- Malaysia is first to get Alibaba’s DingTalk in English
Mobile office is the way to go and jumping on the bandwagon is DingTalk, a collaboration and messaging app for small- to medium-sized businesses from Alibaba Group.
Launched in 2015, DingTalk is currently used in over five million organisations in China and was only available in Mandarin until now.
“Malaysia is the first market to get DingTalk in English. Our focus is very much on building the necessary support foundation for enterprises who aim to step-change their business communications,” said DingTalk chief technology officer Hugo Zhu in a statement. “It is a platform that combines all workplace tools in one place, allowing collaborations and tracking on both the employer and employee’s level.”

i would like to see the meeting option of this app. i want to use it for teaching, can you upload ppt and videos for everyone in the meeting to see. can everyone in the meeting see each other. how interactive is it. is there a whiteboard that anyone in the meeting can doodle on?
I'm in China and we are fighting the Corona virus outbreak at the moment. The gov't has pushed everyone to use this app to work from home during the quarntine. I will be using it to teach classes and I am very nervous with such short notice to learn the app. Thanks for the video! Hopefully you will get lots of traffic soon.

@@LaoshiChristine so far it's o.k., I've had difficulty with my alipay login which prevents me from using the broadcast features. We've been jumping between different apps and platforms using ding, zoom, QQ, and WeChat looking for the best option. Luckily my class sizes have been small with no more than 16 students so basic video conferencing and screen sharing were all we needed.
