patronize that particular store, i would've thanked the OP for the advice on where to get it cheaper.
    Story 5: Your "friend" is a complete jerk, back-stabber and drama lover. I would want absolutely nothing to do against her, either personally or professionally. The OP got Sarah this job... and this is what Sarah does??? Screw her!!!

And having it as a puppy will help with the “big dog problem.” They should have had this conversation prior to marriage. But she needs to think about his needs. And he did wait for a year. A small apartment would have been better, true. But that’s what dog parks are for.

    I don't know if this story's going to make a video or not. But I'm putting it out because I've had time to sleep on it. I know I posted one story that didn't get any attention. But I wasn't trying to. I just thought I shared a story before. I was kinda hoping it would. But it was straight to the point. It was about my youngest sister. Now this one's not just about both sisters. It's also about my parents too. Weather anyone could relate to this or not is entirely up to them. But I would want this to be in a video later down the road maybe.
    So I live with my mother and stepfather. I'm a 28 year old man and I have a disability. For personal reasons, I don't want to reveal what it is because I was born with it. So here's the story. It all started over ten years ago. So I was working minimum wage, getting paid 7 dollars an hour, and around January 10th 2013 my birthday, I had just turned 18. My mother was supposed to get me my disability. For the longest time, I waited for her to get it done and get that out of the way. So she just sets everything up and nowadays with the economy in the state that it's in, it's practically impossible to get my Disability now. One of my Sisters at this time ended up pregnant with a baby girl and my mother did everything she could to help her raise the kid. She currently has two Girls going on. Despite the fact that I've helped her out many times, I wanted my mother to shift her focus back on me since my mother still owed me my Disability and my life. At the time, I wanted to live a very Lucius life. Out of my current State. However over the years, my hopes and dreams have slowly been crushed because of this. It got to the point to where I don't even want my disability anymore. The first time I realized I had enough was my first attempt to run away. While everything wasn't planned properly, I figured they get the message that they need to permanently fix this that my Sister has no influence in their life or I would be out telling them to go F**k themselves. After they found me brought me back home, they're worried I'm going to do the same thing and believe it or not, I'm considering my options.
    Yesterday I had a talk with them and I still don't feel happy. Each time I'm around my family, I want nothing to do with them. I informed them that today was supposed to be my day I got an ID in a long time. They know I have plans. But they don't want me to put them into action. Right now, I am pissed at them because the day that was supposed to be my day to get my ID, they wanted to bring my nieces which is fine. I had no problem with this. But on the day I was supposed to get my ID, my mother the night before wanted to invite my sister and her daughters to the pool. This is the last thing I wanted. What I really want to say to my mother right now is I don't ever want to see your GD face again. I'd say it if I could. Right now, she's the only one paying the bills. That wouldn't be the case if she had focused on me. And now that I want nothing to do with her or my family, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I want to distance myself from my family. But I don't know what to do. I'm opened to anyone's advice and suggestions.

    I think the woman with the dog problem is overreacting. They moved states. The woman is always working. Probably no friends or family nearby. It sounds like the man is very lonely and the wife doesn't seem to get that. Most men in this situation would turn to cheating, but all this guy wants is a dog. Give the guy a break. She even brought up divorce. Over a dog. Dont sound like she is much of a keeper anyways.

    Story #2 - another case of the narrator refusing to see things from any other perspective. Let's just forget about the fact the husband moved for the wife who works 60+ hours a week, so it's pretty unreasonable to think the husband's companionship should be limited to a flippin' goldfish. I think the wife is being unreasonable with her blanket denial and her refusal to even consider the husband's situation and feelings, but yeah, sure....the husband is the one who's considering only their own feelings. IMO, it would be a different story if the wife gave the husband/dog a couple of months, and it was apparent the husband wasn't training or taking care of the dog, or if the dog was really aggressive and destroying property while constantly invading o/p's personal space, but it's been 2 days. Why not just give the husband a chance? You know...like the husband did for the wife when he moved to a different state to wait around while the wife worked long hours.

      You are missing the point where she did agree for him to get the dog, but he needed to wait until they move to a house because remember they live in a tiny apartment (too small for the kind of the dog the husband wants) to move into a house with a backyard so the dog will have enough space.

    Story 3 - F what she wants. She has absolutely NO SAY in what YOU eat. You can eat whatever you want and your MIL can STFU about it and mind her own business. What she thinks doesn't matter and wether your BIL and FIL are uncomfortable or not is 100% irrelevant.

    Story 2: OP is the AH. Unwilling to discuss or consider the husband's feelings on having a dog at all. Could he have gotten a smaller dog? Most likely but she was determined not to have a dog at all. Always an excuse about why not. She already admitted her husband is home alone a lot. How would she know if he needs a support animal or not? He can do better.

Story 2 is a perfect example, the husband waited and wait but it sounds like the wife was using a stall until you forget tactic and then was upset when he considered his own well being finally. The dog story. I really think that the wife has a really good reason to be quite upset with her husband. Now yes they did move to a new state and her husband doesn't have the support of family. Now I respect the fact that he wanted a dog. What I have a major issue with is that he brought back a dog after a trip knowing full well that his wife is afraid. And sure he is a grown man but he is also a husband.They are suppose to make joint decisions, which he didn't do. The wife never said that they couldn't get a dog. She said that they don't have space for a dog and not a breed that she is afraid of. I believe that the wife isn't the jerk and needs to step away from the marriage. I am not saying that they should get divorced. I believe that a temporary separation is needed. The husband really needs to sit and think about his actions and why his wife is upset. I feel he picked a breed of dog that his wife is afraid of just to spite her. Him claiming to be a grown man doing what he wants is BS because he isn't acting like one. It seems that the husband didn't even bother reading the letter the wife left for him about the dog. And didn't she say that they were allowed to have a dog in the apartment they currently live in? If so, why would he risk eviction by bring home a dog? I really hope the OP is able to work this out with her husband.
