@@redzone1019 appreciate that. It had been pretty much exclusively sitting outside for over a year and it’s holding up great. The coating is tough and the blade is easy to maintain.
Swords should have never gone out of fashion for warfare simply because bullets are finite. A knife is fine but it doesn't have the reach whereas even a short sword can be deadly with a simple thrust from a few feet away.
Short swords are well worth it in our modern arsenal
