What I love about this musical is that it doesn’t take itself too seriously. It can be as wacky and goofy and imperfect as you’d like. Great job to this cast! They looked like they were having a ton of fun, and that’s what really matters!
This production was pretty amazing, great casting, especially for SpongeBob! Few critiques, first for the both Krabs & Plankton, they sound like they both pushed their voices a little bit and they were yelling their lines a lot. Second, the way the choreo was preformed could’ve been a little more energetic between the entire cast, which I understand, it’s universal! Third, there were some very specific notes in the songs that I feel could’ve been hit, of course I understand whatever circumstance of why they couldn’t, but with a bit more practice they could’ve hit them. (Also some of Pearl’s notes were a tad flat) That’s all the notes I have to give, but again I think this was pretty darn good!!
okay don't make any assumptions then. 1.) this is a high school, not a church. 2.) we did not alter the show in any way, shape or form. (is it even possible to make spongebob homophobic or about god???) 3.) this show was done legally through arrangement with concord theatricals.
@@chelsiirvine8970it is SO unnecessary. Never go to a high school production PLEASE, I would cry. You cannot compare a high schooler to a professional dummy

@TheAlastorfan I went there, it's full of students who will hurt you and teachers who mock you for it
I really really think that Mr.Krabs is definitely pushing their voice, also A LOT is copied from the Broadway one down to the costumes.
The last time a church did a musical it ended up being homophobic and more about god. and Illegal. Hopefully this ain't the same.

Good try but no one can be amazing as Ethan Slater
Ethan Slater is a professional. These are school kids. Why are you even comparing them?
